Grabbed all three fighters in one order then Game and watch in another...........Asked their customer service could they combine and they couldn't but did take off the shipping on my first order WHOOP WHOOP!!!

They now have 8 bit mario classic color up for preorder and ships to US. Still no modern color that ships to the US and it looks like the Miis are still OOS...blah.

 
Trust me I knew all about classic Mario, been stalking that site since the wave first went up... If it wasn't for the amiibuddies app I would of been screwed thou, plus I love using it to make sure I'm up to date
 
Glad about those numbers. Was so awesome cruising in 30 minutes before opening for Dark Pit.

Not planning on camping out 2-3 hours in advance anymore when importing is a valid option now.
 
So the 3DS Amiibo reader is no longer preorderable in store at GS unless you do a web-in-store preorder and pay in full.

Will this be GC Adapter 2.0?

An employee at my local TRU told me a few weeks ago that TRU was sitting on tons of WFT in the warehouse but for some reason they weren't shipping to stores. Maybe they have finally started moving.

I've been waiting what feels like forever for these to go up on Best Buy. With my luck they will go up when I'm nowhere near a computer for several hours, or sleeping.

The Sept 11th date was chosen because it's the Friday closest to Sunday, Sept 13th, which is the 30th anniversary of the release of Super Mario Bros in Japan.

The irony here is that only a few years ago, Nintendo used to release games on Sunday. But they switched to Friday, probably to give gamers the entire weekend to enjoy their newly-bought game (or maybe not to upset people who observe the Sabbath).

Nintendo is being very careful in saying the release date is the 11th of September and not September 11th. Those are two totally different things!!

I was just going to point this out lol.
I understand why they're being so careful in making sure all adds say it exactly that way, but I can't help chuckling every time I see "The 11th of September".

Another reason: if the release is happening in all regions, it ensures that everyone will be getting it on the same day (whereas in the past, America would always be two days behind Europe).

So much for hopes of the U.S. getting the Mario maker amiibo bundle. The amiibo appears to be a must have with the game so if I can't get the classic Mario amiibo (30th anniversary going to make it sell even better) then I will be pissed off. Let's hope they are as abundant as silver Mario's but I have a feeling they are going to be really hard to find especially the cooler classic looking one the modern color one can go straight to hell right along with the dumb voice added to modern mario. I prefer Mario to be the strong silent type.

Is this just speculation about the US not getting the bundle, or has it been confirmed by Nintendo?

 
Speculation. It hasn't been confirmed, and it was mentioned during E3 treehouse live that we would be getting the bundle.
EDIT: Although, if we don't see it by the end of this week I guess that would pretty much confirm it. Shoulda been up by now.
