F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

And I'm looking for the :360: version for the same price. Unfortunately, they have their 58 copies listed at $28.99.
grabbed a Kinect at 113.99, hopefully the condition is truly "like new"
I imagine it will be. My $96 was described as very good and it literally looked like someone opened the package, didn't even touch the Kinect, opened up Adventures, then repackaged it and sent it back.

I have been debating on getting a kinect. None of the games out right now seem to great. I also looked at upcoming games and there are a few cool looking ones such as the kinect star wars but I don't see many other games that look great. Maybe I am missing something. Is there other games coming out that make the kinect worth buying? Thanks

IMO Dance Central has been worth the price of admission alone. If you can get one for $113 why not if you have the cash? You'll have one for the future games, and you'll pretty much always be able to get your money back should you decide to sell.

Agreed, Dance Central is the only game really worth buying, I believe. I'm enjoying it, though I wish my room were a little bigger. If you don't have at least 8ft from the TV/Kinect sensor, don't bother.

Kinect Sports says otherwise. Fantastic game.

Just got a package containing my first PS1 games from the warehouse. I am a bit disappointed because like new for PS1 apparently does not mean the same as like new for newer games. I bought Metal Gear solid and Final Fantasy chronicles. Both cases are cracked and far from like new condition. Other than the case they were fine though. Also a bit disappointed a PS3 game that was like new did have a slit in the front of the case. Oh well.

My wife, both of our fam, and I enjoy Kinect Sports (very Wii like but fun nonetheless - especially for the non-gamers) and Dance Central! My in-laws loved the Kinect so much after I brought mine over that they bought a bundle the next week.

^this.

8ft seems to be a good rule. Although it seemed strangely at around 6ft at my in-laws.

You could probably get a partial refund if anything from amazon.

Amazon doesn't really ship PS1 games very well - The case was probably fine before they shipped the game out. I have received countless PS1 games with cracked cases from Warehouse Deals. It wouldn't be worth my time to address it with Amazon for every time this has happened. I guess there's no way to know whether the cases were cracked before or after shipment, but they seem to think that just throwing a PS1 game inside a very thin piece of cardboard is enough protection. Sometimes they put them in bubble mailers with equally bad results.

My PSP was listed as very good and didn't even look used. I assume the GOW game DLC is unused as well because it was in that package that comes with all the instructions and was unopened.

Picked up a PS3 Move Starter Bundle for $72.99 ($79.65 after taxes, thx for nothing stupid New York) in like new condition. Won't be in stock till the 19th tho. Now waiting on a DSI XL for cheap....

I got my Silver 360 Controller with Play 'n Charge today. The controller itself seems untouched, but for some reason the plastic casing that held it inside the cardboard was upside down. Hell, that's probably why it ended up in Warehouse Deals for $20 off, anyway. I love Warehouse Deals. :D

^Thanks for the black controller heads up!

when did you pick this? I have been keeping an eye on this myself but haven't found one yet :(

I'll have to keep an eye out for a Kinect sensor again. I contacted Ensenda who tells me

"After speaking with the carrier, the driver believes this was delivered to the front door of the correct location. "

Yeah, I very often forget where my front door is :p

Amazon issued a refund since they couldn't reship one. I'll have to wait until another one shows up on the site..

DanceMasters would like to have a word with you. I much prefer it to Dance Central, but I'm also a Bemani player/paralist.
Dance Central comes on when people are over, but I always go right to DanceMasters.

Plus, DM has 2-player simultaneous play and 4-player online, something DC sorely lacks.

They come up at more than you think. Too bad the driver "believes" he did something or someone swiped it at your door. =/

Man I've been checking everytime I got a chance and finally saw it come up today at around 7:20pm.
And.. I missed it. That's what I get for going to the bathroom. Heh.
It was actually in stock for a long time, since before seven at least.

saw the black controller a little earlier -- didn't want to pay $21 though since they were selling them for $19 last weekend.
