So I got my order of Rosalina and Jigglypuff today. Like many others, mine came in a box barely big enough for one, much less both. Both are smashed down to just above the character (I'm surprised that the characters aren't damaged). I thankfully take them out of the box, otherwise I'd be pissed.

So I guess moral of this experience: if you order from Target.com, hope it isn't coming from the Edwardsville, Illinois warehouse. Also you may want to order them individually because ordering two is like playing Russian Roulette.

Yes, by the production dates on the box. If you look at the cardboard on the back, you'll see a alpha-numeric code imprinted on there that shows the production month and year. Using that, you can find out what run it is.

I've been trying to find a website or something that keeps track of the production codes but have not found one.

 
I received my order for Jigglypuff and Rosalina today and like others mine came in a smallish box but it was just big enough to sandwich two Amiibo facing opposite directions inside w/o damaging the packaging. I also managed to snag a restock of Wario/Charizard today at my Gamestop. As a long time lurker, this wasn't necessarily what I envisioned as a first post situation, heh.

Anyway, I'm still on the hunt for a Pit NIB in my area but no dice and I missed the last major restock from Walmart which seems to have dried them up :(

I read that target will have pit on their website one of these days, maybe set up an alert for that. I read this so im not 100% if its true.

Speaking of target, I have wii fit trainer tab open if she goes live, what are the chances of this or did they go through their stock?

My recent Rosalina and Jigglypuff orders were packaged exactly the same.

 
I posted this in the trade thread but I feel like it doesnt reach a wide enough audience.

I have a Greninja that I just want cost + shipping for. The box is not mint though. If anyone is interested please send me a PM.

 
Best Buy Canada had a small restock of Gold Mario earlier this week, but it was probably leftover stock from the initial shipment. Walmart appears to be the least interested out of all the major retailers in stocking amiibo. I'm sure if they pressured Nintendo for more stock they could get another production run since it's hard for any manufacturer to say no to Walmart, but that seems unlikely at this point.

 
Realized I never got a Charizard, called the nearest GS to work today, had it held, now I've got the complete set again. Can't believe I forgot about Charizard..

Get a checklist app, that's what I got, I know there free ones but I use amiibuddy it's great and they do alerts but they suck at that.. Check it out

Ahh, thanks for this! Turns out a lot of mine are reprints. Oh well, good thing I'm not THAT crazy of a collector lol.

I was there as well. Was hopeful for something other than Fox and Dedede which I already have, oh well.

Amazon.de had Lucario in-stock yesterday. If you're willing to order international you can probably snag a few other rares if you need them to lower the shipping cost.

We just stopped in at a Gamestop and picked up a Charizard, Ness and Wario.

For me I ordered the New 3DS deal from Staples.

WFT and Roslina from target came in, I dodged a bullet as both didn't have any air cushions, but neither were banged up at all.

 
My Rosalina and Jiggs came smushed in those small boxes. I like to imagine the packer who does it is laughing maniacally and knows exactly what he or she is doing. But honestly aside from the blemished plastic, they look great! I must have lower standards because it only slightly bothers me.  

 
I lucked out with my Jiggly and Rosalina as I ordered them seperately but minutes apart so they mailed them seperately.  Both were loose in the target box but no damage to either.

Thanks for the sanity check. Gods I hate TRU. As a Transformer collector I already consider them the devil for their exclusives, and other than Lucina and Robin (cuz ain't nobody got dem) they're the only things keeping me from a complete US set thus far. grrrrr...
