Take all of them to your local Charles Schwab and tell him you want to retire in 10 years with $10 million dollars. He'll probably charge you one Dedede but it'll be worth it in 10 years when you're retired and swimming in money/bitches.

Speaking of Super Mario 3D World, I just picked it up at Kmart for 42 something.  Another Kmart had Mario and Luigi Dream Team for 18 bucks.  Since they're phasing out electronics, you may want to hit up your local Kmarts before making that deal...Ike x DDD might only cost around 30 bucks for you having bought them retail at a store but...finding them again would probably cost you more vs. getting ahold of Super Mario 3D World.

I decided to offer King DDD and a little cash for the game but he passed.

I'm gonna wait to find a pretty good deal on 3D World. I've seen good deals on Wii U games on Craigslist pretty often.

Just keep in mind DDD prices have dropped pretty harshly. When it first came out you could get $60 for it alone, now its around $30 shiped

Just picked up my Mega Man and Sonic from Gamestop. These were two of the more desired Amiibos for me as they are childhood favorite game characters. They also look nice.

I seriously don't understand this. I mean, Ike has dropped too but looking at eBay auctions, there's roughly 50% more Ikes than Dededes so I don't get why they're roughly the same price. I traded quite a premium for my first Dedede and am glad I waited for a second since prices plummeted but I was expecting Dedede to stay in the $40+ range.

On another note, stopped in at a GameStop (not my usual store) and spotted a single Sonic on the wall. This makes the first time I've seen any wave 3 (excluding Sheik/Toon Link, which just came in a few days ago) at any GameStop, so that's something.

Who knows. Could just be that scalpers got a hold of this one a lot more. One thing I noticed on ebay with amiibos is that the obvious scalpers (ones selling with 5+ available) usually list theirs below market so they can turn out their inventory faster. My theory is that with all the shipping delays surrounding 3b, the initial entries on ebay were from amiibo collectors or resellers who found them in the wild and afterwards the scalpers took over and listed them at a lower price and flooded the market.

I think it has to do more with association with Marth, the same very well may happen to Robin and Lucina.

Though I admittedly have no idea how many Ike's were produced vs. DDD's produced, I think there is a perception that Ike is more rare based at least partly on GS cutoff dates (Ike was cutoff sooner) plus if I remember correctly they initially limited Ike to 1 per customer but didn't do the same for DDD.

Precisely my case. Nostalgia is the main factor when selecting my Amiibo.
 
Guys I need your opinion should I resort to eBay for Pit and Falcon and Little Mac or do I wait it out and see if they pop up in stores?
 
I stopped at a BBY today to get a ZAGG shield for my new 3DS and have it installed, so I looked at the Amiibo section and they had 3 Sonics and 2 Mega Mans.  I thought about buying some to return to GS so I could save some money and just passed on the hassle.

They also had Toon Links, Sheiks and Bowsers.

its honestly been like that for awhile, if its on your way i would stop in but I wouldn't go out my way thinking they will restock anytime soon on ike or dedede again.

I'm in a similar boat. Just need Marth. I've been watching a few auctions and looks like European ones are ending at around $45 dlvd, which I can swallow for 1 amiibo as long as I know I'm getting it mint.

My meijer has received 2 restocks of Wave 3 so far, so it doesn't hurt to check. But yea, I wouldnt drive an hour or anything lol
