F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

None of the pros of the thread seem to answer this question, but I'm guessing they are running scripts?
they keep multiple tabs open one left alone with the current stock numbers for reference, and the other 2 refresh using stuff like check4change. they also keep tabs open on their wishlist/cart for things they want. mostly its just luck though as anything that is ACTUALLY good goes n seconds normally. and they already answered this question you just missed it.

basically its dedication and luck.

i ordered the walking dead version for $164, i prefer that one because the description always says packaging may be damaged which makes me hope its a dinger, ill share on friday when i get it (assuming this snow doesnt disrupt the ups anymore than it already has)

i debated about the $144 one but it was pretty obvious it was a trade in by the description, so really the condition could be anything based on the person grading it
I ordered an acceptable one that said may not include case, coverart or manual...

It came pristine but with no ar cards or manual cool thing was this was a base model and they must never have checked the memory card slot as there was one it...

People who spend massive amounts of time and energy searching stuff like this boggles my mind.  If you truly have some type of awesome script/program set up to both search and buy for you (or otherwise alert you to) then hey that's cool I guess...sketchy but hey.  But if you're doing it enough to be called "dedicated"  then well, is it REALLY worth the money you save if you spent countless hours wasting time looking for it?  Time is money ya know...

I mean sure there's kind of a thin line to straddle here but some of the people (especially on SD) to dedicate enough time to it that it's basically a part time job.  I guess if you're reselling and it IS your part time job that's one thing but then again that also makes you a douche by taking away deals from people who actually want/need them.

This thread is about great deals and being part of a mostly positive, upbeat community. Dont come in here talking garbage that doesnt pertain to anything in this thread.

On topic, theres quite a few Just Dance 2014 for WiiU with the remote+ included. $39.20 http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00F0RABMA/ref=sr_1_85_olp?s=merchant&ie=UTF8&qid=1391714877&sr=1-85&condition=used (Dinger)

they have no life, no money, or actually enjoy the "hunt" and it's become a game itself. it is what it is. if you have a real job with a bit of freedom and some extra screens it makes it a lot less nuts though, i'd hope some are of this ilk. a few people in here do give off a heavy vibe of a dirty ass pawnshop owner/troller in here though... *shivers* pawnshop people...

that said this isn't the thread where you say stuff like that, this is essentially the amazon pawnshop thread.

i also love how people escalated their defense 5x in response to him, cussing him out etc lol

fuck off.

1. I'm sure most of us watch this thread on our free time just like any other deal on a deals site. You really think people sit here for hours just on one site. Piss off.

2. Writing scripts is good but actually watching the deals isn't. But than reselling is bad but not getting it for yourself...

3. To some people this is a job. Reselling (regardless of what others may think) is a job. Now buying the entire stock of something is a douchebag move but reselling in general is not. Don't be mad if you were too slow and missed out on a deal.

Really get off this site and every other deal site if you think its a waste of time. And stop filling threads up with your nonsense.

the hunt on things i don't want right away, if i want it now i just buy it. i also have 4 screens at work and have the freedom to do what i want if my work gets done. i don't wait for the craziest deals either, like i got my PS4 for $350 when is it was oos, i wasn't gonna wait and try to snipe under $300 like a lot of people. getting a decent deal on something you already wanted makes it a little cooler for me you know.

people can apporach "deals" in different ways it doesn't have to be a crazy flipping business for it to be for you. it can be for fun and to sweeten the purchase a bit while saving a few bucks. if i had to go to a brick and mortar store i'd never step foot in any of this, but doing it at my desk adds a little more entertainment to the day.

Hey Warehouse Experts,

I really need some help determining whether a laptop battery is a dinger or has been used. Warehouse Deals lists the item as:

Used - Good

Item in original packaging. Packaging will have cosmetic damage.
Is this a dinger? This is especially important because I need it in great shape so that it holds a charge as if it were new. Does "original packaging" mean that the packaging has never been opened before and that it is guaranteed factory-sealed?

Thanks in advance.

Nope.

This could be a dinger, but I don't think that description necessarily suggests that it is.

Longshot, but anyone ever use AWD to buy an internet modem? I'm wanting to save a bit of money, but the only description is "packaging may be damaged" in good condition. I don't want it to be missing any wires or discs or whatever these modems even need.
