What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

I've bought 4 or 5 over the last couple years and they were all in excellent shape. No scratches on any of the screens and I don't remember any having any scratches at all really. I stay away from acceptable but "good" or above should be just that. I also wouldn't buy any that say they're repackaged or missing anything unless they were stupid cheap but that's just me.

I purchased Spartan Assault on the One trying to use my $12.50 in currency and the leftover on my Paypal, instead it just charged me the full $14.99 via Paypal. Anywho, throughout the phone call shes telling me about her kids, her job, asking me what my plans for Christmas are, and I just rolled with it. It worked out great in my end because she ended up refunding me the full amount, so free Spartan Assault and she noticed that my Live was running out in January so she e-mailed me two one month codes. This really can't be one of those M$ CS turns into Amazon CS type of situations because then hell would have really frozen over.

I don't think so. First hint is that it was tested, which means it must have been taken out. Second hint is that all the imperfections are on the item, not the box.

Most people have had great experiences but it's always a gamble. I ordered a Like New console and it came DOA. But you can always just send it back and try your luck again in that case.

 
Well I got in my acceptable copy of Driver for PS3 today and it's definitely acceptable at best.  No case which was a gamble but then the bottom of the disc had some brown stuff stuck on it that didn't really seem like mud.  Then there's a big ole scratch on the disc.  I've never even seen a BR disc that was scratched before.

Have you tried wiping it off? I've seen a lot of what appeared to be scratches on BR discs before, but once I tried to wipe them off they came right out. If they don't come off then that would be weird.

Well I had to get the mysterious brown substance off so yes, it's been cleaned. Definitely a nice big scratch.

I went almost two years without being thrown up on so I'll consider that a win.

Edit- Well they just cancelled that fight stick. That boomerang would have been really nice but now I guess I have to make some hard choices with how to spend my credit.

Got my "good" walking dead bundle ps vita today. Looks flawless and included everything... Except for the code for the walking dead. I forgot what the description stated so I'm debating whether or not I should hit up CS or not

Thats interesting because I just had a very similar experience last night when trying to figure out what to do about my fault headset. They gave mean xbox one avatar tee and she kept talking about being an FPS player and her coworker and how her coworker challenging her. It was a very wierd, yet awesome experience. They had me take the headset back to Gamestop and sure enough, they just gave me a new headset. Customer service FTW.
 
I bought a Wii U 32GB off of AWD and it came today. The description said the packaging was damaged. I received the console only in a great looking package. Sent that shit right back.

 
Not gaming, but I bought an acceptable Wifi backpack for the GoPro Hero 2 ($13.xx, retail is still $60 most places). It was marked as having a cosmetic scratch on it, but it was on the outer box and everything inside was brand new.

They're not going to guarantee a DLC code works so you got what you paid for.

Just as mitch noted, DLC codes are almost never guaranteed, and it's assumed that they're not working, so usually if you do get one that does work just think of it as a bonus (as most of the time they'll mark it as DLC not working anyways even if it does work), but not something you are entitled to when shopping through AWD. People complain about crushed boxes, and missing physical content, but you got a flawless copy of a game which came with everything, and now you're complaining the DLC doesn't work on a USED product? It really is just the nature of the game with AWD, but I guess you don't shop with AWD often, so maybe that's why you're surprised by the DLC not working anymore. I dunno. *shrug*

Oh I'm not complaining, I just didn't know if this was standard or not which is why I posted in here rather than jumping straight to cs. I also didn't remember the description so that added to it.

No problem. I was kind of under the impression you may not shop with AWD much, so that makes more sense now. In general though AWD usually just puts the generic DLC not included in their descriptions for their used media, but if it's not noted it's also safe to assume it doesn't come with it, and it will almost never note DLC IS included. However, there is always a chance the DLC code still works even if they note it may or may not, so always try them out regardless. Good luck on your future AWD purchases, and happy hunting.

First of all, Merry Christmas DS2U and all the thread-readers! I do not contribute much to AWD but love to find some great deals through here. Saving my wallet and expanding my backlog always!

Second of all I hope a CAG got that New Vegas CE, I would love one around that price point.
