Calling it now: The Marth amiibo isn't a restock. It's the release of the Fire Emblem branded amiibo series with Marth included.

Soooo... did they actually mention any price on the system?  If it's $250 and like $280 for the MM bundle that's going to cool my excitement rather quickly.

 
They didn't mention a price in the US direct, Kotaku is reporting $200 for the regular, no idea on the special editionsn , but did they mention if they xome with their respective games or not?
 
The new packaging on Marth could very easily mention its use in Codename Steam.  Same pose and all, but not the same box.  Judging by the price disparity between Japan, Europe, and US, the box matters.

Just saw IGN say the NA one does not have the game preinstalled, Europe does.

I'm a little surprised NOA is screwing NA with not releasing the regular new 3DS. I know we get screwed on a lot, and lately its been worse, but this just seems like beating a dead horse.
 
So glad for the Majoras Mask new 3ds xl. Really wanted to buy the system but I was gonna hold off for a limited edition or for a design I liked.

As for the Amiibos, was I the only one kind of hoping they wouldn't announce wave 4 just yet? I just wanted a bit of a break before having to search for preorders or going store hunting again. At least a bit further than march would have been nice haha. Also I'm slightly annoyed they are releasing a Mario line so soon, mostly because it means my wallet is going to be hurting.

Called my GameStop. She said they got an e-mail this morning stating that they're doing a "$100 towards the new3dsXL with a trade-in of your old XL" promo. The funny thing? Gotta trade in your Charger too :p.

With the more generic packaging, I don't think the Mario Party ones will be a limited release. That's what I am going to tell myself to justify not buying at release.  My poor wallet can't take anymore.

 
So I preordered the MM XL online at gamestop just now, only got the cheap shipping because there's no free option anymore, that means I probably won't get it till about the 20th or so right? Never done their online preorders before.

Should have just run into one of the 8 stores around here. I just don't want to go out right now, I want to sleep some before it gets any later in the day.

 
So wait, originally my plan was to complete the entire amiibo collection (assumed it was going to be 48 figures to correspond to the Smash roster), so now there's going to be additional lines?! I think I'm just going to finish the smash set then call it quits.

Seeing as they're all popular Mario characters I would hope they would be easily available for some time. And since donkey kong, rosalina, and warri work with it that could be good news for us having difficulty ordering rosalina.

They said that from the beginning. That's why all of the current amiibos say Smash Brothers on them.
