I just put in orders for Wave 3's at Newegg, Amazon, and Best Buy. I hope Nintendo or whoever sorts this out by the third wave though, There is probably a frisbee on the conveyor as we type.

Assuming it's a glitch. How will they give back our pre-orders? I don't see how a company wouldn't honor there pre-order since that defeats the purpose of a pre-order in the first place.

 
So are in-store preorders for Lucario still available at TRU? Want to get this shit pre-ordered quick since they cancelled my online one.

 
fuck first Best Buy, now TRU!! Anyone think the pit and falcon amiibos will come out today? i'm debating if I should stay up to go to TRU. I really don't want to miss out on any...

Well I don't know about all of them but you can buy stuff no problem from Amazon UK and the BBC sets I've gotten from there were like $8 to ship. I would assume the French and German ones are similar if people are ordering from there.

I know amazon.jp will not let you directly ship to the states. You need to use a 3rd party to ship your stuff to and have them ship it to you. The German site seemed to let me use my address, but it was just more expensive. France had the best price (I think) so I just went and ordered Rosalina and Lucario. I hope they can be trusted.

Amazon ships globally. Amazon.fr (France) and Amazon.de (Germany) will ship to the US, just at a higher shipping cost (obviously). Amazon.jr (Japan) does not ship internationally, at least I do not believe so.

Best part is if you have an US Amazon account, you can sign into both France and Germany Amazon website

 
Just got an email from Target saying my Diddy Kong order had been put on backorder with a new estimated date between 01/09-01/27. I placed the order on 12/08 BTW.

The only question now is when I'll get the cancellation email for my bb preorder.

Ended up using Amazon France and got lucario and rosalina for $39 shipped. Not too bad I guess and worth the extra $10 or so to not have to worry about anymore of this bs. (Until this order gets cancelled too that is)
 
Got the same email from target or all my wave 2 preorders, which I'll take as a good sign. It's not a complete wash like my TRU wave 3 preorders that were all canned. Here's hoping the lucario i preordered in store is still good to go

 
You give tru you're email when you preorder. No cancellation email from my in store lucario preorder. I think in store preorders are safe.
 
Looks like Amazon UK is sold out of Lucario pre-orders, but it seems they're still up on Amazon.fr and Amazon.de if anyone else got reamed by TRU as well.
 
Also got the cancellation email from TRU for my Lucario preorder that had been placed on Nov 23. From seeing pretty much the entire community having their preorders cancelled at nearly the same time, this seems more like a glitch in their system or something. Not sure how they could possibly be that short of stock unless the production factory exploded or something. Gonna see how this plays out a bit (or if TRU addresses this at all) before getting too worried about it.

It's a bit of consolation at least that TRU seems to be the most well-stocked with Amiibos of any store by far, at least in my experience. Somehow even if preorders don't end up working out, I wouldn't think they'd have TOO short of supply in stores on their own store-exclusive. Unless El Hoardo shows up and buys like 40 of em, which is sadly a very real likelihood. Still better than Target though, where the Amiibo shelf space is much, much more limited, and will probably make Rosalina a lot harder to find.

Maybe I'm just being too optimistic though. I'd like to think these things shouldn't be so ridiculously hard to come by, and it'll be nice if/when nobody has to worry about it anymore and can just buy the ones they want hassle-free.

 
2 days ago the east coast woke up to Rosalina being sold out, and now they will wake up to their pre-orders being canceled. lol. This all really sucks, but there is some humor in it.

 
When we preordered using the cards in store the didn't ask us for an email. I am guessing I need to go do it again and give them my email this time right?

 
Having just pre ordered Lucario in store this week, the cashier made me type in my email during purchase. Its also on file with my rewards card. I havent heard anything yet.
 
Ordered 2 Sonics yesterday and 2 Lucarios a week ago at TRU.com, and now both orders have been cancelled. I used $20 in certs on them too, i'm sure I'll get that back, right? Right?
