Wow. How short were you after the first box (or did you open them all at once?) Is it mainly the chase cards? Are some like one to a box?

My kid collects pokemon cards, and there's basically no way you're getting a complete set unless you buy a ton of boxes because of the rarity.

As far as other characters, maybe I was just dreaming this, but didn't they say early on that the cards would be a way for people to get dlc if they miss out on the figures? Though I don't think they've announced anything other than the AC sets.

How does BB enforce the GCU limits? Do they just not discount it at the register, or do they send you some notification or something? I've never gone past the 3 copy limit...

Guess I'm glad I never played an AC game.  Saved me a ton of money with all the new amiibo/cards etc.  Guess I'll just leave and continue my hunt for the other 100+ Kid Icarus cards I'm missing...

 
Does anyone know the rarity of the cards? I got a foil Isabelle card from my New 3ds bundle. I have a hunch it is a rare card but I have no clue.

I wonder if the cards that come in the N3ds bundle or game bundle are prest or justa random special (foil).

I'll be picking up some packs later and have some being shipped. There were oevr 200 packs at TRU so I should just get these at BB using GCU (will exceed limit on 2nd account) and wait for some B2G1 type of promo.

My friend's New 3DS bundle didn't come with Isabelle, so they are random there too.

Now this...... this really, really pisses me off. My ZSS/Olimar site to store order is STILL in limbo. I know our store has plenty of Olimar, but even if they didn't they are still selling ZSS they could obviously fill my order. Just WTF is going on there?

I'd really be ready to start shit with them if I hadn't gotten my order filled elsewhere.

Just picked up system from GS. They said I could purchase as many cards as I want. I bought 3 packs. Will not collect them all. I was caught up in the moment.
 
Went to gamestop this morning to pick up my retro pack day 1 preorder and my nephew wanted to go as well. We go there at 10 and he got an Olimar and I got my retro pack. They had them in big boxes behind the counter & I told my nephew he better get them if he likes them. He was short on money so I loaned him the rest & we left happy. The retro pack is the best looking amiibo yet the R.O.B. is so detailed better than I could have imagined. We then went to walmart & they were in the process of making the amiibo section larger and has probably 20+ Ganondorf and Olimar & this at a store that has had the same amiibo in stock for months. I'm thinking Nintendo is getting the supply issues under control especially since they made the space for amiibo twice as large as before.

Poke and Nobody are right. I should be totally ok with giving Wal-Mart an order and them holding it in limbo forever while still selling the same damn item to other people. How dare I express the slightest dissatisfaction at this totally fair and reasonable turn of events!

Just picked up my Retro 3-pack from GS, they had probably a dozen on the shelf with at least a few more in boxes behind the counter.  Really impressed with the details on these.  I got a second for my brother in-law since he said he missed out at his store.

And I got home to find my Shulk from a CAG trade arrived in great shape!  Woohoo!

 
Just got back from Gamestop with the retros.  According to the sales rep the 3 pack is popular today for some reason.

I called BB and was told they had no limit b/ were all sold out so I bought 6 more packs from Meijer.

Mine too. The fuck is this shit? My ZSS order from over 2 weeks ago is still in processing...

I was kinda happy about this wave b/c I was able to order most everything online (besides Bowser Jr, which no TRU around me has) but so far, it's been kinda shitty.

ZSS is sitting at WM processing.

Olimar arrived with a folded card due to being in a box too small (thanks Amazon).

Ganondorf is all kinds of fucked up thanks to Newegg shipping him in a bubble mailer.

Dr Mario is sitting in shipping limbo.

Classic Mario from GS was cancelled due to not being able to process payment... even though I paid with a GC and the GC balance is gone.

Bowser Jr is nowhere to be found, one TRU got in a huge shipment of them and is apparently holding them for people (they didn't get a shipment on release day).

Redditor found Little Macs and Foxes at a TRU in NJ. Didn't find much today but saw a bunch of Olimar and Zero Suit Samus at almost every store I went to (Best Buys, Game stops)

My amiibo cards from Amazon and BBY both say they were delivered, but the packages are nowhere to be found. That certainly puts a damper on my day.

 
Wow can I go into gamestop just once and pick up a pre-order without encountering neck beards that refuse to bathe?  I pick up the rob/dH/game n watch pack today and the place was just oozing with smelly neck beards all over the place.  Oh well, for every failure in the world it just one less person you have to worry about competing against.

I ran into a neckbread once. He refused to shut up about various baking related games and shows. He even had a Cooking Mama tattoo.

The fucker smelled like burnt toast too, and his beard was lumpy and moldy.

Every time I go to a Gamestop there's always a couple trashy looking people that smell bad.

I did. Nothing. My actual Animal Crossing game was in there, but not any of my cards.

Amazon sent me a replacement, BBY did nothing for me.

I stopped at TRU today and they had nothing much except a bunch of Bowser Jr.

They did have the new AC amiibo cards and they are eligible for the Buy 1 get 1 40% off deal currently going on. Of course the price is slightly hiked ($6.99) so the deal only works out to being slightly better than normal.

UPS delivered my card order from BB today and the wind had started blowing the small package away since it was so light. Glad I picked it up a few minutes after it was dropped off!

What if the people complaining about other people are the same people being described by the others?

Something I think about when im in public and see someone dressed not as nice is you dont know what is going on in that persons life.
