F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

Damn I just missed a very good 320GB Move Bundle for $244.99. I quick added it to cart and checked out but by the time I hit place order it was gone. :bomb:
im thinkin about buying a cold air intake for my car off AWD anyone have any experience with buying anything like that? Item condition is listed as like new, item may come repackages, package may show signs of wear
If it's cheap enough, why not? You can always return it if it's not in the condition you thought it was in. Could have been some guy who bought it and didn't know how to install it and returned it... But I don't see how you can't install am intake it's pretty simple

Off topic, but yeah I would never buy a used CAI, or chance it if it WAS a repackage. You'll probably notice a slight increase in performance when you accelerate since its sucking in the colder air. I would try to make sure you're placing the air intake in a spot where good air flow gets to it, alot of them actually just have ur air filter right by the engine defeating the purpose. (I've seen some people remove a foglight and put the filter in the open spot.) \http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cold_air_intake

i bought that $28.99 12 month xbox live card (actually, i bought 2, and one got canceled... i assume they only had 1) got it today and i am having a hard time figuring out why it was sold on amazon warehouse and not just amazon.... its brand new in the clam shell packaging, no marks, bends, stickers, or anything.... weird, but ill take it :) thanks whoever posted that deal.

I'm not liking that more and more systems are in 'acceptable' condition. :( I was about to jump on a dslite (for a cousin) but I'm not sure how I feel about almost all of them being in 'acceptable' condition.
Acceptable usually means new, more often than not around here. It's the like new that you have to worry about. Seriously.
Thanks for the quick response, I'll take a chance on one since I'll be paying wiht credit. :)

Tons of Acceptable GBA games just put up. Sucks browsing them now since I really only want complete games.. And man they put Zelda for SNES up for $36.99. When I bought this Like New of AWD it was only $19.99 lol.

I picked up a Like New Dragon Warrior III game for GBC. It wasn't cheap at $32.99, but looks like it is very rare to find complete. I'm sure it will come smashed though especially since I recently ordered a couple other games. I'm sure they will combine them in one box :(

There is a copy of Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap Like New that I'd order if I didn't think it would come smashed.

i be shocked if it really came COMPLETE ...
i be shocked if it really came COMPLETE ...
I guess you should be shocked then. Every like new game comes complete including game boy games (edit: well they might be missing any inserts that come with the game other than the manual if you are unlucky). I've gotten several. The major downside is they are TERRIBLE at packing them and they almost always get a little crushed in shipping.

Anyone want Donkey Kong Country for SNES? Its on AWD for ONLY $76.99 in acceptable condition!

Xbox 360 HD DVD Player (Extremely cheap movies) $49.99
http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-HD-D...77EE7U53NWQ&s=merchant&qid=1300402998&sr=1-13
Dropped to $44.99.

The World Ends With You DS $10.99 (Down from $13.99)
Seattle Mariners LE DS Lite $91.99 (Not much of a deal, but fairly LE)
Kind of spendy, unless it truly is in "like new" shape.

I'm always amazed when I see older gen games on Amazon Warehouse. Do people trade them in? How does Amazon get them?
Trade in's.
Those have been showing up nonstop the last day.. Just keep your eyes on the page.
I hope some more pop up. I guess with the increased sales from the Move bundle being $350 they will probably have more returns. I will keep checking. Only took a week of constant checking to get a 360 4GB like new for $148.99 so hopefully this is the same way.
"Acceptable" SFIV :360: Tournament Edition Stick for $84.99.

Any experience with what an acceptable controller looks like? Might be worth a shot for someone to try.
Probably the one I traded in. I only used it two nights and decided to go for a TE stick on AWD since it was about the same as buying the parts and modding it myself. If it's the one I traded it's complete.

I thought you traded in a SE stick and not the TE stick? I'm confused.

Whats the turn around for something traded in/returned?

Man, I FINALLY got a PSP Go charging cradle for cheap ($10.99). I've been scanning this item for so long waiting for it to get in the right price range.

Now I can play Monster Hunter and Peace Walker on my TV with a controller while my PSP stays charged! It does claim "acceptable" condition though and I've never bought anything so low on the scale.

Alright... admission time. While I still can't stand UPS, and as a corporate entity they really irk me; the guy working at the customer service was pretty cool. He was prompt, friendly, and thanked me for both calling in this afternoon, and for the "business". Gotta give credit where credit is due.

Anyhoo, as soon as I got in my car, I opened everything up. Original box was included, though it was beat to heck. I quickly realized the seals were busted, and I got nervous. Opened it up, and while the system was in the little "sleeve", it had marks and finger prints all over it. :whistle2:( Then I opened it up, and there were prints on the screen, and two terribly applied screen covers. I got a bit disappointed, and so I put it all away and drove home where there'd be better light.

Once home, I grabbed a lens cleaning wipe, and went to town. And now, it looks 99% brand new. It booted to a setup screen, and everything seems to be working great. I don't notice any dead/stuck pixels, either. So, while I still wanna give it a few days before making a final judgment; right now, I'm a pretty happy camper!

Thanks everyone who's listened to me rant and worry for the last couple days. I'll try to get back to deal posting again ;p ... Hey, if anyone wants to buy a sealed Mario Kart, lemme know ;p

doesnt come with a charger cable but it supports older psp chargers which is awesome

Oh, I misread that. I may end up buying that one and returning the 124.99 TE stick I bought

EDIT: Aaaaand bought. Gonna check that out, the 'like new' one I bought had a jacked up box. If this one comes in a jacked or no box and works, for $40 less I'll take it and put that towards my 3DS.

What is your problem with UPS? It sounds to me like you used to work there and got fired by them!

Glad it worked out, wasn't worth the risk to me. Remember when 12 month cards went for $28 from Buy.com on eBay's daily deal? Good times.

From the day you ship it, my average is 5 days.

UPS destroys packages, at least going to Florida. I've had 3 Amazon boxes arrive completely broken into pieces (Fiestaware china- Made in USA Woot Woot!) Amazon took care of it, and replaced them via FEDEX.
