I ordered Magical Starsign for DS and it says [CD-ROM] as well... I highly doubt it's going to have a cd-rom instead of a DS cart.

I'm going to get Powerstone, and I'm trying to choose between Genji and Children of Mana. I can't quite decide on Mana. Sounds like it looks great, and I enjoy a good dungeon hack, but they also say it's repetitive.

Genji meanwhile sounds like it's your typical Onimusha type game (by the same people really). I'm not a HUGE fan of that, but it's probably a fun play through.

Geez. IGN gave Children of Mana an 8...but Gamespot only a 5.8 which seems more typical.
 
In for PSU (360) and Donkey Konga 2. Anyone know what EB's return policy is around the holidays? I bought PSU from there at launch, and it dropping $40 in 2 months (or less) hurts. Hoping I can return the sealed one there (I still have my receipt).

You bought it two months ago? I think you're just stuck with it. Receipts for recently purchased items will say "These items can be returned until Jan. 15th" or something similar... if your receipt dosen't say that I think you are screwed unless you get a dumb / sympathetic EB clerk.

Eh, I'm figuring I can use the old "I got it as a gift & already have it, so the giver gave me their receipt" this close to Christmas. If nothing else, I can trade it somewhere & get more than $20 for it, so there's no risk involved.
 
Bleh. I paid $35 for Mortal Kombat Unchained at Buy.com a couple weeks ago. Ordered Nov. 14th..shipped the 18th...received like the 27th or whatever.

As for the other deals, maybe, I'm at least interested.

man store will take back unopen games the day after xmas without a recept . that probally be your best chance. Or just keep it in your collection as sealed.
 
Thanks, I had to jump on Phantasy Star Online for 360. The others were alright but they had some excellent hack and slash sessions with friends (worth $20).

I don't get why Super Saver Shipping takes longer to process as Amazon says it does (before you order it says it takes an extra 3 - 5 days to process). I just think they do that on purpose to try to get you to not use it.

Was thinking about buying it off amazon and returning the CC one but 4 bucks isnt worth the time it would take

I think they do that so it gives people incentive to sign up for Prime.

I got it from Best buy for 19.00 after tax

I used the CC price match to get it for 22.99 and used one of those 5 best buy coupons to get it for 17.99 + tax

just found the recept.

and already got to return the children of mana game

wealp just fired off an email to amazon requesting a price adjustment over PSU

paid $30 for it sunday and now it's $20...i thought saving $30 on the game was killer, but damn. Really glad i didnt buy it at launch.

Every so often when you go to checkout, you'll get the option for the Amazon Prime free 1 month trial with free two day shipping. You might have to refresh the page for awhile before it comes up.

I remember I added some stuff to my cart, went to check out, got to the last screen, changed my mind, closed the webpage, came back later to go for it and there it was, the option to join the free trial.
