What gets me is that unless you are a prime member, which I see little use in now that GCU is so good, you have to pay shipping.

They waived my Bowser Jr shipping, so I'm happy. Approximately 19 bucks an amiibo, only about 5 bucks more than MSRP here in the States, and I get them 2 months early. I'm very content.

 
I might be alone on this, but, I love hearing we'll know what time it is and that it's during normal business hours.  My workplace has an extremely good connection, and, I've had great success in the past getting limited/collector's stuff from Amazon this way.

Plus, my city only has a Walmart...so anytime camping out is involved at other stores, I can't be there for that.

Heh, 15 minutes. More like 15 seconds. I remember having trouble with Lucina's page loading properly and by the time I did a refresh, she was gone.

 
Why are people upset with her being Amazon exclusive? No camping. No going out. The entire stock is one place. It's not going to be like lucina or robin or othet restocks lol.

Im worried on how many they will have, I personally dont mind online only but amazon makes me think it will be much harder than other retailers. Also everyone will be on at the same time to get her, that page is going to be loading very slowly

I hope I am completely wrong

They'll have the entire us stock (outside of what Nintendo world store might get which won't be a lot if any). I really dont think it will be that bad at all.

No I was. Lucina and robin was spread across several retailers. If you think palutena stock is going to be anywhere near as small as thier lucina and robin stock then you aren't thinking logically.

The rest of wave 4 was there a good amount and amazon will for sure have a lot more palutena than pac man.

Yeah, I don't get why so many people are against this... this isn't perfect but this sounds like a much better plan than refreshing every second from 2-6AM every day to try and get Rosalina, Jiggly, or Gren.

Given the recent restocks, I would think that Nintendo upped the production numbers. I'm honestly not all that worried about being able to get one of these.

You make a valid point, also with it just being her released that day we wont have to worry about trying to get different amiibo, so a lot of people can one click buy and everything.

One, Jiggly was a restock. Two, Jiggly is a ball of pink plastic with eyes. Look at all the detail work on Palutena. I'd imagine that's why the FE characters are rarer than the rest, due to time per unit to paint, etc.

These arent hand painted so I highly doubt thats much of a factor.

You are talking about very different parts of our organization,” Fils-Aime said. “Amiibo is really a supply chain challenge and process right now: Getting the core design, building the mold, managing the production. Our amiibo are hand-painted. So it’s a very intricate supply chain.

I dont think the whole thing is hand painted, since they all look very similar. If they were completely then we would see major variations in them. Unless they have only one person doing it, so they can make the process similar.

Yes sir. I ended up with multiples Ness and Pits. About to return them now to Gamestop and Walmart since everyone was able to get them without the need for a scalper middle-man. Still waiting on Marth and Villager restocks. When were those reprints made on wide-scale? What's that? They weren't? SYFM

 
Has anyone been able to sign up for the email from Amazon? I've been trying for hours but it never changes to show I'm already signed up.
 
Right? If you have extras hold them and give them to a friend or something for a holiday. Christmas sneaks up quicker than you think and I know a Ness amiibo would make one hell of a gift. 

 
I'm completely out of the loop on Amiibo at this point. The only one I still want to get is ZSS. What I'm wondering is:

Has a date been set when we can pre-order her yet?

If not, does anyone have a ball park estimate regarding when that might happen?

I'm interested in the US release, BTW. I guess I need to specify that since she's out already in some other region, from what I heard.

If there's any sort of page that gets updated with this sort of info, please let me know. I hate to ask such a noobish question here, but I have no idea how to find this sort of info other than reading through page after page in threads like this one.

 
Did they really make that many Pits? I still need him. I missed that restock by an hour or two. If anyone is willing to sell at a reasonable price Pm me!

Was heading to Best Buy today, and decided to hit up Gamestop while I was in the area, to do my usual futile check to see if any Nesses are in stock.  They had a pre-owned one!  Someone must have traded it in earlier today, as they hadn't processed it yet.  I waited 10 mins while they threw it into a bag and printed the price tag.

Santa came early this year!

 
Anyone else get a tracking number from Target for their Rosalina or Jigglypuff order on Friday, but not have the tracking number show that Target has actually shipped the order? It's been sitting at "shipping label created" for 3 days now, which is starting to concern me because Target is usually good about shipping things pretty promptly. I certainly hope they didn't oversell the stock and that they're just stalling until they get more or something.
