Guys! Keep trying! I literally just placed an in-store pickup order and got an order confirmation email. YAY! Still not doing my homework!

Edit: Now if only the Blue Yoshi would pop up while I'm watching. He's my second favorite (purple is where it's at!).

The Green Yarn Yoshi is gonna be sold alone right? Not all that interested in the game and reviews so far have been somewhat mixed. 

 
For some reason every BB in a 200 mile radius is available to do store pickups except the one less than 5 miles from me. Anyone else have a similar problem?

Next nearest would be a 35 mile drive, Keep GS order and pay $7.xx+ more or use GCU and drive the mileage...

That's basically it. The game is very niche and as long as you go into it knowing that's all you do, then you're good. All other core elements of AC are not in this.

My problem was worse. I was never able to get any stores to show up aside from 3 and I have a lot of Best Buys around me. In addition, I was only able to see those 3 stores (and only 1 at a time though) all at different times earlier by randomly refreshing. And no, I wasn't using the app or mobile.

I'm having this problem as well...Wtf.
My closest store comes up for AC:HHD, but not for the Yoshi Bundle.
The closest BB that comes up requires a toll that would pretty much make GCU useless. Idk what to do. :/

Getting the same issue here too. I can get animal close...but yoshi wants me to drive 19miles.

 
I have 6 best buy stores within an hour of me. But not one will go through with in store pick up of woolly world. The closest one that will let me do in store pick up is over 3 hrs away. It is odd because it is a tiny best buy which never even usually gets amiibos in stock. I have tried using a phone, laptop, and iPad.

I would love to use my gamer's club discount. But no way will I travel that far. I guess amazon gets my business.

I asked what the cards will do in Amiibo Festival. You answered that you can import houses from one game to the other. That says nothing about the cards use in Amiibo Festival whatsoever.

I looked into it. It looks like they are used in mini-games.

 
Same here.  My 2 closet BB's don't even show up as a store choice.  Closest choice for me is 17 miles away.  Not happening.  
Hopefully BB will update the other store locations soon enough and we can all get in with our GCU discount.

Ok, glad I'm not the only one with this issue, I'm just going to have to assume they fix it while I'm traveling today.

JIC I went ahead and locked in a pickup at the store 90 miles away (where my wife's Mother lives) since it was on the list.

What an odd error.

But that's what they do in amiibo festival. They are just background pieces to the game board as you walk the spaces.

Probably not an error. I looked last night after pre-orders went live and all 3 BB's near me were available for pick-up. I looked again this morning (about 10 or 11 hours after it went up) and now only 1 in the state is still taking pre-orders. I'm guessing each store is only getting a certain allotment and once that's all claimed it's no longer an option?

That's my guess anyways.

Yeah, I would agree. Though it appears reach store is getting a miniscule amount as I've seen local stores disappear rather quickly as I've rechecked them.

 
lol I doubt those were from the restock (assuming he's even telling the truth..... Mac AND Villager?  I doubt it), we'd have seen a lot more posts and reports on the restock if it had started popping up yet.

Besides I was at our local store Monday and they had nothing.  Not even shelf space allocated for Mac/Villager lol.

Seriously, remember how crazy this thread went when Gamestop restocked on Ness and DDD?  

Edit:  I went ahead and called the store just to verify what I was saying, and sure enough the employee almost laughed at me saying that AFATK they've never had either in stock.  Ever.  Certainly not recently.  Obviously that's just my local store and they've never been good for amiibo but still worth noting I think.

It may be possible tru got villager + Mac yesterday as stores were receiving n3ds bundle, hhd bundle, amiibo cards. Since Nintendo like everything to go live on the same day along with certain amiibo and coinciding games (villager + hhd)

It's also possible he's a liar lol

I don't mean to imply anybody is a liar, but a Mac and Villager at the same time? I think you'd have better odds of getting struck by lightning while you are winning the lottery.

I thought about the new AC game, but that wouldn't explain Little Mac lol.

OK let me reword. After looking into customer complaints we have decided to look into our Best Buy app. People have given up feedback about how the app doesn't work correctly. Don't worry our app team is looking into this issue and we will be fixing it soon.

After BB screwed up my SSB bundle, I don't trust them with these types of deals.  I still use my GCU for regular games, but I pre-ordered the Yoshi bundle elsewhere..

I haven't seen anyone with pre-orders for Animal Crossing cards.  I noticed that my local Gamestop is showing them as in-stock, but is it safe to assume they won't be selling them yet?  I preorded the game as part of my daughter's birthday gift a few weeks ago and she has a GS gift card she wants to use towards cards.  If I can't preorder any, I won't be able to get them till the evening on Friday, and I have a feeling they'll be gone by then.

just wondering, has anyone tried preordering the cards in store at either gamestop or best buy?  Best Buy still hasn't update the product page.  have to do a trade so might ask if I see some of the competent gaming people.

does anyone recall what retailers sold the KI:U cards?

It's the classic bait and switch.  Nintendo now has full grown men and women buying Pokemon cards again, under the guise of 'Amiibos'.  You gotta admit, that's pretty impressive. 

 
Quick question, Walmart refunds you if you forget to pick up your online order from the store?

Forgot about my ganondorf amiibo since i got it elsewhere and don't think I have enough time to pick it up and return it.
