F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Yep at least once a week if not more.

Lowest I've ever seen is $11.99 but that was a LONG time ago.

Probably around $14.99-$22.99
worth getting at that pricE?
You could pick up the steelbook GotY edition for the same price. If you want it for collection purposes though, yeah, go ahead. I picked one up a while back for 12.00. The guide to the empire is pretty damn nice. Sadly mine didn't come with the gold septim coin. I'd shoot for the one you quoted, but I can't really justify paying another 14 just for the coin.
That's disappointing. The game just came out, why is it missing cover art, case, and everything else? I would have bought it otherwise.
Apparently some people throw them away when they open the game. I say "apparently" because I've never met one because I want nothing to do with these kinds of people.

Isn't AC Brotherhood on sale this week on PSN for $15?

For PS+ members yes. $20.99 for non plus.

or just kept everything.

I don't know why someone would want to keep the cover, booklet, case etc... but just sell the game away. lol

When I sold Skyrim, I kept the map. But that hardly compares.

My recent expereince

I got one of those MW3 360 Bundles. It didn't come in it's original packaging but that didn't bother me since the system and controllers looked newish and work great and it was packaged really nice too The thing that did suck was the big scratch on MW3. It was unplayable and worthless so I emailed amazon to find out what I could do and the friendly csr told me to send the whole bundle back and order another bundle. I wasn't about to send the whole thing back over a $40 game so I asked for a replacement and they told me they couldn't do that but could offer me a 20% refund of $70 back. Shocked the hell out of me. They really know how to take care of their customers, was really irritated bout being told to order a new one at first but they came thru in the end.

I already have MW3 n was planning to give this one to a buddy so I'll be picking it up from walmart in the morning.

It was most likely part of the CE. They probably kept the steelbook and other extras and may buy it again when it's cheaper? My assumption at least.

I did that with FFXIII-2 CE. I sold back my US copy with only the game & booklet to BB, and bought the Asian version instead. I played FFXIII with Japanese voice overs and English subtitles, so I wanted to do the same with part 2. Then I just put the disc and booklet into my US CE packaging.

^did similar w. both arkham city and skyrim ce's. neither comes with a vanilla case/cover so i traded them disc/instructions only to bb and used the credit to get vanilla versions later down the line. i wouldn't do it if they would just include vanilla cases with ce's.

The only thing that is stupid about what said person did is that the disks for the Collector's edition are "unique" in the case that they are different from standard ones. I also thought about trading it in (CE disks) once I was done with it and re-buying when cheaper, but the disks are labeled as limited, and I don't want to ruin the package's value by including generic ones.

Contact Activision Support. They'll be able to send you out a replacement disk or at least offer a $20 paid replacement.
How? It's not even out yet?
It comes out Tuesday. I'm guessing they have started shipping or about to start shipping copies out and it had a dent.

With that said, nice find!!
Got Tales of Graces F for $29.96 on Amazon! w00t.
From WD? I have a hard time believing that. If you made up something and think it's clever.. don't waste our time.

Sorry but I don't believe you. It hasn't even come out yet so it's not like you can say you got a repackaged copy.

That's what I was thinking. It didn't even fine out yet...

$45-$50 I'd believe. Under $30 for it made me very sceptical.

Got my like new copy of Dungeon Hunters Vita the other day. How can I tell the difference between resealed and never opened at all? It looks like it is brand new.
You don't believe him, we get it. It affects absolutely none of us. Move on.
Except then people see the reported price and think it's legit and hold out hope for that price again. (I don't know if this report is or not, I have no opinion on it.)

Remember the Vita for $47 fiasco? There's still CAGs out there that believe someone got a Vita for $47.

is the amazon sticker on the inside or the outside of the shrinkwrap.

If the game requires no memory card, I guess you can tell if it's opened if it prompts you about not being to earn trophies because there's already a save

...or that sticker thing I guess (i never bought a Warehouse game before)

I believe Dungeon Hunter is one that does not need a memory card so yeah there's one way. And yeah if the sticker is on the outside it probably is a basically brand new copy. Maybe it had some minor packaging defect or something like that?

...And seriously Tales of Graces F for $30? Probably more than I'd ever pay for it but that's a pretty steep discount. Good find if you're not full of shit.

got my demon souls "like new" today, but i most certainly feel it is not "like new" at all. Tin box was pretty dented and had some "gunk" on the bottom of it (sticker residue?) that was nasty brown :( I Don't think I'd call this like new, to be honest. Game disc looked new, so thats a plus i guess.

How do I send this sucker back to them now? lol

To be fair, most peoples Brand New copies at launch were dented tins (the two I ordered), and the stickers it came with that "sealed" the tins left a TON of mucky muck on them. Basically just saying I wouldn't be too picky with these, you'll likely be let down over and over.

Use goo gone. I used it on the tin case to get rid of the guck. There was also a slight dent in the middle, but who cares. Best purchase I made in months, played that game for about 3 weeks before I moved on. Love the multiplayer.

well, atleast I feel a bit better then. Mybe I should keep if every tin Im going to get is going to be the same. Was the downloadable content worth a damn? or not particularly?

Someone here mentioned the multiplayer.... worth while experience?

I never even redeemed the DL code, it was a soundtrack and digital mini guide I think, pretty pointless and doesn't add any in game content. The multiplayer is a welcome edition for sure, definitely worth doing.
