Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. :)

I definitely plan to spruce up the site over time as I improve my coding skills and learn more modern HTML techniques, but for now I'm just happy I actually got all of the images & links working properly, haha! I'm hoping to get an optimized mobile version and possibly an app up in the near-future too. :D

 
Amazon.de had Shulk, Lucario, Meta Knight, and Rosalina up! Hooray! I've avoided ridiculous US retail exclusivity in one fell swoop! They also have Falcon if you're missing that (sadly no Pit or Little Mac). Shipping stays pretty much constant when you get past two items.

And...they're limiting it to 1 item per account! I love Germany! Thanks Google Translate!

I originally ordered just Meta Knight and Shulk, but saw Rosalina just come up as well...and then threw in Lucario, because why the heck not? I don't trust Toys R Us with my preorder. Wave 3 is done! I can finally stop! ...Wait, I can't...damn you Wave 4! I can never escape....

Edit: And....Rosalina's gone. Whew, I got lucky.

Mine shipped as well with an estimated date of jan 29th. Also, my Marth from Amazon.fr actually came 6 days before the estimate so it would be cool if rosalina was that early as well.
 
I still cannot order from any of the international sites. Is there a trick to having it shipped to me? I had it once but I decided not to order them but now I cant

if you mean amazon.de or amazon.it or any the amazon foreign sites it has to be sold by that amazon directly not third party so the problem you could be running into is that most the hard to find figures been sold out on alot the foreign sites.

 
Got my $11 Fox I ordered from BBY a few days ago.  Only legitimately good deal I've gotten on an Amiibo so far lol.

Didn't like the store pickup though.  They slap a sticker on the back of the card which would be a huge problem if I was going to keep it sealed.

Just use a blow dryer and the sticker will come right off.

Shipping was cheap. Their price is in pounds (£10.99 per Amiibo), which includes a VAT. One pound is about $1.50.

The Mario series amiibo are up for pre-order on Amazon Japan. Hopefully Amazon and others follow suit soon. I don't think they'll be hard to get, and I'm not getting all of them, but I do want Toad badly.

I got two emails from Wal-Mart. 1 saying Bowser delayed until Feb 6 and Mega Man until Feb 20. I have all wave 3 preordered there so if I get any more emails ill post but might be a good indication of wave 3 being split like wave 2.

Dirty rotten Walmart!  Speaking of the devil, I did my first in store pickup there yesterday and they were kind enough to plaster a gigantic sticker across the front.  It did not peel off easily and left nasty Wally residue all over.  That's karma for you, because I have a hatred for Walmart.

What I think is really ridiculous is that figures that haven't even been released yet are already sold out and out of production. Marth, Trainer, and Vllager probably saw low numbers due to a perceived lack of interest, especially since the latter two are awful on Smash Brothers, but Rosalina is a popular character, wanted by both the casual and hardcore. Her lack of availability is going to tick more people off than make them more voracious.

This whole thing has been a cluster fuck from the start. I would have gladly purchased/collected them all, but because of how this whole thing has been going, I'm sitting it out completely. Hype be damned, I'm not falling for it this time, Nintendo.

She has been featured in a lot of games on the Wii U honestly. Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario 3D World, I would say that her popularity has increased significantly.

It's a bit silly that they can't take automated ordered even. It's a religious thing though so I guess you can't fault them too much when plenty of restaurants and other businesses do the same thing.

I don't think that's late, that sounds like when all stores will be getting them. How can you say it's late when there's never been a release date given?
