I had RE4 XB1 preordered via Prime. It was $19.99 minus the 20% discount. I just received an email that said I saved $2 from their price guarantee since they dropped the price to $17.99. But they didn't discount the $17.99 price the 20%. They subtracted $2 to make it $15.99.

The Prime guarantee is off list price, not Amazon price, IIRC.

20% comes off the original price, not sale price (like Best Buy). So if a $60 game goes on sale for $50 and you paid $48, the prime discount will drop it to $48 (and not $40).

MSRP minus 20% is Amazon's way.
