F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Well, I was still smarting from the gut-punch on having it yoinked out of my cart while I was in checkout.

I wasn't gonna miss out on $26.67 Scribblenauts.

I am guessing you meant Scribblenauts Unlimited (if so nice catch) and not this:

:ds: Super Scribblenauts (Like New) $15.82

Yeah, Unlimited. Buy Two Get One, but I tend to look at that as each game being 1/3 of the total paid. That way, say, I can look at the other one I'm "paying" for without going 'oh god why did I spend that much for that game."
Best scenario, it is flawless. Good scenario, it is dinged due to packaging being bent out of shape but works fine. Worse case scenario it does not work properly then you return it to Amazon and stakeout for another one.

I can tell you this much that I got one couple of months ago listed in acceptable condition and when I got it the only thing flawed about it was the packaging (the box was torn at the ends and the plastic clamshell was bit bent out of shape). However, the controller was brand new. I am still using it to this day. Only one way to find out if it is worth your money and that is inspect it first hand and use it. Good luck!
All right. After hearing your words, I have changed my mind. The most important is the controller itself, but not the packaging. Anyways, thank again, DealSeeker2U. By the way, how do you know that your controller is brand new?

I calculate those deals the same way to truly see if it is a "deal" (I am a CAG after all ;)). Nothing is really "free" and I say for newly released game that's a good price.

For one the clamshell packaging was still intact and sealed (not Amazon sealed). Secondly, it just had that "new" smell and feel to it. The analog nubs were still raised and not worn. The seal / serial # was not worn. Their were no scruffs, smudges, or dirt on the controller in places where you can see when they have been used (crevices in the seams, analog nubs, triggers / shoulder buttons, face buttons, etc). You can just tell when something is new, obvious one being it was still clam shut sealed.
For the earlier question about X-COM: It will suck you in and not let go if you let it.

:)
I agree with this guy. X-COM is fantastic. If you have a PC capable of playing it i'd get it for that however. It's made by Firaxis and is a turn based strategy game so if you enjoy the Civilization series or games of that type you'll love X-COM.

Pretty much.

I can feel good about Scribblenauts U, Batman: AC (even though I have the PS3 version already) and Epic Mickey 2 for $26.67 each. I'd feel less good about two of those at $40, even if the third was "free."

Agreed!

Yes, this. Mouse+keyboard is by far the easiest way to play.

Just snagged Mortal Kombat Vita for $13.85. I haven't played a MK game since ~MK2 or so, back on some old system. We'll see how things have changed.

Hope so. My wife is holding my Black Friday AC Bundle Vita hostage until Christmas. It sits and taunts me from underneath the tree... At least she let me have AC3 early ^_^

I snagged it for $10 a while back, and it's definitely worth it. It's one of the most challenging/rewarding games on the Vita. You'll get a lot of mileage out of that game.

Took a chance ona $4.73 3com V1405-5 network switch. Arrived today and was brand new. Still in the original wrapping in the box. Did not have a graded by warehouse deals sticker anywhere.
That's roughly $3 more than the current new price.
It was amusing to see it listed as such like that Alan Wake game at $59.99.
Is this game worth $20?
I've been playing it the last few days. I'd definitely give it $20 if you enjoy Assassin's Creed games.

The graphics are nothing to write home about but considering how big the world is and that it is on a handheld, they're not terrible. The gameplay is more or less the same as any other AC game but with a couple new things here are there (most notable is the different personas. You can switch between an assassin's outfit, a slave outfit and a lady outfit in order to have special perks for missions).

Like New Pink DS3 $29.69
Wow. That went fast.

My girlfriend has been bugging me to get her a pink controller too. ;_;
AC3 Liberation is definitely worth $20. It's a lot of fun as long as you are not expecting too much going in. I have been pleasantly surprised based on the mediocre reviews.

Also, the whole persona outfits is a little unique, but does not sell the game for me. What sells it for me is that it is a perfectly good (if not very good) open world type game on a handheld. I'm hoping it lays the groundwork for a future Vita AC title that's even better.
