Wow ... just  fuck WOW !!! The first time I was ever actually in front of the pc with the browser open, and constantly refreshing ... And I missed it. Never saw it ... went from error to sold out in a minute.

Its because of this that I just want to quit already .. this should not be happening. Its Rosalina all over again unfortunately.

 
I'm not going to make the same mistake for Ness......I will order 2 if I have a chance in case some of my friends don't get theirs. Now I remember why I don't get amiibo. I just want Ness mainly and Zero Suit Samus.

Feels like a second. From the second the pre-order button went up until it went down I was clicking to add to cart and getting an error. Didn't even get to the cart. This is fucking stupid.

 
Wasted too much time putting in shipping address and what not. By the time I went to confirm purchase it was too late. Amiibo hunting is like playing Dark Souls, almost makes me want to rage quit, almost.
 
Well, I'm sure it'll be up a few times for preorder before 5/29. If I can't get a preorder in, I'll wait at Target on 05/29. Did it for Roselina and it wasn't too bad.
 
Please, keep posting that you got your confirmation emails. We're all very impressed and relieved for you.

I'm not wasting my time on this crap again. I was gone for 4 minutes and miss Jigglypuff. I have no doubt they will post it back up, but if they do it in the middle of the night like they did with Rosalina, I'll just be wait outside May 29th. Last couple waves took a lot out of me trying to preorder and get everything. Not this time. I'd almost rather pay a premium just I don't have to deal with it again. I love the hunt, but I need a break from it.

 
I was also there right when the button went live on both my phone and desktop, yet I got nothing. The Nintendo Direct was great at getting us all excited about upcoming products, but then reality sets in when trying to actually order one.
 
Yea, I was on the page the whole time, and it wouldn't work for me, kept giving me an error over and over. no luck here. 

The window had to have been about 2 seconds max realistically.

Your right this ridiculous , Target still is by far the worst out of the major retailers regarding pre order.Its either up at obscene times or up for a handful a minutes if at that.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. This exact same shit happened with Gold Mario. I'm here the literal second things go live with my browser open and don't even have a chance. It makes no sense, not sure if I'm just the unluckiest person in this thread or if there's so cosmic joy a higher being takes in watching me stand out waiting for these shits.

The worst part is that so many people got to order two, and Jiggly is the only one released so far I actually want two of because I want to use her in the game. Zero chance my fucking Target lets me buy two day of anyway.

I don't get why people are complaining about putting down ~$14 up from vice a $5 place holder...
if that little difference is going to make or break you, then maybe amiibos shouldn't be a priority in your life...
 
After all the replies, I'm seeing a possible correlation. Was anyone able to preorder using a computer only? Or were the only successful people using the Target app?

Did Target.com screw me over for using a computer to preorder?

 
Guys, not funny.  April Fools was yesterday.

I was hitting add to cart the whole time you guys were saying orders were going through and only got the error.  No pre-orders actually happened yet.

...right?

 
There was about a 5 minute window from when people said they got one to when it sold out. I tried for a couple minutes on 2 different browsers on my computer and when that didn't work I switched to my phone and it worked fine. It was up for at least 5 minutes, but I don't know if it ever worked on a computer.

Honest advice here... I have had a heck of a time with past pre-orders and do seem to have more luck on mobile. When days like today occur, I have an iPhone 6, a Droid, and my PC (with Chrome AND Firefox up) because you never know which site will glitch with what platform.

I had success in ordering on the iPhone 6 today. This next part is likely obvious, but also make sure your payment & address info is already saved so you can just click Add to Cart then Checkout without worrying. One lesson I learned is Order First, Ask Questions Later (verify correct order)

 
Damn we're getting a lot of casualties from this war , Ferrai if you are here make sure to make a Movie about this one , JigglyPuff was one of the most brutal ones yet.
