F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

Ok so Warehousedeals.com -> Just Arrived -> Video games? Is that how you guys are going about finding the newest deals that just pop up? Cause it always looks like the same exact items on that page to me. And it's always 96 items.

I just keep the few games I'm looking for cheap favorite placed and open a new browser tab every so often to check for stock. Just by typing up part of the name of the game it brings up my saved page for it, then I select it and it takes me right to the AWD page for it.:D

That reminds me that I can delete the LBP GOTY one now.

Most of the deals that get posted a lot- Kinect, PS3s, Move, Red Wii, etc- are normally found by sorting the Warehouse Deals Video Games from High to Low, but are also found by just going to the product's page and looking at the Used sellers.

Everything else is probably found by just random browsing of the selection.
Do ALL the video games that come from the warehouse come without any scratches on the disc?
I've gotten one that has a scratch out of like only 3 I've ordered so far...I'm happy with how the discs look so far.
Do ALL the video games that come from the warehouse come without any scratches on the disc?
amazon seems to have one hell of a good resurfacing machine, so normally their games (atleast every game i have gotten) is flawless and looks as if it was just opened for the the first time (..... the disc anyway) just my experience anyway
What is the difference between RE5 and RE5 CE PS3?
The Gold Edition has more MP stuff/costumes, and 2 DLC episodes/levels that are included on the disc. A better deal if you can get it cheap.

He said CE not gold edition. CE isn't worth it to be honest doesn't any have DLC only has a steelbookcase and some other stuff you won't use.

Alright thanks for your help guys, I have like 12 tabs of PS3 games open right now ready to be refreshed every couple minutes lol. I'm really having to think hard about just going ahead and getting Demon's Souls for $17.99 new.

Why would you have so many tabs open?

I assume he or she is waiting for when a used copy of whatever they want appears and they will be the first to get it.

I noticed brotherhood on PS3 for $35 is now gone and replaced with a copy for $36..

I just bought my PS3 a couple days ago and have zero games for it. I have a bunch I want to buy so I'm hoping the Warehouse deals pull through and I can get a few off of there. Although Best Buy is having a Buy 2 get 1 free next week from the looks of it, so I might just do that.

You could do that, but that comes out to 3 games for $40 each(if buying 3 $59.99 games).

What games are you mainly looking for for the PS3? I ask because you may want to also consider the CAG trading forum/marketplace as someone on here may have a deal on a gently used copy.

Yeah the BB thing definitely isn't ideal, but I think checking the Warehouse Deals constantly has the potential to be a bit maddening lol. My working list at the moment is:
-God of War III / God of War Collection
-Both Uncharteds
-Madden 11
-Need for Speed Hot Pursuit
-Call of Duty Black Ops
-Possibly both Ratchet and Clanks
-Infamous
-Demon's Souls
That's all I can think of at the moment...I have one of those monthly fee Blockbuster passes where I can rent any game for as long as I want and then go in and exchange it at any time, so I'll probably just go ahead and rent at least a few of the single player games and beat those to save money (Ratchet and Clanks and Infamous probably).

And yeah, trading might be something I look in to...cause I've had an Xbox 360 practically since launch date, so I have a bunch of relatively older games (that I never play anymore) that I could probably easy trade for some of the older PS3 games on my list like Uncharted 1, Infamous, and the first Ratchet and Clank.

Had you looked into getting a PS3 before Black Friday, you could've picked up the original Uncharted from Toys R' Us for $6. Although it was the red case greatest hits version. TRU has now jacked the price back up to $29.99 for it.

Moreover, you could've bought God Of War III and both Ratchet & Clank games during the recent Blockbuster BOGO sale, as they're all $14.99 and under. If you don't mind paying $15 each, they're still that price at BBV if you can find them there. But I know you said you would prefer new copies of the games. However PS3 games are pretty tough thanks to that scratch resistant coating on them, so the chances of getting a scratched up PS3 game are slim.

Demon's Souls is $20 new at Gamestop now, so you could get a copy there for just $3 more than the used one on AWD.

I'm currently watching an auction on ShopGoodwill.com for Uncharted 2. It was at about $11 or so(with $9 shipping:bomb:) when I last checked. It's a new/sealed copy from Target, as you can still see the Target clearance sticker on it. I already have the game but I figured it'd make good trade fodder on here.

I have Black Ops and I'll likely be done playing through it in a few more days if you wanted to grab it from me for like $30 shipped or so. However it does have at least several small scratches that I noticed. It was originally smudged up like crazy when I got it from Gamestop a few days ago.

As for the rest I don't think I've seen deals on most of those anywhere. Although you may want to see if any stores by you still have the Dual Shock 3/ inFamous combo pack from last year, since it's a good way to get a GH game for MSRP and a controller for $30 as the combo pack is $60 total.

Blockbuster has God of War III used for $14.99 if you can find it. Everything I read in the BBV thread pointed to most stores having crap loads of God of War, and mine did too. Obviously not as awesome a deal without the B1G1 free in effect, but still not too shabby a price.

ESA Value Pack at GameStop is a decent deal at $29.99 if you have a faint interest in Tomb Raider or Mercenaries.

And if you're interested in a second controller, perhaps look into the DS3 Holiday 2010 bundle packs for $59.99 (if you don't mind the color of the controller.) Believe it's red controller/GoW Collection, blue controller/R&C:Crack in Time or black controller/LBP GOTY.

What are some of the commonly seen PS1 games that come up? I bought Wild Arms 2 before, and they had Chrono Cross today like new for $9.99 but someone else bought it first.

Not sure if they're really common, but FF: Anthologies and Chrono Trigger (the 2-pack) was up for $12 the other day.

There's been others as well. The same copies of Need for Speed: V-Rally 2 and Test Drive 5 have been up for a while (months).

I noticed Hoshigami for $30, but another vendor had a complete like new copy for $14, fulfilled by Amazon. I think WWF Warzone has been there at $1.99 for a while, too.

Better still, Demon's Souls is currently $15 (with free shipping) at Newegg.

Quite a few PS1 games go up. FFVII was up very briefly yesterday. Both VIII, IX, and Tactics are still available. Metal Gear Solid is available. There are a lot of PS1 games on the warehouse. I've seen Crash Bandicoot a few times recently. I'd guess there are about 40 PS1 games available right now.

Holy shit I love Amazon Prime. Ordered Super Street Fighter IV like about five or so hours ago and literally an hour ago I get a shipping notice.

I love Prime too. I got the free year for having a student email account and I don't know if I can go back to being Pimeless.

Same. I Am dreading when late August rolls around already.

Received my PS3 320GB + Move Bundle yesterday. Was listed in "Very Good" condition, but the box was hardly even scratched. The system and other contents were still wrapped and in perfect condition!

Not bad for $235 (including a $50 Amazon credit I applied)! Only cost me $80 out of pocket after I sold my old PS3.

Silver new dpad controller and 2 copies of BFBC2UE were all brand new.

Silver controller is sexy. My wife immediately grabbed it and asked why I didn't buy more of them to replace all of our controllers.

The warehouse deals are too popular now. People don't let the prices drop low enough before buying. I was waiting for the wii to drop some more but someone bought it for $133. There not going to put the wii at $100 if people are willing to pay a lot more.

:applause: But some stuff you just have to grab before it gets snapped up, since some of it is just too cheap to pass up and hope for a much cheaper price(aka :ps3:Little Big Planet GOTY for $14 shipped last night;)).

And yet the Wiis were $65 on there at one point.

Anywho, I want a silver controller with the dpad. I had one ordered at $38 and cancelled, now that I have some credit it's time to bite. But, I can't do it for $45 on a new one. Hopefully another pops up.

i saw that 133 black wii, and i have been really wanting one, but i have games on ps3 that i havent touched at all. I think that by the time i actually feel I should buy one, the wii would have another pricedrop
WTH? Why is Silent Hill 2's TiV 30?
Thanks for pointing that out. GameStop shows that one local store has it in stock so I locked in the TIV and will see if they have it there. It is only the greatest hits version trading for $30 though.

Still, that's crazy. I might have to see if a local GS has 3 and use my unused B2G0F coupon. Wonder why it's 30 though. Hmm...
