Amazon has some great warehouse deals, and most of their used games are in like new condition (condition listed can be acceptable, good, very good, like new, or new). Please post specific deals you find via Warehouse deals in this thread. Check latest posts for the newest deals, or click the link below.

WIKI: It seems people had a few suggestions from the last thread in terms of updating the OP. I've changed a few things, but if there is anything else you want to change, feel free to do so.

F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
From Amazon: Get deep discounts on open-box, like-new, refurbished, or used products that are in good condition but do not meet Amazon.com's rigorous standards as "new".

Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, new but with damaged packaging product aka "dinger" and trade ins in generally like new condition. They are considered 3rd party by affiliation and as such the "Amazon Warehouse Deals" distinction but are still part of Amazon.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes! All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What states does Amazon charge sales tax?
Items sold by Amazon.com LLC, or its subsidiaries, and shipped to destinations in the following states are subject to tax:

Arizona
California
Connecticut

Florida
Georgia
Indiana
Kansas
Kentucky
Massachusetts
Nevada
New Jersey
New York
North Carolina
North Dakota
Pennsylvania
Tennessee
Texas
Virginia
Washington
West Virginia
Wisconsin

Note: No sales tax is charged when purchasing gift cards; however, purchases paid for with gift cards may be subject to tax.

What do you mean by a "dinger"?
Dinger = Item is new but the packaging is damaged in some way or form.

These are speculative guesses at best going by descritption of any given item and also taking into account the length of time an item has been out since its release. Shorter the span of time from release of a game or console, better the chance of scoring a new item with damaged packaging aka "dinger".

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
First and foremost all games from AWD are considered used unless specified as new. Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and depending on condition they can be perfect / brand new, brand new with damaged packaging aka "dinger" to just a game in a generic case. AWD has 5 condition criteria for their listings and they are:

New: Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unopened video game in perfect condition in its original packaging and with all original packaging materials included.

Like New: An apparently unopened video game in perfect condition (although it may be out of its original wrapping). The box and item are pristine, with no signs of wear. Suitable for presenting as a gift. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Very Good: A well-cared-for video game that has been played but remains in great condition. The game and its original packaging are complete and slightly worn, but unmarked and undamaged. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Good: The video game shows wear from consistent use, but remains in good condition. There may be clear external signs of wear and damage to the original packaging or instructions, but the game plays perfectly. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Acceptable: The video game is fairly worn, but it continues to work perfectly. The box and instructions may be missing or damaged. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Sellers are required to note whether the box or instructions are missing in the condition notes field for the item. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Any game I have personally ever bought in good or above condition has been in near mint condition. Acceptable ones have been a gamble. Getting DLC with games has also been a gamble and since AWD games are considered used, don't expect unused DLC even though there will be occassions where they may come unused. In regards to DLC, ymmv. Conditon wise, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases and inserts, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc. Consoles listed in "acceptable" conditon can be either new in damaged packaging and or a pure gamble in what conditon they will truly be in along with what is included in the box depending on the time frame from release of the console.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

I think as long as they didn't use the download voucher you're okay.

And Mk8 is a must own :)

Edit: which if you buy new you get the free game, so if the Zelda code was redeemed already you could get it from the MK8 promo

Picked up my 1st ever AMZ Warehouse Deal. A good copy of DS2 CE for $33.xx, I just want the statue since I already have the game from launch.

Anyone tried looking up the TIV at BBY, I keep getting no results found on the search bar.

Edit: NVM it's $23 base

Well that sucks, it was just $27 a few days ago. Guess they caught on to everyone buying a cheap CE who are planning to sell of the game.

Quick question... I bought a 3ds xl for the mario games recently and love it, because clearly mario games are awesome. Eyeing Pokemon y for 3ds.... Is it a little kids game or can it be enjoyed by people of any age? I've heard a lot about Pokemon everywhere but haven't ever played one and have always associated it with kids...

I just got my (LN) DS2 CE. The clear plastic that's usually on the front of the box was gone. The display box itself is a bit beat up. The game, artbook and map are still sealed. The figure itself was probably taken out, but put back inside it's plastic cage.

This picture is accurate to this day still.

Just as an FYI, the updated version--which features many enhancements/improvements--released on Tuesday (Atelier Rorona Plus) for PS3/Vita (digital-only on Vita), so it might be preferable to wait for that to drop to a better price.
this^ though at best it'll drop to around 25-35 range a month or 2 from now so don't be expecting much. Outside the big ayesha drop last year ps3 atelier titles usually they have smaller prints so they tend to hover.

so either wait for a price drop or wait till vanilla rorona is under 10$ and see if you even like it as is before playing the better one.

Eh fwiw I do to look down on anyone for Pokemon, a lot...LOT of people play it. I can't get into it though. It's pretty basic and it does border the line of a bit too childish for me. If I liked the gameplay I could look past it but it's just not for me. I'm in the minority though, as it's very well received.

I bought an ipad Air on AWD and the tracking link in my shipping confirmation email says it was shipped "lasership" but when I go to the site and click my orders and track the package, it says shipped by USPS. WTF?

Isn't laser ships a USPS contract shipping company?
I have no clue. I've ordered at least 50 items through prime the last 6 months and it's always been UPS or USPS.

So of course they decide to send my most expensive item through some ghetto carrier. It's supposed to my birthday present tomorrow, now i'm just expecting them to steal it.

here the amazon forum for it seems to be a long history of problems with that service dating back years and still ongoing http://www.amazon.com/forum/amazon%20carrier%20feedback/ref=cm_cd_pg_oldest?_encoding=UTF8&authToken=&cdForum=Fx2KOZSYK6OUZ6Y&cdItems=25&cdPage=1&cdSort=newest&cdThread=Tx27GEWWFTOKU9T&store=generic

It's certainly not for everyone, but with that being said it's only as deep as you want it to be.

Damn that's the console bundle right? Kinda insane as I got a $240(G) Zelda a couple months back. Super jealous right now.

Guess I'll be stalking that page until another one pops up. *sigh*
Yes it was a console bundle. I got this on craigslist though, lol. I was just following up on asking should I pick it up a few days ago.

I'd keep it man. The Zelda bundle is now just starting to creep up in value and Smash bros is just on the horizon with Mario Kart available now. Damn.

Not AWD, but I figure someone here will know since AWD sucks at prices right now.

I want to have Best Buy price match an item at a local competitor that is a 'add item to cart to see price.' I scoured their website and didn't see anything about that sort of exception. Thoughts?

Ehh, it states that it is a limited quantity item. Damn.

I don't have a Target near me but I think I'll just keep it.

I'll probably trade Watch Dogs tonight and get MK8. Since I have the two free games I wanted, is Pikmin 3 worth playing? I thought about just selling the free code really cheap to one of you guys.

Question: if an item says "All accessories are present and undamaged." but nothing else. Not a dinger but like open box item?
correct, not likely a dinger. A real dinger are typically only references to damaged/cut boxes and the insides were (by implication) not inspected.

Exactly how mine (Good) came in.

Anyone remember when the dlc codes in the armor edition expires

Yeah, Pikmin 3 is really good and 2 was one of my favorite GC games.

Dinger description or not?

Includes manual, cover art, and packaging. Bonus downloadable content may have already been redeemed. Clear external signs of wear or damage to the packaging or instructions may be present. Game may have identification markings from its previous owner

Nope. That's a typical AWD description for a complete, used game.

Well I traded Watch Dogs PS4 for Mario Kart 8 tonight. Never finished WD, but meh...I figure it'll be cheap on Black Friday and it wasn't the GOAT like everyone hyped it up to be. Just felt like it wanted to be Assassin's Creed:GTA

Is this a good description for a dinger:

Condition: Used - Very Good
Comment: Downloadable content (DLC) or codes for online play may require additional purchase. Item may come repackaged. Factory Sealed.

How does something come repackaged, but factory sealed?

I haven't played wd but at the end its a great decision. You get one of the best Mario Karts ever and a free game. Can't go wrong with MK8

^^i'm fairly certain all the disc based games I've gotten from awd have been resealwd. Sooooo. I dunno lol
I haven't bought any games from them in probably two months but since around the start of the year all games that were just standard DVD cases have been getting resealed.
