What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

A quick question for everyone.

This thread use to be 10x more active. I'm assuming it's not as busy now because Amazon has raised prices some. Is there anything i can do to help make the OP more organized, or anything i should add to it to improve it? (More links, Re-wiki, etc.) Open to suggestions. I feel like there is something we can do to make it easier for everyone to view deals in a faster way.
 
I know everyone hated the wiki before, but I think it could make it easier. Yes deals go quickly sometimes, but they often come back at the same price later so it could be nice to have an assortment of current deals in the OP. Other than that I am not really sure how to improve the thread. It seems pretty good, but it has been a lot less popular lately.

Seriously, it has nothing to do with this thread. AWD is nowhere near what it used to be. Unless you can somehow change the pricing system back to what it was last year, then AWD is dead.

I used to have five or six open orders at a time on my Amazon account thanks to AWD, but I haven't placed an order there in the last six months. It's a shame, really. I can still remember everyone getting $60 Wiis, $12 NSMB Wii, rare JRPGs for $15-$20.

Someone contact CheapyD and ungive them their award for best online used game retailer. I'm pretty sure this was the cause of the increase.

Also i am definitely considering Re wiki'ing the thread and trying it out for a while. Actually, i'm bored so i'm going to work on it right now. :whee:

Hopefully this wiki section will be successful, so people will be able to just check out the op for the best deals instead of having to browse through everything.

As suggested, and after thinking about it, i agree there probably isn't to much more i can add to the op to improve it, except for this wiki thing.
 
Originally wiki-ing was a terrible idea because deals always were happening. It feels like yesterday when we'd all be waiting for those Special Mario DSi XL's for $135 ;)

I wouldn't go THAT far. If you look at AWD prices on used games, and then go to the gamestop website and see their used games.. They're still better than gamestop, even with a power up card.

I don't think any of us are mistaking that GS>AWD...

This thread is dead b/c prices have sky rocketed at AWD... Sure they have some games are cheaper vs. their new game price but looks like Amazon adopted GS plan of only reducing used game prices by a few bucks. Hell, lately if a game is on sale, the used game price is much higher than the new game price.

Btw, I think getting the CAG award went straight to amazons head.
Price were jacked up within a few days of winning that award and contrary to hope/speculation, prices never came back down since.

Looks like the used game retailer crown is going to someone else this year!

I've gotten a couple pretty beat up games, but for the most part they're all right. I was able to return the duds for better ones, but I guess the reliability of Amazon is worth something to some people ;)

I just got like new condition copys of chrono trigger ds (will be on time for my 3ds purchase soon) and bulletstorm for 360. Both were 15.99 and my the total was around 33$ with free shipping. I think I got a good deal :)
 
There are still good deals to be had just not as many, and not (generally) as sweet. I still enjoy browsing now and then (but not everyday like I used to) and I still frequent this thread.

Oh, but the memories... *hugs my Mario Kart DSi XL* :p

What game? If you don't mind me asking... I doubt its the game in question but I know of at least one game that pretty much all copies do this... And that's Too Human. (There's a small section on Asgard that causes it... Its pretty random. Like 1 in a 1000 trips.)

So long story short. It might be the game and not just your copy.

That said, did you contact them and see about an exchange? (Personally, I love gohastings but that love is based upon free shipping on paperbacks and prices that amazon cannot touch.)

Ya but anyone can say that. Hell for all you know that is really my ebay seller account. Convenient that they switched names and such due to a restructure. Although that stores feedback does stop shortly after march 2011, so who knows. If they are just tacking onto a separate ebay store to look good they did their research.

Plus all the feedback is for things the store sells, and on the ebay seller page it says they are from Hong Kong (which is where they are from). Like I said I am not going to purchase anything, but it is possible they are legit. It is possible that they do sell bootlegs and the people buying them just don't know, thus the good feedback. Some of their items are very cheap, like $7 for phantom hour glass, but I still am not going to risk it.

I just got the last copys of Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box and picross 3d. The stupid thing is that I was 2 cents short of getting the free shipping so I had to add an old ass ps2 game to get it. Speaking of which is anyone interested in a copy of ncaa football 07 when I get it with my ds games ? Anyone ? Just make a single file line and make me your offers guys :)

Wow, those seem like some awesome prices for DOTW. I know Twilight Princess would be worth it and Killzone hasn't been out long, but I've already got both. :p So can anyone say if Bulletstorm is worth $16?
