It's not too difficult, only thing that's kind of a hassle is that you have to send them a copy of your ID (digitally). by the way, is anyone else having trouble connecting to Tenso's website? It's taking ages to load for me.

Tenso is a package forwarding service.

Basically, Amazon.co.jp will not ship Amiibo's to the US, so you need to sign up with a package forwarding service, like Tenso.

They'll give you a shipping address in Japan, which you use when you submit your order on Amazon JP.

When the package is received by them, you'll get an e-mail that your package is ready to be sent to your US address, and you'll be able to choose different speeds for delivery for different prices.

Only quirk is that you'll need to e-mail a scan/picture of ID with your shipping address, to sign up for Tenso, due to Japanese regulations.

For a single figure, I'd say the shipping costs around $11-$16 USD, depending on the weight, and if you want surface vs. EMS shipping.

It's better to buy at least 3 figures, then the shipping will be $15-$23 USD, which breaks down to about $5-$8 USD per figure.

Plus, you're saving about $2 on each Amiibo because of the favorable exchange rate, so it's not that much more expensive than if you were to buy them in the US. Besides that, people were paying $5.99 shipping for Greninja from Toys R Us, on top of the already-inflated $13.99 markup, that's $20 before tax.

Lots of people in this thread did not preorder at launch and support nintendo until they saw they were a hot item. Those of us who wanted to support nintendo and went to GS and put down $5 for a figure should get the benefit of having a collectible.

If you guys don't really care about having the original, then the reprint should be good enough.

maybe of us thought nintendo was smart enough to print enough and to print more. Not just discontinue the ones they feel won't sell?

it's funny that kirby is now rarer.

 
Finally got a Marth randomly. Just got to work and checked quickly. $12.99 listing was up in the "New" tab and I was thinking it was a ghost. One-click bought and it went through, although it did charge me shipping despite Prime. CS said it was a glitch and fixed it.

Finally got the one Amiibo I really needed, since it is my damn last name!  :D/

 
I've been trying with no luck. Every time it runs out at random points during checkout. It seems that Amazon times it exactly when I'm driving to and from work.

 
I was actually able to click the 1 click button a few minutes ago (without having to sign in twice), only for Marth to go oos from the selected seller. Missed it by at most 15 seconds.

Marth will flicker in and out while being OOS for at least 20minutes after he's gone.  You weren't really close unless you saw one added to your cart.

Nothing within 30 miles of me but at least 16 stores within 100 miles. Hopefully these will keep trickling in.

Also, now that GS sells used Amiibo with rarer ones at higher prices, hope they don't open the product and sell as used to get a bigger profit.

so I was close yesterday without using 1click. Added to cart, resigned in, removed at checkout. Never used 1click so not sure what actually occurs once it's clicked.

Here in central California. First gs reports not arrived today but two coming, second reports none coming though employee didn't check at all(sketch), called third guy didn't seem like he knew but said some are coming and haven't recieved today's shipment

Tl;dr: no marth yet in cali
