F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot
I did not buy the ME3 because of all the hate regarding the ending. I do not want to destroy the great memories I had when I played the first 2 games
IMHO, I think this is a mistake. As cliche as it sounds, I think it's the journey to the end that really counted for me, not the ending. There are a lot of different stories within the game that had closure and awesome conclusion - the experiences and the story lines of my teammates and how they concluded those arcs, man, those were just plainly amazing.

And besides, the main story ending was not as bad as the internet made it seem to be. Maybe you could call mediocre for a really grand game like ME, but definitely not bad.

Now, after playing, if you still think the ending is really that bad, then just focus on the "great memories" you had playing through it.

You would depriving yourself with an awesome overall experience by not playing the game.
Don't let the last 40 mins of mediocrity ruin a great 30+ hour experience.

*Disclaimer: I didn't play the revised/updated ending of the game so not sure how that update affected the ending.

If by the updated ending you mean the extended ending that Biioware released for free, then you're not missing much. It just expanded the final cut scene.

Well, I have ME3 on PC but uggggh. I originally played ME1 and ME2 on 360, so I do have saves to transfer over. Plus, I haven't played any DLC (including From Ashes) and it seems to go on sale more frequently than on Origin. I'm in, even though I really shouldn't be (already spent like $200 on Warehouse Deals this past week!)

Game rules but killed my love for the series from ending... Your blank either way...

The Mass Effect 3 ending was awful, but the whole game in general, well still good, paled in comparison to the 2nd game. I was disappointed before I even finished it.

I've seen the revised ending on the PC. They pretty much fleshed out the ending (without giving it away) and added new cut-scenes that explain the ending a bit better, as well as adding some more conversation options.

I agree 100%, great game but flawed. The thing that drove me nuts even more than the ending was galactic readiness and if I didn't play mp to get it up, I would have an even worse ending. The mp wasn't bad, I just don't like having to play it to enhance and or alter my single player experience.

I personally don't think that MP should have any effect on anything, storyline wise or achievement wise. I'm not an MP player on consoles unless I play with my friend with system link or otherwise, not with random people. It would be nice if the new xbox and ps4 would have separate achievements and trophies for the multiplayer side.

I never touched the MP and had more than enough galactic readiness to get the best ending.
I never touched the MP and had more than enough galactic readiness to get the best ending.
Did you play at launch? I did everything in the game besides MP and didn't get any readiness. :/
The Mass Effect 3 ending was awful, but the whole game in general, well still good, paled in comparison to the 2nd game. I was disappointed before I even finished it.
I was expecting something awful going in, but I was really loving most everything up to the end. The final fight and goodbyes were really well done, and that
last desperate push to the elevator was incredibly intense and epic.
Then with the fight against the elusive man, and activating, whatever it was I forget, and sitting there almost dying staring up at the stars. That would have been enough, the reapers are destroyed, hurray! Cheesy, predictable, maybe, but I would have been totally cool with it.
Then the stupid alien kid/holigram/God figure comes down, and everything goes to pot.

I really enjoyed the game, but I don't feel much like playing through it again, unlike Mass Effect 2 which is always calling me back. Just out of curiosity, since it didn't have much of any effect, which ending did you all choose? I went with
Synthesis. I just couldn't kill EDI or the Geth, and there was no way I was following in the Elusive Man's steps. Though in hindsight, I think that might have been the best option, but oh well.

EDIT: forgot to say, I really liked the MP. Wish I'd had friends to play it with, but it was fun with randoms as well:D
"Amazon Warehouse Deals w/ daily derailment!"
I apologize, I participated on that derailment. I accept your scorn sir/s... LOL .... now back to the deals!
I love that some stuff from older systems is trickling its way into the thread. Kudos to those posters :)

+1

Keep it up! I've already added a few games to my collection because of those posts (Battlefront II, LN, $19 and Dragon Warrior VII, LN, $29)

:bouncy:

Was about to flip my lid about ME3 CE being only 10 bucks more than the normal copy I bought that hasn't arrived yet... Then I saw it was on 360 and not PS3. Now I don't feel so bad.

agreed FINALLY got a working Legend of Dragoon because of this

Agreed, I love the love for GameCube games. I got a like new windwaker because of this thread for $19 and I stumbled upon a thousand year door for 23 on my own. Good stuff, thanks for all the work you guys put in
That's a great price for the ME3 CE. If I didn't already own one, I'd definitely get it (I don't see a reason to get another).
The reason is to flip?
The reason is to flip?
Since ME3's been out for more than a year and interest in it has tapered off due to the backlash from the ending (those who didn't mind the ending likely moved on to other things already), I'm not too confident in this being a worthy flip. If you can make a profit selling it, though, go right ahead.
agreed FINALLY got a working Legend of Dragoon because of this
Playing through this right now. Its great; the only issue I have is it seems to take FOREVER to level up...

I remembered playing the demo as a kid at kmart, and my one friend in school had one, but growing up always had Nintendo systems, so I'm glad to have finally acquired it.

I probably won't get to finish it until summer (yay ~20min playtime save) with the backlog lol gotta finish all the Assassin's Creed games

edit:
I'm honestly waiting for a Metroid Prime Trilogy to pop up on AWD :)
the way some of these these games are going, I would like to see an Earthbound copy pop up
I'm honestly waiting for a Metroid Prime Trilogy to pop up on AWD :)
One popped up last Friday. It's en route to me currently. I figured I would never find one, but I did. Good luck to you.
Playing through this right now. Its great; the only issue I have is it seems to take FOREVER to level up...
Let the epic battle music and Addition-building motivate you to keep grinding. ;)

...Man, it sure would be cool if Sony suddenly unveiled Legend of Dragoon 2, though that will never happen.
One popped up last Friday. It's en route to me currently. I figured I would never find one, but I did. Good luck to you.
So your the one that snagged that! Hope you enjoy it.
There's no grinding in legend of dragoon. Really linear. You basically just level up after every boss fight.
aw, there is a little bit of grinding. It's a great game, though alot of grinding will be the constant use of additions to level them up, I loved it.
