F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Welp, today was the 2nd day this week that a package hasn't arrived on time so I complained like Eldritch suggested, thinking that I was just going to get a month extension on Amazon Prime but nope, lady just straight out gave me $30 promo credit. Didn't even ask for it. I just asked her the status on the package as to why it hasn't arrived yet and she just said to compensate for the delay I've added $30 promo credit to your account. I guess that's pretty awesome luck considering it's my birthday.

Well then...I ordered something on the 13th and received it on the 17th. Maybe I should have a little chat with Amazon. I think that should have arrived on the 16th, no?

Has there been any news released why its decreased? Any rumors even? Seems strange to me...
Oh, there's been tons of rumors. Al the way from Christmas slowdown, to Warehouse Deals possibly shutting down, to alien invaders being the cause. But there's nothing substantial to any of them.

They shipped it Friday afternoon. I didn't include Sunday. I don't think I'll bother though since I've gotten credit from them fucking up the listings a few times.
I know there is Saturday delivery for UPS sometimes but Friday to Monday is really only 1 day normally. I definitely would not complain about UPS not counting the weekend days.

I think people's thirst is just getting the better of them. AWD has never been particularly "full" for me. All it's ever been is a million pages of junk they can't sell (or sort) and then every once in a while you'll get 20 decent items at most that last for under a minute. Otherwise it's refreshing the page every couple of hours to find a next gen game for around $35.

I'm not. I was wrong anyway I double checked and they shipped it on Saturday so Tuesday was the right day.

If it was past the guaranteed delivery date, then you should've. It's in their policy if you have Prime and they missed they give a free month extension, up to 12 months.
Thanks. I'll need to bring it up. I asked what happened to my shipment because it was two or three days late and the representative asked me my question.

I'm a little confused as to Prime 2-day shipping.  I've never been too concerned with it, but have a time-sensitive gift to grab tonight.  If I buy it off of AWD tonight using my Prime membership, it is showing an estimated delivery date of Monday (3 days away, excluding Sunday).  It was my understanding that Sat deliveries were the norm as I've gotten them before from Amazon. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: Now that I've calmed down and thought about it, I realize my mistake.  I'm expecting things they ship in the morning to get here the very next day.  Would be 1-day shipping.  Thanks for the space to figure things out, CAG!

Not the norm. It depends on the item. And you can't count the day you order as the first of 2 days for Prime shipping (although I have ordered plenty of things that get delivered the next day. It really depends on what warehouse the item is shipping from and what carrier they use.).

A good rule of thumb is two business days starting the day after you order. I bought stuff on Tuesday night that I assumed would get to me on Friday before there was even an estimate and I was correct.

a new copy currently goes for $24, are there any dlc codes for the limited edition?
No dlc and the (N) listings towards the end are for the new item price [(N) = New]. Just being clear since I don't know if everyone knows what I am referring to when I list those acronyms.
