I called another Walmart and they didn't know much about what I was talking about BUT they were super helpful, figured it out, found some on a truck, and will have them available at midnight. Plan to show up around 11 PM. Hoping that's early enough.

So one walmart near me has 8 in stock, in the back, and is not putting them out until tomorrow. They are not a 24 hour walmart and the clerk went back to try adn get me one and came out having been intercepted by a manager, who told me no and to come back at 7.

Going to drive over to the 24 hour walmart in half an hour or so, see how that goes...

Don't worry about the 6x6x6 box, when I got a DDD and Ike it said 6x6x6 but came in a much bigger box, that's Walmart's FedEx default.

At my Walmart, there are just two of us waiting. The stock kid who is bringing them out is grabbing one for me. Woo.
 
I hit WM while I was out. I saw the shelf tag, so I brought it to an employee to ask if they already put them out. He said he isn;t allowed to tell how many they have, but he said they will go out at midnight as well as the Mario Party CE.

stopped by the cerritos, ca walmart. theyre getting 4 gold mario amiibos and for some reason, they wont be selling them until 12pm. at least, the guy told me to check back tomorrow after noon. im guessing they might put them on shelves in the morning. one person is already waiting for them too.

 
Sure enough. My Walmart has no idea about a Gold Amiibo or if they can sell them at midnight. Lol. Why of all places did Nintendo decide to go with Walmart? These people are barely functioning human beings.
