Do you need a more powerful laptop? I mean, do you plan on doing any gaming or just web surfing and word processing? If it's the latter, just get the one you originally wanted as you won't need the extra power.

Or, you could be supercool like me and buy a $50 IBM Thinkpad boat of a laptop that only works when plugged in. ;) Word of caution though, you can only take it online if you can find a 56k connection.

New MW2 map pack tomorrow. Can't wait. Too bad my kid hasn't gone to bed at a decent enough time yet this week for me to play much of anything.

You should buy Linkinprime's Guide To Parenting: How To Ignore Your Kids in a Pixelated World - Fifth Edition.

I like to imagine that I will one day be a crazy computer user who does all kinds of important shit that requires massive amounts of resources. But, in reality, even on my desktop all I ever do is surf the web, listen to music, and do word processing.

Occasionally I play an old game on Steam.

Eh, I still say buy the cheaper one. Who knows when you'll be ready to do the power intensive stuff, by then, you might be ready to buy a new laptop. Plus, you can always upgrade the ram.

That was kind of facetious because I doubt I'll ever do power intensive stuff. I like to think fuck YEAH MORE RAM MORE POWER MORE AWESOME but when I really think about it I don't need it all.
Do you know who you're going to live with, Rocko?
Three people I don't know. I got their names and tried to internet-stalk them. From what I can gather, one is a freshman from Orlando, one is also from Orlando and likely a freshman who is friends with the first freshman, and one is a sophomore from I don't know where because I never looked it up. I'm living in an apartment-style, 4 separate bedrooms with two bathrooms, a "living room" (I use that term sparingly) and a kitchen.

I have stayed in that style floorplan before. I like it quite a bit. I actually wish we had floorplans like that here at TSTC.
Is everyone else getting captcha codes when uploading on tinypic.com? It just started happening to me yesterday and my anti-virus keeps indicating it thinks its a hijacking attempt.
Yeah, they started doing captchas now. It's fine.

I gotta procure boxes to ship all this shit in.

Steps have already been taken....I should be shipping them out early next week.

I'll send PM's to the appropriate individuals for shipping information.
Morning, OTT.

Why do the 4 day work weeks always seem longer than the regular ones?
Three day work week for me. I have off tomorrow. :D

I'm pretty sure this kid outside my window just picked up an ant off the ground and ate it.

JFD - you should eat a meatloaf stuffed with bacon and sausage served with a side of chicken fries.

fuck all you guys. I have not had a day off since May 1st, which is the day I went back to work after my hand injury. I was supposed to have yesterday off, but I still ended up working a half day.
a) I'm about to fall asleep at my desk

b) Squirrels are humping outside my window
At least you got a window to look out into. My only option is my neighbor across from my cubicle. :/

Mak has inspired me to take Monday off...That coupled with Number85's graduation from Kindergarten (LOL, graduation from Kindergarten:roll:) makes next week a 3 day week...well, 2 and a half if you want to count the company picnic next Thursday in which I will just go home instead.

More than likely though, something will come up and I'll end up coming in anyway, like has happened the past 4 times I tried to take a day off.

technically i'm at work 24/7, but you know being at home is part of it. i'm not looking forward to 8 months of work without days off.

Oh, man.

That venue really fucking sucks ass because the acoustics are kinda shitty and the stage isn't elevated high enough considering that the floor is completely flat, but I'll take what I can get. Maybe it isn't as shitty up in the balcony area.

A special pre-sale begins on Monday, June 7th at 9 AM EST, via the band’s website. Pre-sale tickets promise to provide access to the best seats at each show, and each purchase comes with a complete live recording of the show, delivered via email the day after the show.

New US Tour Dates Announced!
The Pixies are bringing The Doolittle Tour back to the U.S.A. The 11-city trek kicks off on September 7 at the Tower Theatre in Philadelphia and will extend the 20th anniversary celebration of the release of the band's classic 1989 album, Doolittle. All of the shows will be recorded and the CDs will be made available immediately after every show at the band's merch table; all live CDs can also be ordered at www.doolittlelive.com.
:bouncy::bouncy::bouncy:

I'll get chills down my spine if they play "Where Is My Mind?" during the encore.

I want to play the new COD maps, but instead my ridiculously attractive friend is coming over. Decent trade I suppose.

It worked! If you want it now, use the link I provided.
