Hi CAGs,

I'll be posting deals we're running on Digital Games (PC/Mac, Free to Play, Sony/Microsoft Points/Subs).

I'm also here to answer questions you might have, get you closer to the developers by hosting Q&As, setting up podcasts, live streaming gameplay etc. If I don't respond to a question you have in thread please send me a PM. These ping my email address and make it more likely that I will see your question and respond more quickly.

F.A.Q.S.:

1. Does the game I'm buying from Amazon Activate on Steam/Origin/Uplay? What DRM does the game use?

There are two places to identify DRM on a digital video game detail page:

At the top of the page, below the title:

16hm7a8.png

In the "Product Description" section:

r06ykl.jpg

2. Note on Electronic Arts Games - For the most part, EA games sold on Amazon do not activate on Steam. Most activate on Origin.

3. Note on DRM with limited activations:

Our Policy

4. Sometimes I'll do giveaways.

5. I work with developers and publishers to get fun (or at least what I think is fun) content to share with you all. Here are some examples:

a. Check out the Pax Gameplay videos here: Xcom: Enemy Unknown I played Xcom with Jake, the Creative Director for the game, a few months before the game came out Also, on this page, check out the Q&A, also a community driven event.

b. Check out the interview on this page: Borderlands 2 we did this interview at E3 with Randy Pitchford this year.

c. We've partnered with the ++GoodGames Podcast to feature many of the games we carry. They talk to the developers about the game development process, how the games are conceptualized and managed, all kinds of fun stuff. I'm working on putting together full link list and will update when I have it.

What else do we sell?

Xbox Live Points and Subscriptions:

1600 Microsoft Live Points
4000 Microsoft Live Points
12 Month XBOX Live Subscription
3 Month XBOX Live Subscription]
12 Month + 1 XBOX Live Subscription

PSN+ Subscriptions and PSN Points:

$20 PSN Points
$50 PSN Points
12 Month PSN+ Subscription
3 Month PSN+ Subscription

We also have a Free-2-Play store supported by our GameConnect technology. Gameconnect allows you to link your Amazon.com account with free-2-play and MMO accounts so that you can buy things like in game currency, premium game time/subscriptions, in game items, etc. on Amazon.com using your Amazon.com payment options and have this content delivered directly into your game.

Oh hey Tony is here,

Not to be pushy Pete but the Warlock DLC prices haven't dropped to 50% yet. No rush, but I know you're busy so just a friendly reminder~
I don't even think it's on Amazon. Even still Tony said they don't match Flash sales so probably not vote sales, either.
Thanks for the reminder, I'll try and get this done tonight, I'm still setting up the new promo and will be testing at midnight PST so it will happen after that.

Cheers,
Tony

Thank you, I hate to be 'that guy' who doesn't shut up about something. I'm on the edge of my seat on what the new promo will be!

Just checking. My amazon account says i have $78 in software / video game credit. That can only be used toward PC DD titles right?

where do you check that?
I've only noticed one user's posts getting deleted while waiting for the prices to flip so I can buy, start the installs, and go to bed.
Who?

This probably isn't what you're referring to, but it explains my reaction to Bridget's post well enough.
Alright, thanks!

It's complicated, unfortunately. I had to go to my amazon instant video library. Click on an episode of a show, then.... nevermind this should work

EDIT:

....or not. Go to a video, then click "view balance"
How is that credit calculated? It says I have:

SOFTWARE/
VIDEO GAMES
$119.88

But I don't know how I got that much. I don't think I've bought that many games during this $5 promotion.

I think the F2P promo stuff we've been getting is being calculated there.
...What if we don't have any videos?
You don't need to have a video, you can just go to any video purchase page and there is a button/link that lets you see what you have available for credit.

Does anyone know what the Max Payne Season pass includes? Does it include ALL dlc or just some, the steam store page says something about a discount so does that stack with the other dlc?

Trying to decide if I want to buy one or two copies when the price goes live. GF wants one for sure, and I'm on the fence, since I wasn't too impressed with it on the Wii U.

not sure.... I've actually been meaning to ask where exactly this credit comes from and what it applies to. Wouldn't want to get my hopes up or anything....

The Season Pass includes all DLC for Max Payne. The discount mentioned is the cost of buying the season pass versus buying all of the dlc seperately.

Screen cap to illustrate where the link is..
Keep in mind the DLC for Max Payne is all multiplayer (and the multiplayer isn't that populated).
I dont know who you are, but you have a certain set of skills with screen caps. I will click that, and I will find my approximate balance....

I apparently have 70 dollars in video game credit and 20 dollars in video credit and I have never purchased a downloadable video from amazon ever.

How does one *use* all this lovely credit?
