F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Thanks, picked it up.

I had Wonderful 101 in my cart, but...with all I've got in my backlog, I can wait for a $25-$30 price point, whether on AWD or elsewhere, so I took it out.
You are welcome :). I am with you on setting a price point but in my case it has to go even lower. After that :wiiu: purchase, I have got to hold of now for BFday deals. However, like you said a good deal is hard to pass up so there is that. :D

Im so tempted to buy a 3DS and WII U.  I never get around to playing nintendo products anymore so I know its a waste for me.  Although there is a lot of rpgs id like to play on the 3DS decisions decisions.

You waited this long, so wait for a good deal or BFday at this point and make your call. The library of good games is only growing and as such you will have a variety to choose from. Plus, incase of 3ds, rumor has it that there will be a zelda 3ds bundle so there is that.

While I would normally agree with you on waiting for an even lower price point, I find it harder to do so for Nintendo games since they rarely (if ever) drop in price, or if they do, it's not for a good while.

I have a feeling Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101 will be $39.99 on sale at some point, which is probably the best we'll get for some time until that price becomes the new MSRP.

I'm also in the special situation where I can easily borrow both of those titles from my library for free, so my price points have to account for that, as well.

Is this something you cannot experience in YouTube?
I consider the Zero Escape and Ace Attorney games (somewhat similar in structure) among my most favorite, so I'd have to say no. You miss out on certain things if you watch someone else play games like those.

I am counting on coupon stacking action or B2G1 free or some gift card promo on wii u games. Heck, Target did that last year (B2G1 free) shortly after wiiu's launch around holidays so there is a definite possibility.

Hey DealSeeker, sing this to the hook of Kanye West's "We Don't Care"

Deal seeking just to get by

Stack your games till they get sky high

(CAGs sing, CAGs sing)

We weren't supposed to buy over $5

Jokes on you if you bought full price

Throw your hands up in the sky and yell

We don't care what Slickdeals says

I like phoenix wright as much as the next guy but you really could just watch it on youtube and lose nothing out of the experience. Especially if you find a good lets play or stream on jtv/twitch.  Some games are just more fun to spectate than play. Even better when you have a good streamer and group.

I thought it was about blushing and holding hands and hugging in a very linear structure. My bad.

I have two of the original 3ds, but I don't see a reason to do it since I have some games preordered already.

Would be making profit to lol.

I have extra credit might as well :p. I know I won't hear the end of it if I buy one but, I don't care.
I wasn't in the market for one either ... until I saw that price. At that price, it is as good as it gets (until and unless BFday manages to top that with some crazy bundle deal). I enjoy playing 1st party Nintendo games along with some old gems that I picked up along the way to play so definitely looking forward to it.

I really like the controller I don't know why. I also have been wanting to play monster hunter 3 I've waited long enough I hope another pops up.

I plan on picking up Monster Hunter for wii u and playing that. Seen it go here for around $30 and at best $22 so keeping my eyes peeled for a deal on one down the road.

What's the cheapest a Deluxe Wii U has been?

Been debating getting a Wii2Hdmi, but have been thinking about getting a WiiU. I know. No type of comparison, but still.

The copy of GTA I ordered over the weekend went from being scheduled to arrive in two weeks to now being scheduled to arrive on Thursday. Too bad I have a wedding to attend on Friday.
