What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

You must have been accidentally choosing the free shipping option for regular users. I've used Prime for years and I've never not received a game on release day, and that was using Release Day Delivery and since they got rid of that, free 2 day shipping. I've gotten them on release every time.
 
i have had prime since november and i absolutely love it....something to note that u can share the shipping benefits with 4 "family" members....but you cant share the video stuff...i usually go for the $3.99 one day... which is overnighted via ups...ive ordered stuff at 6:45pm and received it by 2pm the next day...i usually used my ipad mini to order and u can see how much longer you have to order an item to be able to receive it by the time they specify....which is different per item and seller that supports prime...and thats the biggest con....not a whole lot of 3rd party seller support prime...

all were like new...disc look great and red dead still had security sticker on it....
 
lol Lost Kingdom II (LN) just dropped to $8.95. Had to grab that. One minute its $120 then the next they're like okay $9 is fine. Resident Evil 3 (LN) for $10 as well. I have spent so much money on Amazon Warehouse its ridiculous. I now have $13.37 credit left.

It's offered for four years for Student. They expect us to graduate in four years when they give us unlimited streaming and free two-day shipping. lol

Sadly, I think I'm on my last year of the $39/year. Not sure though. I got my first two years of Amazon student free and just recently had to start paying $39. I wonder when their 4 year count starts?
 
I'm not sure, but I think that they asked for my year when I started, so they may be using that. I don't know if it's going by the information of the school year or the amount of time with Amazon. In my case, it's both. I just started on my second semester, so that's a little weird.
 
It's cheaper if you just pay the $79 annual charge and split the cost with your family....there accounts get the free shipping but you get the streaming and the shipping! :)

How would they know? Lol. You link separate accounts to your main prime account. They would have no idea what you watch or what you order from your account. Haha
 
Just received my order for a 3DS XL from Amazon Warehouse. A DSLite was inside the box instead of a 3DS. At least Amazon customer service is pretty alright.
 
I should look into that linking thing. Maybe you CAGs can pay for my next renewal. lol

That sucks, jtron. What's bad for me is that I think a customer service person made a note of me in some kind of blacklist. The last few representatives have not been helpful. One wouldn't budge when I told her that part of my order could still be in the warehouse. I asked if someone who is taking inventory in that section could check for me and she wouldn't do anything except tell me that she could send a return label by e-mail. I can do it myself. -_-

I almost bought one the other night. That is pretty sketchy.
 
That's kind of crazy how someone can put a small DS Lite that says "DS Lite" and does not have the functionality or interface of a 3DS in the box and get away with it.


Kaiser499, you can go through eBay's collective petition thing. They have a large amount of buyers and sellers who don't want it to pass.

Some of us already get taxed for Amazon orders. Texas and California right now, I think.

You don't pay tax if you pay with gift cards, though. That's a neat way around it.

Is their some kind of trick so you won't get taxed when paying with cards? All my gift card orders get taxed.

I feel for consumers when it comes to tax, but 75% or more of my business purchases are on Amazon. I'm required to claim to my state all purchases that didn't have tax collected. Then I find myself mailing in $50 to $70 to pay the sales tax for the state yearly. Once Amazon starts using the tax tables for all 50 states, it will make it much easier. I'll likely owe almost no state taxes.

Really? I bought a Vita last year with gift cards and was only charged tax for the difference after the gc balance was applied.

you're probably in the minority of those that report sales tax on internet purchases. it would be funny if someone gets audited for not reporting their Amazon purchases though

They both install, but you still have to switch discs when playing the game depending on what missions you're trying to do.

It depends. I mean, you don't need Prime if you plan your purchases ahead of time so that you don't have to look for stuff to buy last minute to reach the 25 bucks for free shipping. It just depends on your level of patience and planning. I am pretty bad on both of those, so Prime is great for me.

I'm in AZ and started getting charged taxes in February. The worst part is that starting July digital goods are supposed to also be taxed.

Pretty good actually. I recently got an acceptable VITA (3G w/ 8gb memory card) for 147$. It came with only a damage on the box. The actual Vita has a negligible scratch at the back, other than it pretty good. Happy with my purchase.

In one of the proposed Internet sales tax bills, it stipulates that they will pull tax records from up to the last 5 years from online retailers and cross check them against the claimed use tax (where you're supposed to file non taxed items). Then if they don't match they send out the bill.

There will be some major surprise for some people if they actually do this.

Ordered an 'Acceptable' Blue Dual Shock 3 controller last weekend, it arrived yesterday. Got a chance to test it out this morning and it is fantastic. Not a flaw on the controller itself and all buttons respond as if it was brand new. I guess it was listed as Acceptable because it did not have original packaging.

Most Likely. I've found most hardware (controllers, memory cards, systems) tend to be in relatively good shape even at "acceptable" levels. The missing packaging is the only thing that knocks it down apparently.
 
Picked up a very good bioshock infinite and the estimated delivery date is may 7th. It's going to be popping up again soon I don't have the patience for that long of a wait.

Thanks, I picked up that DS3. My (A) Platinum Wavebird came in yesterday. There are a few very small marks on it, but the buttons are all solid and are working well. My (A) Nunchuck was in the same condition. I also received my (LN) The Last Story. I was very surprised when I opened it up and found the Limited Edition with outer case, sealed music CD, and artbook. :D

On 360? I almost bought a very good infinite for 35 or so but I had to pass, it'll be 30 new sooner or later
