F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

I picked up a like-new copy of Eternal Sonata for PS3 for $13.99. I had wanted to play this when it came out, and it got lost in the shuffle. Then the upgraded PS3 version released, so I didn't want to go back and bother with the old X360 version. Now that I have a PS3, I figured I may as well pull the trigger on a title that $27.99 used at Gamestop, and is mildly difficult to find.

Thoughts on the game and/or price?

Also debating on picking up Monster Hunter Tri for ~$19...

It's available from HubbaGames (fulfilled by Amazon) for 16.99 new. I haven't played it personally, so i'd be interested in some thoughts as well.
It's a very mediocre RPG. Not terrible, but nothing great really.
I loved it to death. Played through it and again on the Save Game+ mode on 360 version to get all the secrets and extras (and achievements). Not a huge amount of secrets to find (though you'll need a walkthrough if you want to get all the trophies), but what did it for me was that battle system leveled up and changed through the game as well. The parts about Chopin's history were kinda different too.

also disagree. only played the ps3 version but enjoyed it. gameplay can be frustrating... surprisingly difficult at times. but it has a creative/interesing battle system and some nice art in the game. perhaps some bias involved as I really like chopin

I have seen a stack of sealed Eternal Sonata's for PS3 show up at my local Best Buy for $19.99. Obviously, not as good a deal as $16.99, but if people want some options, there could be some at their local Best Buy as well.

Just to clarify on this, in case it matters to trophy hunters, but I do not believe Eternal Sonata has trophies.
i should complain about my ps3 controller was opened
Yeah, because you know.. a PS3 controller having been opened, and a completely missing product from the box are completely the same thing.

My BF PS3 Bundle is going to arrive today. I'm quite nervous on what I might actually be missing. The system comes with the console, the controller, a USB device (to charge the controller I assume), connection cables, a DVD, Uncharted, and a voucher for a DLC. Anything else that I didn't know about?

Funny how my HDMI cable that shipped a full on week before the ps3, will be here a week later. XD

just fyi, sony doesn't include a usb charger/device. the ps3 includes a standard usb/mini usb cable that plugs into the controller and the other end to a powered usb port on your ps3, pc, etc. to charge your controller

i was completely joking

Just got in my $224.99 xbox360 4gb with kinect. As far as I can tell this is all pretty much brand new. Everything came in it, and the Kinect Adventures wasn't opened. I'm very happy with this purchase. Thanks in big part to the AWD thread. Keep it up.

My $224.99 Like-New PS3 Black Friday bundle came today.

The box was resealed and slightly scuffed, but everything inside was mint, with the game, bluray and download code still sealed.

I'm pretty satisfied.

My $227 Xbox 360 Holiday bundle arrived today. The box had minimal damage, inside everything was packed very well. Heck, the only things that were open were the console itself and the power brick. Forza 3 was sealed and the alan wake code wasn't used. I am very impressed!

My BF PS3 bundle came in today. I have to say, everything seems brand new. The uncharted was open, but no scratches or fingerprints. Karate kid was sealed. I even had the usb cord that a few people earlier said they were missing. Heck, the box even looks new. No scuffs or anything.

I'm waiting for something to go wrong lol, but hoping everything will be fine.

My Like New 4GB 360 slim for $148.99 is coming tomorrow. I ordered on Monday and it said it would ship out on on the 15th but I was pleasantly surprised to get an email saying it is shipping today! Will update with the condition tomorrow. Crossing fingers.
James Bond 007: Blood Stone for $21.99. Good deal?
Hell no that game is the worst glitched game i played to date. The online is the part i am talking about it is the worst! Then the achievements wow good luck getting the online ones when the medals glitch so often and do not count for efficency ones and specialist. I completed all the online stuff and it was a nightmare and would not recommend my worst enemy to even try doing it.

The single player is amazing and a super blast to play. If you are into getting all achievements or playing multiplayer mostly then this is a bad choice. Get only for the single player and trust me the price for this game will be even cheaper cause there is a bug to be able to let you kick people out of the lobby on ranked matches. Me and a friend found out about it and he actually posted it... So now i will not go on for fun now to many people kicking me....

I play games to complete them. I don't care about achievements, trophies, online play, any of that stuff so i'm leaning towards picking this up for $21 and trading it back in for $19. Very tempting - thanks for responding, man.
James Bond 007: Blood Stone for $21.99. Good deal?
I actually really enjoyed the game. It's not the most polished game ever, but it was pretty fun for what it's worth. If you enjoyed QoS, even though this is a different style (gameplay-wise), they are both very familiar / alike in terms of how they play out.

The driving sections are some of the best, even thought the A.I. really rubber-bands you, however, they look gorgeous and play nice and fluidly (that's Bizarre Creations at work!), but sometimes it can be very hard to tell where to go.

If it reminds me of any other games in recent memory, I'd have to compare it a bit to Alpha Protocol (if you've played it). It's definitely not a bad game, and I was happy when I purchased it for roughly $28 about a month or two ago; but it does have it's nagging issues, as do most games. It definitely could have used more time / polish, and the end of the game is seriously a ".... what? That's it? ..... really?!" type of thing, but for roughly $22, I'd personally recommend it. So-long as you're not a gamer who over-analyzes everything, you can get some real enjoyment out of it.

Plus, if you don't like it, go trade it back in for $19. Either way, you're good.

I ordered a Kinect Sports, but honestly looking through the game list...it just doesn't look fun to me. I know people say that it is, and at $24 I'm stupid not to, but I dunno. I just can't pull the trigger. Haven't been playing much of anything lately. I absolutely loved Dance Central, but I've only managed to play it probably 3 hours total since the Kinect came out.

Anyone else ever get this way?

Score! Now I can use my Kinect for something other than Video chat! Thank you, my man! Even if it sucks, I can have it collect dust at that price and not feel too bad about it...anywhere near $50, fuggetaboutit!

Fun game if you like Bond. It is basically the Bourne video game combined with Splinter Cell: Conviction. Its a short game and took me ~5 hours to complete.

Kinect Sports is great... you guys are lucky I bought it for $44 at Target last week. Needed something besides Adventures to play on my shiny new Kinect.

Kinect Sports is really fun. People like Dance Central a lot and I have both, but I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed Sports. A lot of really fun mini games in addition to the main sports.

i wish we had the amazon warehouse thread broken down........hardware, games based on console, etc.........

find myself missing alot of deals cuz they're buried.
I hope they don't cancel my order.
If your order went through, you should be good. Congrats on scoring yourself a copy!
fucking awesome price, but they're all gone
I bought one, but cancelled it... Didn't like the first one, so it'll probably come back.
If your order went through, you should be good. Congrats on scoring yourself a copy!
Thanks, I hope! Almost pulled the trigger on 39.99 but glad I waited if this goes through :)

Looks like they got scooped up real fast. I went ahead and did the Amazon Visa w/ $30 rebate. I may as well use some kind of rewards card based on everything I get from Amazon. So, technically, they paid me $1.01 to take Dead Space 2 off their hands. :whistle2:D

Speaking of dead space 2, I'm playing it right now. Roads are icy so working from home for the first time. No emails yet, so seeing as I'm force to stick beside my computer...

Lol that perfectly described me quite a few days for me the last few weeks. Yay snow everywhere making time for DS2.

I hate to say this because I've always been optimistic in this thread, but I just don't think there are any silver 360 controllers coming back in :/
