F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition does products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. However, some people have reported that games were in no so scratched condition with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.
warehouse deals has monster hunter tri bundle for $36, can get a new one for $39, does the used one get any cheaper anyone know? buy that with my gift cards, or keep saving for an eventual warehouse ps3 ;-) ?
The warehouse deals $36 used is game only.
I'm positive it's a Gamestop sticker. It's the yellow "Used" stickers they used about a few months ago before switching to the white "Pre-owned" stickers. It's stuck on the spine of the paper insert, which is what many Gamestop stores used to do. I don't really care considering the fact that everything else about it looks near perfect (disc is buffed to almost spotless condition and manual looks untouched.) and I removed it safely. I am not talking about the "Used-Like New" sticker on the plastic; this is on the paper insert.
Interesting. I wonder how Amazon is tracking their inventory with having stickers over the UPC like that. My copy of Wrestlemania was sealed, having the yellow sticker over it's UPC.
Just got a copy of Super Smash Brothers (GC), and its DOA. Looks like a truck ran over the disk.
Sorry, dude, my CDL training isn't going too well ...
I had a Gamecube game arrive with a 5-year-old Gamestop receipt inside.
Wow, I thought I was the only one who put the original store receipt inside the game case.

I've been pretty unhappy with the quality of some of the product I've received from AWD lately. I too have seen the gamestop stickers and the ps1 games I've ordered always come with destroyed cases.

are AWD games also tradein games as well? CAG'ers might take good care of their games, but others who sell games to amazon probably don't.

You act like this isn't a 100+ page thread full of people who have gotten games from AWD in perfect condition, some even sealed.

Warehouse deals has a ratings system and lists what condition the items are in. If you're not happy with condition, return the item. It's as simple as that.

Oh I was just replying to the above posters dislike of AWD service, I've read enough pages to know how good AWD games can come in =-) I just haven't memorized prices yet.

I think it is hit and miss sometimes. Things I've ordered DSXL(brand new, busted up box.) Nintendo Wii(Brand new, with a gash in the box). Metal gear solid the twin snakes(Small scratch on title side of disc, non-issue for me.) Fire Emblem(perfect but non gc case) Tales of Symphonia(Perfect) House of the dead Overkill, House of the dead 1,2, Resident Evil the Umbrella chronicles(perfect for all 3) Metal gear solid portable ops. (perfect). Amazon warehouse has saved me a ton of money and allowed me to get older games in great condition for cheap prices that would be nearly otherwise impossible.
Not only was my SMT Nocturne flawless and complete, it also came with the soundtrack. Director's Cut baby. =] $21 shipped.
Wow, pretty awesome. Wish I had ordered it to replace my defective copy.

Aww boy, am I happy. Also got a flawless Hoshigami Ruining Blue Earth Remix on DS for $12, and a sealed MK Armageddon on Wii for $16.

They are actually priced very well for Amazon - they are just below other sellers, and with it being Amazon, I bet they will sell relatively soon.

Dang. They're still getting snatched up for that price.

Those are hardly PS3 "deals" per-say. I just picked up a ps3 slim for $150 of craiglist and it came with 3 games and 3 bluray movies. Don't know how they think $50 off is a deal when it's s used product. Might as well just pay the $50 at that rate to get a new 160.

After further looking, those 120gb ps3's are not even in stock. They are pre-emptively selling them. " Back-ordered. Due in stock October 2 -- order now to reserve yours"

Maybe they set up returned orders before they arrive now?

I just meant if you order now it's not going to be shipped for another week or so. (the 2nd is a Saturday, so it will probably ship Monday at the earliest)
Damn, that didn't last long... I would have bought that in a heartbeat.
I passed on it, I'm hoping my 2005 model that has already been repaired for RROD will continue to limp along for many months (or years...) to come.

I received my copy of need for speed underground 2 (GC). It came with the disc, manual, and cover art, but was placed in a generic dvd case.
Nintendo DSI XL burgandy 1 used from $145.99

edit: doesn't seem like much of a deal to me, but if you are going to buy one soon anyway...
On Amazon's original site it's $143 used shipped. Although you don't get the "A-Z Guarantee", it's a few bucks cheaper.

in this case you should always stick with amazon warehouse if it's just a few bucks cheaper..

Got my $33 copy of Civilization 5 today and the activation key was unused. Description said unoriginal packing, but it looks normal to me. Only thing visibly wrong with it is the slip-on cover is half torn in a couple spots.

Now get to find out if my old computer can run this game.
Got Samurai Shodown Sen for $12.99. This was a great price for me. 360 exclusive baby. =]
