Thanks to two awesome CAG members on here, I now have Rosalina and Little Mac in my collection! I'm now only needing Marth and Villager for complete waves of 1 & 2 and just looking to secure a Shulk for a complete wave 3. Now to just find a Villager under $70...

From what I recall, having the 3 exclusives tied to your purchase account (ID etc used to setup for preordering and guess certain purchases) the 2nd day was the only time NW really limited purchases. sure there was the 1 per purchase thing but I know lots of people would drop in every hour for those type of things (that was how I snagged 2 gcn adapters, going before and after work one day when it was 1 per person). I think when the rare 3 came back one day, I read someone was able to get 2 sets as they were already there when the rare 3 started selling (probably got heads up).

Also I don't drive like most NY people so would have to take the bus to get to TRU/Target or far off train to really bad areas... Some do have close decent TRU/Target but those are more rural areas.

I am ranting. The heads up some people get from NW workers is simlar to a when a BB/GS/TRU/Target/Walmart employee provides news about stock for their store. Only difference is that those retailers have a set schedule (ie they know a bunch of X is going to arrive sometime before Y and have an idea on numbers). At NW, I'd imagine only a few workers actually know those details and the rest learn that day. Some choose to share with some select customers.

Reselling is also similar but possibly worse as NW workers are guaranteed a copy of any rare item or non-standard game edition. I'd estimate there are probably 2-3 dozen people on NW payroll

I didn't, I ordered online to pay at pick up. I contacted GS earlier through chat and was told those orders were cancelled =/, now I'm on the hunt for Ike, Shulk, Dedede and Sonic

I pre-ordered those on Gamestop also but chose to have them shipped to me and I received an email saying all but Shulk were backordered. My status still shows open on the website.

Yeah, I actually went yesterday and that's why I contacted the live chat today.

Something is not right with my orders.

I have Shulk, Ike, Dedede, Sonic, MM 3ds case, Toad and Code STEAM pre ordered separated. All wave 3 are closed on my account and the rest are open.

I asked my store to check my orders and the only one that came up was Shulk, the rep said that's all they see in their system, she even printed it and showed to me.

Why wouldn't code STEAM appear under my account for example?

I'm not counting on getting any of my pre orders now

 
My last TRU order showed up today. Big box for two amiibo, with one single air bubble.

Thankfully, there was no damage to the two figures!

LM seems seriously out of print or some shit. It's crazy that NWS got a restock of all the rare Wave 2's BUT LM.

Note on Metaknight though. Rep I was talking to mentioned that the contract with BB doesn't allow them to sell it before release so BB may be your best shot for a metaknight until weeks later.... until I learn what I said is wrong and end up posting about how they have metaknight in stock of course

 
I have a "closed" status on two GS amiibo orders. I have one with Sheik and Sonic and another with Ike and Megaman. Hoping this just means the store is receiving them or something.

 
Got a call from Game Stop today letting me know that The Wave 4 Super Mario Amiibos are now reservable. I was kind of hoping they were calling to let me know my Shulk was available for pickup.
 
Doubtful. Wouldn't put it past GS to use that as an excuse to get large shipments of shulks that they're only gonna release to the public pre-owned around release date thoguh 

 
Man, it's really annoying that our GS orders are "Closed" and you can't even check online that it's been shipped to the store. It's like we are stuck in limbo.
 
Just went into my local Hastings to grab something un-amiibo related but happened to just glance at it then took a second look and amongst all the commons were three captain falcons. No idea why they just now decided to put them up, I go in there about twice a week and first time seeing them.

 
guys calm down about your GS in store preorders, we will get texts likely on thursday advising that our preorders are ready for pickup

2/13 will be Ike, Sheik, Toon Link, Dede, Shulk

2/20 will be Sonic, Mega Man

Thanks to two awesome CAG members on here, my daughter got her Rosalina that she wanted since I started collecting these and Little Mac "the punchy guy". It was a good Amiibo Friday in my household.

 
Just received shipping confirmation for Shulk from GS - hopefully it will be packaged well...

When I picked up my bowser, they specifically did not put the labels on the preordered ones; however, I imagine this could vary depending on the store/staff.
 
I got my villager from amazon.de today!!! Finally! Also for those looking, wii fit trainer was available at retail on amazon.de just a few minutes ago.
 
Wishing I had a place by me with Captain Falcon. Never saw him around. My wife once saw three Lil Mac figures at Meijer, but we didn't have a Wii U at the time. I am buying them to use and I love the Falcon Kick (not so much the punch). Pit is just awesome looking (mostly the wings). If anyone has an open one, I am looking.

On topic, my Sheik and Toon Link have shipped from Wal-Mart.
