What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

Yeah, you *typically* won't see much go up on the nights of Fri, Sat, and Sun.

You'll notice I'm posting here all the time during the week; but I tend to take a "break" on the weekends.

I was about to pick up Modnation Racers......

it was 16.99 and is now 18.99

Heavy Rain it was 21.99 now it is 24.99

Just cause 2 was 19.99 it is now 21.99

I dont care if its a few buck, im not gonna order until they are back they way they were. I didn't know the AWD was this strategic. Do prices fluctuate like this all the time? And here I was sitting back waiting to order until Monday.
 
got my star ocean international (ps3) today and it was sealed (not by manufacturer?...because there are bar code stickers on the case)

awesome condition for $15 regardless =)

I was thinking about picking that up but I have yet to play my copy of Resonance of Fate or FFXIII so my loss is your gain :applause:
 
I got my copy of Alpha Protocol which was listed as "Like New". It was still shrink wrapped but it also said "exclusive best buy weapons pack". I tried the code and it worked. Game really was like new.

i dislike this franchise because a few years ago i was in a gamestop and this little boy goes up to the counter and says "Do you have any NAHrooTOE games for under five dollars?". it made me hate everything currently popular to middle school kids.

How is that game if you're unfamiliar with Naruto? Is it a good game in general, or do you really need to know the show to appreciate the game?

Edit - Hey TraBuch, saw you on Gamefaqs. xD Did you get the FFXIII bundle? a 360 is worth having for those RPGs you mentioned, especially Lost Odyssey :D

You know, when I began teaching a few years ago I was of the mind that there would never be a good reason for a teacher to yell at or hit students. I figured that I could show my anger/disappointment/frustration in other ways, and I thought that it was important to show students that yelling and violence aren't good ways to solve problems.

Although I still don't yell or hit anyone (my state just officially banned paddling in schools...haha!), I can see why someone would. I am incredibly patient, but some of my students simply won't respond unless you yell at them. They repeat, day after day, the same irritating behavior, regardless of how many times I or someone tells them to stop and explains why. They interrupt me whenever I try to explain something, they get up out of their seats whenever they feel like it, and many of them simply don't do squat. Assigning homework is a total joke--I get maybe a 33% return on it.

In short, I like learning and helping others understand things more than I like kids. In fact, I have 7th graders this year and I never, ever want to teach kids that age again. 8th graders are OK, but 7th graders are, developmentally, in a strange place. They're babies one moment, rebellious the next, and then babies again.

Eh, I remember seeing in the first WD thread that the prices do indeed rise. I think it seemed like for a while, everything got more expensive and then gradually began falling again. I know a couple people in the first thread were keeping track of the cycle, but that was a while back.
 
Got my $102 "good" Hannah Montana PSP bundle and... It was unopened. The box was scuffed pretty badly, but it was sealed and everything is pristine. No dead pixels, nothing. Unfortunately, the Hannah Montana UMDs aren't in cases, but rather little sleeves marked Not For Resale, so I don't know if I'll actually be able to trade them in. Even if I can't though, $102 for a brand new PSP 3000 with a 2 gig memory stick is a pretty fantastic deal... even if it is lilac.

I was able to trade my stuff in @ gamestop from a bundle. I didn't bring in the sleeves and I believe they docked me $1 or $1.50 for not having a case per game.

I've thought about buying one of them. I don't think I would mind using a lilac colored PSP. I won't be playing it too much in public, but if I was, so fucking what? Yeah, it's purple, wanna fight about it?

But I just want a red/black or teal one soooo bad. I'll grab a HM PSP if I can't get a GoW/MGS one by May.

It's YMMV on whether or not they hit you with a refurb fee for not having a case. I traded in Invizimals and that stupid camera attachment from my Invizimals PSP and didn't get hit with a refurb fee.
 
Pretty lame considering I know some Gamestop stores that throw away many of their used cases to make space. I've seen one store that keeps their used PSP UMD's in a glass case and all of their used DS carts in another. If you trade in complete games to them they throw away the boxes. :roll:
 
I was able to snag a Green DSi Bundle on Thursday. I selected two day shipping, but it has yet to ship and the delivery estimate says the 29th. Is this a common thing, or is there a good chance I'm not getting the DS?

My order for a dualshock 3 took several days to process, but it eventually went through. As long as it doesn't say "cancelled," hold out hope, man!
 
just gave poor Jawan at Amazon CS the run around cause I didn't know you can't use promo credit on WHD stuff. :( Ooops. I made sure to tell him how great his service was -- hopefully a supervisor will read it.

Haha, yeah, I got the bundle. I actually bought it BEFORE making that topic but wasn't really positive if I wanted that bundle or one of the newer models. Decided to just say screw it and keep it.

And the game is AWESOME even if you hate Naruto (Like me) or know nothing about it. The fighting is pretty simple, but it's extremely fun and most of the boss fights are so epically cinematic.
 
I have a ps2 slim with a memo pack and 2 controllers that I want to sell. I also have about 15 games with varying degrees of condition (some are missing cases, manuals).

I know you guys have been looking for a ps2 slim so I ask you, whats a good price point to sell it at? I'm giving you guys a heads up so one of the CAGs can grab it.

You're not putting it up on AWD. You're selling it used through amazon marketplace, which has nothing to do with AWD or this thread.

Since I never bought from the Warehouse, I have a question: If the item says "like new", is it referring to the game CD or the whole thing (Box, Manual), because I really like my things to look as good as possible, and I wanted to get a couple "like new" games that I saw.
 
Everything.

It does come with an Amazon Warehouse sticker though, but it's pretty easy to peel off most of the time. If it leaves behind residue, Goo Gone ftw.

Amazon Warehouse Deals is usually pretty good in describing the condition of the entire set (box, case, manual, etc.) in my experience. They will usually note any defects within the product description after their typical "downloadable content and other promotional codes may have been redeemed" spiel.

In any case, you can always return the items if you don't think they fall under the "Like New" description.

If it says "like new" with the standard description (detailing that the DLC may be used, but everything else is included) then you're going to likely get a mint game.

If it says "like new" but the description only notes "item may come repackaged" then it may be repackaged (this seems to only apply to items with an exterior cardboard box like systems or large CEs).

Either way their return policy is stellar, takes like ten seconds to return.

whole thing. it will come resealed with a large white sticker on back of the game case
 
I ordered :wii: Punch Out and was satisfied that it came resealed (there's a used barcode sticker on the game case, so it's obviously a resealed game) but it's in great condition. Also, I did get :ps3: Enslaved but not K-Mart exclusive comic book included.
 
Hmm... All may not be quite so perfect in purple-PSP land. Turns out that it has the weird screen-border backlight issue. I don't think it's worth sending it back over, as other than that everything is great. What would the chances even be of getting one without any dead or stuck pixels AND with no screen-border issue from AWD? I'm guessing probably not great.

Any "pros" want to weigh in with thoughts?
