Amazon has some great warehouse deals, and most of their used games are in like new condition (condition listed can be acceptable, good, very good, like new, or new). Please post specific deals you find via Warehouse deals in this thread. Check latest posts for the newest deals, or click the link below.

WIKI: It seems people had a few suggestions from the last thread in terms of updating the OP. I've changed a few things, but if there is anything else you want to change, feel free to do so.

F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
From Amazon: Get deep discounts on open-box, like-new, refurbished, or used products that are in good condition but do not meet Amazon.com's rigorous standards as "new".

Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, new but with damaged packaging product aka "dinger" and trade ins in generally like new condition. They are considered 3rd party by affiliation and as such the "Amazon Warehouse Deals" distinction but are still part of Amazon.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes! All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What states does Amazon charge sales tax?
Items sold by Amazon.com LLC, or its subsidiaries, and shipped to destinations in the following states are subject to tax:

Arizona
California
Connecticut

Florida
Georgia
Indiana
Kansas
Kentucky
Massachusetts
Nevada
New Jersey
New York
North Carolina
North Dakota
Pennsylvania
Tennessee
Texas
Virginia
Washington
West Virginia
Wisconsin

Note: No sales tax is charged when purchasing gift cards; however, purchases paid for with gift cards may be subject to tax.

What do you mean by a "dinger"?
Dinger = Item is new but the packaging is damaged in some way or form.

These are speculative guesses at best going by descritption of any given item and also taking into account the length of time an item has been out since its release. Shorter the span of time from release of a game or console, better the chance of scoring a new item with damaged packaging aka "dinger".

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
First and foremost all games from AWD are considered used unless specified as new. Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and depending on condition they can be perfect / brand new, brand new with damaged packaging aka "dinger" to just a game in a generic case. AWD has 5 condition criteria for their listings and they are:

New: Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unopened video game in perfect condition in its original packaging and with all original packaging materials included.

Like New: An apparently unopened video game in perfect condition (although it may be out of its original wrapping). The box and item are pristine, with no signs of wear. Suitable for presenting as a gift. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Very Good: A well-cared-for video game that has been played but remains in great condition. The game and its original packaging are complete and slightly worn, but unmarked and undamaged. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Good: The video game shows wear from consistent use, but remains in good condition. There may be clear external signs of wear and damage to the original packaging or instructions, but the game plays perfectly. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Acceptable: The video game is fairly worn, but it continues to work perfectly. The box and instructions may be missing or damaged. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Sellers are required to note whether the box or instructions are missing in the condition notes field for the item. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Any game I have personally ever bought in good or above condition has been in near mint condition. Acceptable ones have been a gamble. Getting DLC with games has also been a gamble and since AWD games are considered used, don't expect unused DLC even though there will be occassions where they may come unused. In regards to DLC, ymmv. Conditon wise, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases and inserts, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc. Consoles listed in "acceptable" conditon can be either new in damaged packaging and or a pure gamble in what conditon they will truly be in along with what is included in the box depending on the time frame from release of the console.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

I would if I at least had a kindle to back my story somewhat lol. I don't want to lie about the whole thing, turn myself into the everyday SDer lol

go for it Eld!! Get me one too... lol and get one for each of your croft statues
I just figured since his kept erring out he could try it, I think it was Dreamer who had luck with this since his was erring out. I figure as long as you're nice about it, don't lie, and don't expect much, you never know what you can achieve. :D

Yeah but he called right when it happened.

Tell me the results :D
Tin was beat to hell. Game case was dirty and looked like it had spent quite some time at GameStop because of the leftover sticker residue. Didn't come with any of the DLC and the art book had pages falling out. You were right. Definitely not dingers lol! Back to AWD they go xD

didn't get a chromebook but I did get a new laptop finally.  Was on sale half off so for 245$.  Have no idea how anything works though and I hate that its password to sign in like macs.  All I want is paint and word though since I already painstakingly transferred most of my itunes stuff over.

What did you get if you don't mind me askin? I have been looking around for a new laptop, just not sure if I wanted a chromebook or actual laptop. Chromebook wise I was gonna go with the HP Chromebook 14... other than that I am stuck.. trying to buy on amazon too because I have credit to burn.

it is actually a pretty easy decision to make between a chromebook and laptop. if you do anything other beside typing, and browsing the web, and music get a laptop. if you plant to do anything more intensive like watching youtube, or movie, running certain apps. you can experience issues,

Just for basic uses and school purposes, as I start back up in August. Since at home I have a really good high end PC, so just need portability and ease of use. Just never used Chrome OS and that's where I am worried.. then again transitioning from Windows to MacOSX was a struggle at first too lol. If there was a chromebook with at least an i3 processor though I would bite.. but seeing as all of them are celeron or some tablet like based processor it scares me :whistle2:k

get a chromebook then. you save a hundred dollar or so. i mean unless you want to watch/stream porn in HD, then get a laptop. it doesn't have the i3 power. the whole point for the chromebook is to offer an inexpesnive/cheap alternative to laptop.

And the Chromebook basically has to be internet connected to do the stuff it's designed to do.  Yes that's how we all operate most of the time but there are times that's not true.  Also like that Acer they did the promo on you wouldn't be able to put an SSD into or anything so you would be limited on system storage and have to use flash drives and SD cards for storage.

Yah, im always connect to wifi. Still got unlimited data through verizon with my hotspot so im set on that department. The only thing that kills me is now do I want to be lazy and have a large SD card perm in for storage, or go the cheaper route with a USB drive but have to take it out and etc at times lol

Well I ended up going with a chromebook.. after ordering and cancelling a few times, and doing research for days lol. I wanted to go with the Asus c200 but I feel the 11in is to small for me, although I do like how it has no need for a fan so it's dead silent like a tablet. So I chose HP Chromebook 14, bigger screen/keyboard etc. Just wish it had an IPS display like the HP CB 11.. I wish I could tear them all down and combine them to make myself one amazin one haha

unless google is lying, it clearly says you can still use chromebook without internet access/ offline, for certain things like typing and stuff

Reminds me of the Watch Dogs listing I saw the other day. The person wasn't selling the game but the DLC as a game listing for like $29.99-39.99 at least this person is selling a Original Kinect for a cheap price. If I didn't have one already, I'd probably be on it like butter on toast. Got mine from GameStop (Refurb $40). I've actually quite enjoyed it.

haha the recent talk about "what does mark on packaging" mean made me think of this reddit post

at least this lesson only cost Jaime $40

I found it passable but there were just so many idiotic and bad decisions with that game. same with 13-2 which is sad as the demo was actually a much better game than the real thing was and I hate how the flat out misrepresented the game with it.

XIII-2 is the second best FF behind VI in my opinion only beating FFIV narrowly. Yes, i've played them all.

lololol. Congratulations! you are the only person on earth putting that game alongside IV and VI.
I'm that one guy that doesn't follow the "cool" crowd. I play games and form my own opinion.

XIII-2 forced dlc ending sucked big time though.

6 > 13-2 > 4> 10 > 7 > 8 > LR13 > 13 > 5 > 12 > 9 > 3 > 2 > 1 > 10-2

So I was debating GS vs AWD for a used 360 S. by the time I would have added a warranty at GS I was looking at $150. Went with a new E at Microcenter for that price. Not nearly as 'cheap' as the reviews indicated. My PS3 slim from Cowboom will be here Thursday and I can patiently wait for the first next-gen price drop.

I get what you're saying, but it amazes me how people tend to forget that is just a FF thing. VII and X are just as bad(and sometimes worse).
Yeah but I was like 13 when I played those. I still think FF13 is the worst thanks to I want to be a hero and other nonsense from the (unlikeable) cast.

I don't know why, but I enjoyed FF XII the most. Something about the world, the gambit system, and the hunting monsters aspect made it seem like a living, breathing world. I would love it if Square Enix remade it.

I loved it aswell, but the story was kinda absent for a lot of the game

Plus configuring the party's commands felt like i was filling in for the lack of AI scripted by devs

I'd like another open world offline MMO style of ff. But maybe instead of gambits have coop?

Well that's just not true. Comparing XIII's writing to VII and X? You must be one of those who's in love with IV and VI and hates everything that comes after. VII and X were the pinnacle of the Final Fantasy series, though I look forward to XV surpassing that.

If it ever freaking comes out.

Also I look forward to KH3.

7 will always be my favorite final fantasy. I will have to pull back out all my old ones, and replay them since I don't remember much.

Hopefully, they show something at the TGS this year. The earliest I would expect is Jan/Feb 2015. Latest would be Jan/Feb 2016. But then again. All that waiting. smh.

Kingdom Hearts III is one game I am definitely excited for. And after all this waiting, too. We were waiting for Kingdom Hearts III almost as long as Versus XIII, which is of course XV now. So excited for both.

I should probably be happy for my wallet's sake, but I miss the days when I was finding multiple good deals on AWD every week.

I got an Azurite 250GB PS3 bundle for $150 (G, dinger) from AWD back in April and today AWD has them listed for $300+.. and that's for just a used, previously owned system.

I am ignorant of how the AWD pricing algorithm works but I'm kind of sad that the days of getting really good prices on like-new systems and games seem to be over, at least for the stuff I've been watching.

Give it time. Don't give up hope. It's bound to swing the other way eventually.

anyone know the specifics of returning an AWD already used video game if it works and all.  I don't even care if it's a full refund but honestly after 20 minutes i just don't want to to ever play it again and a return is easier than having to sell it.

anyone?

Go to the order in your account and click the return thing and fill it out. If it's not defective they'll take $5 off for return shipping if you do a prepaid label or you can pay return shipping through USPS and it should be around $3 for a standard game. Otherwise you should get a full refund.
