F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Thanks! Time to build a DS backlog. :D/
Indeed, and there were way more DS titles released here than for anything else. I think it was something in the neighborhood of 1,500-1,700. Of course most of that, like the Wii, was shovelware but there's still hundreds of amazing titles that are worth playing.

Awesome, Amazon canceled my Luigi's Mansion order 3 days after I placed it with no email no notice.

Im contacting them to complain

meh the majority of the items on the first page I've either played and didn't like or have no interest in sans spirit tracks. but zelda is just really not for me anymore. don't love it like I used to back when I was a kid.

having checked the second page its alot better. I think i like unwound future over lost future as a title though.

Complained to Amazon and the chat rep offered a $10 credit so i could order it NEW at the same price.

Problem is Amazon.com doesnt have Luigi's Mansion in stock.

Looks like im just gonna get DK3D for $28 --- or should i wait since it's always $8-9 cheaper on AWD

Amazon never fails to impress even when they disappoint!

Expect to have your mind blown and your soul crushed with the regret of what you've been missing for years.

Here's a (far from complete list) of games you should be looking out for and most of it's relatively easy to track down.

That is a good list. I own or have played most everything on that list, and even if I didn't like the game, I can admit it was a good one. Several on there are like that, but that is a very very good list for a new DS owner.

By the way--a lot of those really aren't that hard to find. Some are rare, but a lot are easy to find.

(G) Zook came in today and the package has a cut on it but I think the glue just wore out and the plastic cracked when it fell down or something. Very happy and I had credit so $7 I didn't have to spend.

Those 3D games on the DS really aged badly. It's hard to go back to games like Mario Kart DS and Animal Crossing: Wild World when their 3DS sequels are improved in every way possible.

Well yeah, that stuff's a little rough at this point but the 3D games were kind of rough looking at the time so it's hit and miss. The 2D games have held up just fine though.

Yea, because the 3DS visuals are so much more impressive.

lol.

Metroid Prime Hunters still looks great. An FPS like it on the 3DS would be awesome but it would rely on the stick. D-Pad is a lot better.

While I like the 3DS and most of the games look great to me, I must say Shin Megami Tensei 4 has some of the worst sprites I've ever seen. Jesus it was like playing a Gameboy Color game, looking at those ugly demon sprites.

Wtf? You don't play many handheld games, do you? Even GBC to DS is a huge difference. The 3DS sprites were great.

Check out Etrian Odyssey for a wizardry type experience. Might be up your alley.

SMT Devil Survivor 1 and 2 are excellent SRPG's with that unmistakble smt flavor.

999 is an excellent visual novel/adventure game.

Radiant Historia is highly acclaimed.

I thoroughly enjoyed Might and Magic Clash of Heroes.

M&L Bowsers Inside Story is one of my favorites on the handheld.

The World Ends with You is a very unique rpg experience.

Professor Layton games are nice puzzle adventure games.

Trauma Center is another unique experience.

Yeah, because these really look the same (not to mention the frame rate is improved significantly on the 3DS):

TWEWY is an awesome experience. I was pulling out my ds and playing at stop lights and my girl was yelling at me I was so hooked on it. Even the cheesy 'sleep' and 'talk' xp that is needed are still awesome. Super super awesome game.

also i looked mighty awesome on metro subways blowing and tapping and dragging and talking into my ds during the battles. it just gets so insane. dual brain overload with top screen, bottom screen, blowing, making noise, tapping, dragging, etc. too fun

Also I gotta upload a pic for ya later Eldritch. My ocd took over and I finished collecting every skylander available so far... See, im not just obsessive about trophies, it also goes into other realms ;) I cheated by getting warnado and whamshell lightcores from swap, but finally found my elusive wrecking ball and hot dog for $5 each from some kid on craigslist. :)

AWD's sorting and listings are really starting to piss me off, lol.

Found this on the New and Popular, if you sort by price, it doesn't even show up

I was gonna pick it up, but I never use my Kinect so it would just be a waste right now

Kinect Disneyland Adventures (LN) 5.18

Or still at work, though glancing at the score, it doesn't appear I'm missing much. Can't wait for Sherman to get all Thugnificent again.

Sorry, I didn't really explain myself. I love DS and 3DS, I was just laughing at the notion that the graphics boost could be the difference between playable and unplayable.

I'm more into gameplay than graphics, but I understand many people find 5 year old games hard to look at. It's hard not point and laugh a little bit though.

We'll get a new thread if denver makes comeback.

This is probably the best time to hunt down a ps4 if they pop up.

Reading comprehension, man. I said the games are improved in every way - meaning gameplay wise AND visually. Furthermore, the games I mentioned came out in 2005, which means they're more than five years old.
