BTW, got my copy of CoM in yesterday, and I'm impressed.

It's NOT a regular Mana game. It IS a Diablo game. Town hub w/ all your quests you can pick from and shops to buy/sell from, and then you go to an area, pick the quest (that you already accepted) that you want to run in the level, and off you go. Total dungeon crawling with tons and tons and tons of items given to you that you can use or sell for cash.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL music and great artwork.

And the multiplayer? It's the real deal. There is no stupid "multiplayer mode" like in many games; it's full blown multiplayer co-op for the main game! LAN people in at your town and they help you with your quests.

Totally suggest it, but, as I said, NOT a regular Mana game.

The problem for me is I have such a huge backlog that I wouldn't probably finish them (or possibly even get to them) until they're not worth much.

Regarding Bomberman Act Zero-from EVERY review I've read, no it's not remotely worth $15. It sounds like easily the worst Bomberman game ever. You'd be better off paying $6 for Bomberman 93, or pick up Bomberman for the PSP, or even Bomberman 1 emulated on the GBA or any of the trillions of different versions. Act Zero just sounds astoundingly bad from every review I've seen (even aside from completely wrecking the graphics with that horrible "realistic/futuristic" look).

And remember it was a bargain game in Japan. It's not really much discounted over it's MSRP over there.

if you hated the first one you will Really hate the 2nd one. I loved the first one but hated the 2nd one. The 2nd one is around 10x harder

you only have 1 deck and everyone uses it.

Its just got a different look and you don't have to play as First Person Bomber, so the standard version is still there. Come on CAG's for $14.95 its totally worth it.

As much as I really really want to, reading the Amazon reviews STILL kill it for me. Even the multiplayer sounds shitty, and the single player sounds so bad that I can't even begin to fathom how they could put out a game where you're forced to play through 99 levels without lives, continues or even a way to PAUSE the game!

I have played it and it plays exactly as any other bomberman title. The only difference is the graphics/look. They do have the standard "view from top" gameplay and all the powerups are still there. Seriously if you liked Bomberman, you'll like this one. The only problem is that there's not enough people out there playing it.

Single player can get challenging since theres no lives, but you can pick up heart power ups that let you take a bomb blast, and the heart power ups stack up so if youre good at the game you can get through the game without any issues. Playing single player in "First Person Bomber" mode you start off with health and a bomb blast only takes out a little at a time so its easier even through the view is harder.

I held off on Bomberman too because I remember hearing how shitty it was. Then again those people probably didn't get it for $15. Maybe if EBA drops a little more I'll put in another order and add Bomberman for free shipping.

On the flip side apparently I had put PSU into my basket yesterday and so for whatever reason it let me put the order through today. Got confirmation from them and everything so I guess I lucked out. Total order was the vision camera, GOW CE (for return shenanigans), Hitman Blood Money, The Godfather & PSU for under $200. Not bad Amazon, not bad.

I placed an order for a second copy of CoM on the 5th. My wife called to say it's at my house right now.
My first copy of CoM was ordered Monday and got here yesterday. BTW, I'm using Amazon Prime, which appears to give priority.

I partially agree as I waited and managed to pick up the original Baten Kaitos w/ the bonus soundtrack for $10 at TRU, but since there is no tax and I wouldn't have gotten free shipping without buying something else it is still a pretty solid deal.
