When Game had pre-orders up, I got one in for Toad plus wave 4 minus Wario (wasn't available for some reason).

I would gladly pay a little extra so I don't have to go all over trying to hunt them down.

If I am able to get an order in at BB, then I can cancel the order from Game.

Guys, I took my work vacation the day after wave 4 was announced to get a chance to preorder at least one.  What a fail!

These are so under produced that retailers are probably secretly hording all of it themselves.

B&H officially (unofficially) not getting any Amiibo's. Spoke w/ customer service inquiring more about it. They finally managed to speak to Nintendo it seems and they aren't getting any apart from what's already in stock. 

Knew this might happen so nothing wrong. They cancelled my orders (I didn't request that, they did it themselves) and my money is back to me so nothing lost. The hunt continues!

 
Don't know if you guys saw, but the new Borderlands LE sold out in a blink of an eye, and at $400. What the hell is going on here? I am almost kinda sorta getting worried the same thing is going to happen with smash4/smb1/mp10 le.

There were only 10,000 of them or something fairly low and plenty of speculators. That's the world we live in now with internet pre-orders.

To be fair, there were only 5000 made and Borderlands has a pretty hardcore following... That said, I bet 25-50% of those will wind up on eBay. It does present cause for concern, this is happening with too many things here lately.

that is probably the knowledge of any customer service rep at any store, and people report what they say as fact. All they have is scripts they read from, they know nothing about amiibos or anything.

So dumb that those sold out already. I can't imagine there were that many rabid Borderlands fans that grabbed those all up. I'd hope that people who bought them to scalp get stuck with them.

That Borderlands thing is pretty cool, but 400$ is way too damn much. I brought the Destiny Ghost edition and still have the Ghost sitting in the damn box.

I wish they just had a steelbook edition

Also guessing no one else has stocked the MP10 bundle yet? Dont want to risk missing if its exclusive, but I have heard way too many Newegg horror stories.

None of the major retailers have the LE listed. Most (all except TRU) have the regular game listed. All of those but Best Buy now have the final box art as well.

plus theres a built in camera you can control with the app. that kinda made sense to me pricewise but we will see how the quality is. if its crap then overpriced, but i have the boarderlands 2 edition with the large crate full o crap and it was very well made so itll probably be ok.

I feel like a year or two from now we will see this sitting places fo rhalf price. or more. so dont feel bad if anyone cant afford or get it now.

$400 is crazy but it does come w/ Borderlands 2 and all its DLC. Plus all (it looks like) the DLC for The Pre-Sequel.

Yeah, just making a point that it comes with a lot of content. $400 isn't worth it for me since I'm not a huge fan. I'll get this when someone doesn't pick it up at Gamestop one year from now for dirt cheap. Assuming there are any left by than.
