What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

Is a $74 polar white DS Lite a decent deal? It's listed as acceptable. I dunno I ordered one though just because I want one by tomorrow for a solid price.

Edit: Doh I forgot you cant use promotional credit (only regular gc credit) at warehouse deals so I just paid $25 in cash more for it than I had expected. Oh well lol

Take your time it actually shows 6 available and none have sold since I ordered mine so obviously not the hottest deal out there. Not worried about the deal really though more just the condition it'll show up in. I'm sure I'll just end up selling it in a month when the 3DS comes out anyway. As long as I can get $50 or so for it I'm good.

I ordered an Ultimate Sith Edition a couple weeks ago and had no problems. I got all the inserts and everything was in very good condition. The inserts had very light wear on them but that is expected on most used products.

The one I got did not have the collector's card in it, and the case itself was fairly scratched...still contemplating if I want to keep it or not.
 
:whee: I just got my Black Friday PS3 bundle about 30 minutes ago. Uncharted 2, Karate Kid are still sealed and the Pixeljunk Shooter voucher was still in the baggie with the one manual.

The console itself looks like it was never removed from the package, same deal with the controller(which has no charge on it) and the cables for the console.

I'm testing out the console now by loading up GTA IV on it and I'll probably play it for an hour or three to give it a real definitive test.

But one thing that ALWAYS has bugged me bout the PS3's is that the consoles are missing about HDD space right outta the box. This one has 130 out of 149 gb's available on a 160gb HDD.

I'll probably also sign in with my main PSN account on this one to be sure it's not banned from the Playstation Network somehow.

Even better is this console has FW 3.42. ;) So I might just keep this as my offline console since I hate most of the crap Sony has added since 2009.
 
HDD space is lesser because of partitions and other hidden space that's already used by the OS. It's common knowledge if you are a PC fanatic.

Received my Xbox 360 4gb Slim today. The box was a little beat up, but the system, cables and controller had all been unwrapped and put back together, but it feels, looks, and plays brand new. I definitely like the slim much better than the old design.
 
So far so good with this BF bundle from Amazon. I'm doing the 3.56 update now, since it's unfortunately REQUIRED to be able to even attempt logging onto PSN.

I just wanna make sure this thing isn't banned or something before I decide if I'm gonna give my 120gb PS3 to my one buddy and keep this one.
 
I received my 4 gb kinect bundle on Monday...pretty fast considering i ordered it just 3 days earlier, a Friday afternoon at that. It was listed Like New. The xbox box was packaged inside of a much larger box filled with brown paper.....The xbox box was a little beaten up, so I was a little apprehensive to open it up after reading some of the horror stories with the ps3s on here. Only negative was that, everything inside was quite dusty, but nothing a quick wipe down couldn't fix. Hooked everything up and everything worked fine....it was however used as the previous owner had several arcade trial games installed. The Kinect adventure game was opened, but was in excellent shape. I'm glad I waited a few days to write this review, as the first day I had it set up, (in the same location of my old arcade), the system was running just as loud as my old xbox, which was quite frustrating.....it turns out, the surface I had it standing up on, wasn't completely flat, which caused the system to run louder?...which is strange, because I never had a problem with my old xbox, so I just moved it and put it on a shelf within my entertainment center, only reason I didn't have it on a shelf before was because i was afraid my old xbox would possibly overheat if it was confined within the entertainment center, so I always just had it to the side of the entertainment center, on top of a bookcase unit right next to it, that way it could also be standing up and get better ventilation. Also, the slim does appear to run a little warmer then my arcade did, but it is much quieter, not "whisper" quiet though. All in all, I am quite happy with the purchase, but must say I don't think I would order a console again from warehouse deals....yea it was a little cheaper, but not by much considering amazon has previously offered $40-$50 gift cards with purchase, which after you take those into consideration, the price I paid, $232.99, really wasn't that much cheaper....I was just impatient and didn't want to wait for the next gift card offer.

It's probably not the previous owner who installed the Arcade games. Microsoft usually preintalled some Arcade game on the hard drive.

Really? Mine came from the Harrisburg(PA) warehouse, which must handle Warehouse Deals as well.

I'm still testing my PS3 from the bundle, but it looked like new and I had to do all of the usual set up steps like you would with a new system, so I'm thinking someone just changed their mind once they received this.

The controller didn't even have a charge on it.:)

Just signed into PSN using my current log-in info, which if GS didn't do the full restore like they were supposed to after I traded my 40gb then this makes my fourth console with my sign-in info on it.:cry:

That's what I did before trading in the 40gb PS3, but I also went through and deleted most everything I had on the console. But I didn't do the full formatting.:cry::whistle2:#

The formatting doesn't affect your PSN account. As long as you deactivated the system before you traded it in it won't count towards one of your active accounts.

OK. Time to shut this new system down and decide if I'm putting it in mothballs till I need it or making it my new system and giving my current 120gb slim to my one buddy to use.:D
 
Anyone happen to have Myst (PS1)? I just got it in the mail today from AWD and it isn't working right with my PS3. There is horrible background noise that shouldn't be there. I noticed this once before with another PS1 game but it only happened once. It seems to always happen with Myst. The disc looks like it was badly scratched before AWD resurfaced it. It probably could use some more buffing, but I'm not sure if this is a disc problem or a PS3 emulation problem. It does seem to load fine other than the background noise.

I could hook up an old PS2 to test, but it would be great if someone here had the game and knew if it worked right on PS3.

edit: finally found somewhere with some info and it sounds like it is a known emulation problem:
"Throughout playback of various logo FMV`s, the audio plays overlapped by distortion."

OT: No one answered my original question of whether or not the MvC3 Special Edition had any actual value. Was I stupid for biting on it for $70 @ Target with a $25 GC?

The Special Edition will probably increase in value over time. But there are a lot of resellers out there right now. You could probably make a 10 to 20 dollar profit.

I really doubt the MVC3 SE will retain its value. Most people bought it for the artbook that came with the two free DLC character codes. Once these characters get released on the 15th it's doubtful anyone would pay more than the value of the standard edition.

1) What do you mean "you people?" J/K I didn't hoard the hell out of this game. I actually collect steelbooks, so 2 of the 4 copies that I purchased were for my own collection (1 PS3 and 1 360). I bought extras hoping to offset the cost of the ones I bought. That might not make me any better in your eyes, but I don't consider myself to be that instrumental in you having to get a copy from your friend LOL

2) I think there was a strand of fabric separating that signature from full on nudity LOL

I ordered a brand new PS3 slim and it says it will be delivered tomorrow but on the tracking, it is still in Oakland, CA and still has 600 miles plus to get to my destination...im getting a bit worried that it will just sit there all night. you guys think fedex is able to travel does 600 miles in one day?
