decided to not get AA for $50. bought carnival games for $10.

It's also hella dumb how the lightning discount works. I gotta go pre-order some game to get my MW2 credit on hold so it won't mess with the discounting.
 
Was hoping AC2 would be 40 but oh well, got a copy of midnight club la for 10 bucks so wont have to fight for it at walmart for that price.

Yeah. same thing happened to me. I preordered a game that comes out next year just to take the credit out of my account while these deals are going on.

sounds midnight club is a good game for hardcore racing fans, but otherwise way to difficult. I'm on the fence but I'm going to pass on adding this to the pile of shame. Too many games to play right now to invest this kind of time into a frustratingly difficult racing game.
 
So, any word on other DS Lite colors having deals this week? 100 dollars was always the price point I wanted...like blue or red or black or grey, essentially every color but the one currently offered.

Not sure what you are looking at is it shows me 11% for PS3 while 10% for 360.
 
So what are guesses from any Amazon BF vets as to the PS3 deal?

Is it gone for good?
Being modified?

I mean - I'd take any two half decent games over braving the crazed hordes @ WM or BB - but what are the odds we get details before Friday morning?

Was hoping for better with AC2, but it was blind hope. Should've known I wouldnt grab it for $40 the second week of its release. Still crossing my fingers for some Friday magic.

Yeah, I refreshed it after I posted it and felt stupid. But it did take a while for it to reach that mark.
 
With the arcade stick, I wouldn't mind picking up Tekken 6 for the right price. Realistically though I don't see much of a discount on this yet. I am not a huge Tekken fan so I'd be more interested in the fighting stick for use with Soul Calibur IV and Street Fighter IV.
 
Is there a way for me to just use a promotional code but now my gift card balance? Trying to pre-order something with a promo code (MW2) but I want my gift card balance available.

yeah was lucky to get one of those--now if i could get an xbox 1 that be sweet.

so far gotta say batman ce has been the best deal today or at least the only one that made me think of buying --passed though cuz i only want the game and for cheap. great game though played it on the ps3 for a few days and really liked it-

Jesus christ. STFU already and let people make their own decisions on where to shop. It's too bad you had a bad time working there. But people buy at Gamestop for their own reasons. And not all of them are getting ripped off or conned into getting preorders.

Just cause you ran into stupid people doesn't mean the posters here (or all gamestop shoppers) are idiots.

I'd pay half price for the bundle. I can't believe I missed it for $30. :bomb:

Nevermind, it looks like it's for the 360 bundle anyway. All my fighting games are on PS3 because I have the SFIV TE stick on that system.
 
Eh... I was gonna get Midnight Club. It'd still be cheaper to get it at $10 and then buy the Ultimate Content Pack at 1000 MSP, but I think I'll just hold off. I did nab The Jungle Book at $10 though. haha

last year cheapy revealed most of the amazon deals that would go live at 3am friday morning if memory serves me right. I would say that it might be getting modified and that they'll probably have a deal for every console like most retailers have.

I mean, comon now.. the deals they have listed for friday sure as hell won't be the ONLY deals they have.

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a lot of these pre-bf deals live again on friday + more deals.

So I would say that you should know by thanksgiving if they will have the deal again or not. because I remember the deals being posted on thanksgiving with more to come throughout the day (from cheapy) last year.

i'm pretty sure that's how it went, but i could always be wrong. anyone that did amazon for bf last year, feel free to correct me.

This is black friday week. Left 4 Dead 2 came out last week too, and guess what, it's $44 and under with it being priced at $35 at best buy on friday.
 
Well today was very disappointing lets hope tomorrow has something decent. (like some psp game deals, xbla points, and forza 3):bouncy:
 
I, too, ordered Midnight Club: LA and had my full $20 game credit used towards the purchase, thus making the "lightning deal" only 7.99 off. However, I went through with it and emailed amazon, assuming that they'll give me the $10 credit back. They're usually pretty understanding.

I hope.
 
I was a little disappointed in the ACII discount offered but decided to pull the trigger, as I had the $40 GH5 bundle credit from this weekend. I figure the game'll be worth $9.98.

It better be. ;)
 
Well. We still got ToV and SO:TLH coming up. If ToV is on par with the $15 DOTD, I'm happy and if SO:TLH is around ~$20 I'd jump on that too.

Edit: For those who are trying get their $10-$20 promo on hold so it doesn't mess with you lightning deal discount, pre-order the PSP version of LEGO Harry Potter. Just from a quick 3 minute search, that's the lowest pre-order I was able to find to apply my $20 MW2 promo. Just a heads up.
 
I would've grabbed AC2 if it was 10 bucks cheaper. Watch the Limited Edition bundle of the latest installment in a classic series will be NBA 2K10.
 
Got Cabela for $24, like those type of games for some reason.

Still bummed I missed NFS.

Also, for those who got MC:LA for $10, keep it, still a good game. The Complete edition shouldn't change that!

stupid question time!

I've never really been into fighting games to the point where I buy the sticks, but are all fighting sticks generally the same? I mean, I have MvC2 and SC4 on 360, and if the tekken 6 bundle is another $30 deal, I'll def bite. So what i'm asking is will the tekken 6 stick work well with other fighting games? or solely with tekken?
 
well lets hope the bundle they offer is amazing--then we will be complaining about not getting the deal instead of not liking the deals.

Everyone who bought Midnight Club LA: You can get everything in the Complete Edition for less than buying the Complete Edition. You got the game for $10, now go buy the DLC for $10. The Complete Edition retails for $30.
 
I was able to get Midnight Club LA and think it will be worth it since I have a few games on backorder, and it might be better to have a shorter game. The last Midnight Club game I played was DUB Edition and remember it being fun.
