F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

I firmly believe that Origins was best on Vita and one of the best (if not THE best) platformers in years. I borrowed the :ps3: version of Legends from my library and I'm stunned that Ubisoft was able to outdo themselves; I'll definitely be buying a copy for myself once it drops to the $15-$20 range.

Unless a Vita copy of Legends appears for sub-$20, I'll settle for a copy from a local GS.
If your local GS has a Vita pre-owned version in stock you can get it for about $20 after b-day coupon and PUR if that's an option for you as I picked 1 up earlier today.

Woops. Didn't see Edison's post. Thanks
Not a problem.

Man, I want to use the 10% off code on something, but I don't know what...Most (if not all) of the stuff that immediately interests me (e.g., KH 1.5) I can see being at a good price for BF, and the copies of Madden 25 that have surfaced would be delivered too late (10/8) to be used effectively. Hmm... :whistle2:k

stoned99 I appreciate your efforts but lets keep this out of this thread. Mods already purged it once. Plus those in the know already know you have it posted in BB trade in thread. Also, the way the warehouse works these prices will be useless in matter of hours.

I'll update it daily to make sure it's current.

Fair enough, but it is already becoming outdated. I checked some game prices to game prices on warehouse and they are not matching up. Not only that but the restocks play a big part in the shift so it will need constant updating. Now to give an idea of a price point, that spreadsheet ain't bad but I won't go by it to get the exact deal. If you ever followed this thread then you will know that no same listing of the same game is at times at the same price or for that matter here for long.

Although they may be useful for flipping, this time I think they offer a quick idea of what was available rather than wading through pages of stuff.

Definitely not worth it for flip purposes given how fickle AWD prices are but I see your point. Good stuff! BTW, good job with the spreadsheets and hooking up folks in the BB trade in thread. See you around!

dont know if i can pull trigger on sr4 gog ed for 80 i want the stuff but it sounds like price is trending downward
Wait for a price drop. That one day when it was a gold box deal it got to around $70 so it has been cheaper.

Interesting that it looks like they still have a dinger/donger/whatever L.A Noire Complete Edition for the :360: for $22

Just FWIW, if you have multiple consoles: The PS3 version doesn't come on four (four!) discs like this one does, and has exclusive content that's never been released for the 360. It's also more expensive and rarer, naturally.

I agree with this idea. I read (almost) every post in this thread (and a few others), but it would still be very helpful as a resource to see what things have been going for recently. Flipping using AWD games, as Dealseeker notes, is roulette; buying games and stalking AWD for sales is an endeavor that a little knowledge could certainly help with.
