F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot
Skyrim for ps3 is great... have played hours upon hours and sure there is some minor (MINOR) hiccups frame rate etc but nothing bad. I would recommend it for sure especially at that price on ps3
I put about 60 hours into it on the PS3, leveled up every stat to 100 and pretty much did everything. The main quest is awful but the game itself is a nice improvement in interface over Oblivion. I prefer Oblivion's story and replayability, though. That said, I definitely experienced nasty choppiness throughout the game after my save file got up to about 12 MB. I sold the game long before the latest patch came out, though, which supposedly almost eliminates the stuttering completely.

If anyone in here ordered a Vita last night, when does yours say it's arriving?
Mine apparently isn't set to arrive until March 21!
ugh!
How good of a deal is this? Compared to AWD price points for 4GB 360, 250GB 360, other bundles, etc? TIA!
Not quite as good, still a good deal. Pretty much worth it for the special edition console.

Pretty much the exact same thing here. Is it odd that I find myself preferring Kingdom of Amalur in terms of combat?

Combat, yeah I could see that. Skyrim's strengths are the immersive environment and quest gameplay.

Not horrible by any measure. You could do much worse or ~10% better depending on how much you care to look around.

That console is ugly as dogshit though
I am so tempted to get this. Thanks for the post :D
I'm surprised at how excited people get at sales for that (it's quite glitchy).

Amalur has better combat... at the base, but it's also so ridiculously easy, even on hard, that it negates any of the gain.

That and the loot sucks, the world sucks, the skill system sucks. Amalur apes World of Warcraft to a fault, including every last flaw: It's just mindless.

Skyrim is janky, but it's a much, much better game under the faults.

Have not been paying too much attention for the vita, but I just picked up a 3g launch bundle, how has the game selection and pricing been on Amazon warehouse?

they're all clones to a large degree. I personally love how most books you read in games like these have four pages of content or so, they looked so thick! But we're getting there.

edit: gone
I think newegg had it for $19.99 recently. This game will continue to drop like a rock. Before you know it, it'll be $10. That's what I'm waiting on.
It was actually as low as $16 (plus taxes if applicable) with free shipping; that deal started 2/22 and lasted a week but it's now back up to the standard $40 price. A bit suprised Amazon didn't try very hard to match so I guess I'll be waiting as well.
For someone it is. Please, don't abuse the punctuation.
I was flabbergasted. The site already filters out the Rated R vernacular, so I went a different route.

Quit talkin trash.
$209 a good deal for a 250gb slim holiday bundle? "Good" condition
It's been there the whole day. It seems like a good deal, cheapest on Amazon right now.
Lost Odyssey
Like New - $24.33

:360:Bioshock 2
Like New - $7.49
FWIW I picked up Lost Odyssey used Good from textbooksrus-fba earlier this week for $15. Condition was better than good (AWD would have rated it Like New).

So they sealed it?
So they sealed it?
No, they didn't reseal it like AWD, but the case had almost no shelf-wear, the sticker came off easily with no residue, and the discs and manual looked completely untouched. Honestly, I was expecting to have to return it, but decided to roll the dice because the price was so good.

Is there a consensus on which is better if there's a choice between a "Like New" with no comments, or a "Like New - item may come repackaged" when it comes to AWD?

Not so much for games in this case (sorry), but electronics like a blu-ray player. I forgot which was more likely to be just a torn box, or a return.

Thanks.
