Yes!!!!! Got an order in for the Splatoon 3-pack Amiibo from Best Buy at 3:07, right before it sold out!!!!! $27.99 ($30.23 after NYS tax) after GCU. Please, no cancellation... 😒

damn I keep missing the page alert. Only once have I actually gotten it in cart. Do you use an addon or just refresh yourself?

I didn't even get an alert. I was just browsing my emails and saw that I got an alert at 10:11 this morning. I missed it due to working at the time.

I decided to check Best Buy around 3:05 and the pre-order button was up. I pre-ordered as fast as I could. It sold out right after that.

I used the official Best Buy app on my Android smartphone.

So, NWS just sent out a cryptic tweet that said if you present the tweet to them at 4pm today you can get "that one amiibo that got away" (limit 2 per customer).  Wonder if that means they have them ALL available? If so, could one of our regular generous CAGs swing by and pick me up a Villager? :D

I saw that, I'm really curious what that means. I would assume that means they have stock of every amiibo, but who knows. I've been pretty much distancing myself from the wave 4 launch, I was lucky enough to get preorders for everyone but Greninja, I'm just hoping they'll throw some up on TRU.com on Friday, because there's no way I'd get to one until 6 or 7pm that day.

Yeah, unfortunately all of my normal NYC contacts are unavailable today or out of town so I literally would have to hope one of the NYC regulars that pops in there could help out. They say that you need to "present them this tweet" though, so I guess it wouldn't be for just anyone walking into the store? Weird either way. But I can see them literally having every amiibo right now, its the only store in America.

 
Just called and they won't even tell me which ones they've got over the phone -- just telling me to come down and I'll likely be very happy I made the trip!  :wall:

Looks like Silver Mario may have been available at Target.com.

Right now it's showing in stock on the mobile site, but says it just went out of stock when trying to add to cart. Might work on desktop.

thanks for the heads up. Once my friend gets a Villager, I will keep you in mind.

I got there around 4:04 and there were about a dozen people ahead of me...outside! I planned on getting Villager and Pit (and then trade for either JPN/EU version + cash and then trade those to a friend as he gave up on being an inbox collector). Villager was gone by the time I was allowed inside. I saw that several people were getting 2 Pits or 2 Little Macs so planned to get 2 Pits. Right before I got to the table to choose the amiibo (not the register), Little Mac ran out. I asked for 2 Pits but was declined (again I saw several people in line with 2 Pits or 2 Little Macs) so got WFT. I ended up paying at around 4:22. As I was leaving the store walking past the line outside, I saw a friend running from down the block - he only wanted Falcon. I asked if he could secure a Pit as well. I ended up texting him priority in case Pit was out too. Pit and WFT were next to go... and then Captain Falcon... so my friend got pissed and just left.

WAVE 4 WAS NOT THERE

I understand Walmart (especially in NJ) is filled with people who are barely functioning, but now seeing some Targets aren't honoring street date is not cool. Here's to hoping my home store is competent so that my camping out will be worthwhile.
 
They are probably registered locked anyway. You should worry about those hiding them in the store.

just got an email that my jigglypuff shipped from target. really surprised considering i used the wrong billing address but it was a red card.

I've never bought any amiibo because I was afraid of becoming an addiction. however, for the price of 8 bucks each (BB sale right now), I can buy 6 figurines for 54 bucks, the ones I really want (mario, luigi, bowser, pikachu, yoshi and peach). Do you guys recommend buying at this price or do you think it might get cheaper? thank you

 
I've never bought any amiibo because I was afraid of becoming an addiction. however, for the price of 8 bucks each (BB sale right now), I can buy 6 figurines for 54 bucks, the ones I really want (mario, luigi, bowser, pikachu, yoshi and peach). Do you guys recommend buying at this price or do you think it might get cheaper? thank you

i dont think it can get cheaper than that. the "biggest" sale they had on these amiibos was when they had that $5 off coupon from kongregate, making each amiibos cost $8.47 total (tax depending on state).

They were $6.50 before tax a few nights ago and during the B2G1 if you had GCU they were $6.93 before tax. $8 is a good price, but you should be able to get commons slightly cheaper. To me, the patience to get the savings is not worth it and I'd get it now for $8 each.

on the contrary, mine was a legitimate sale ;) but yeah, im probably going to hold out on the "commons" and hope for another awesome sale. spending on these at MSRP can really add up.

Touche. Although, I guess my real point was that even with glitch savings it's not really worth it to wait since the savings is not really that much. I don't think they will be $3 any time soon.
