Well time to do the WM Rundown, I'll even guess the order of the matches:
Match 1:
Eddie vs Rey Mysterio
Naturally Chavo will have to participate in the match in some fashion. With a heel turn so heavily expected I kind of have the feeling that the WWE will wait and let this one take place on SD! Look for Eddie to get the win via. Chavo interference teasing an Eddie heel turn, whilst pissing of Mysterio. Ultimately it will be Mysterio who turns in the next few weeks.
Match 2:
Kane vs Benoit vs Jericho vs Benjamin vs Edge vs Christian
The only money in the bank here, is that this match will probably be the best of the entire show. It's really a tough call as to who will pick up the win, since the title shot is guaranteed anytime in the next year. In fact I'd say this is easily the most unpredictable match of the show. I kind of think Benjamin may win, simply because he'd be defending the I/C title if he weren't in this match. I also think we may see Benoit or Jericho cost the other individual the match, setting up a match between the two at Backlash. Edge & Christian will likely reunite for a few spots, but I just can't see either one winning the match. That leaves Kane and Benjamin, with Kane's push the past few weeks seemingly halted by Batista on Raw during the lumberjack match, I can only assume that he's just been tossed in here for the sole purpose of kicking some ass for awhile, then losing. That brings me back to Benjamin, who is my pick to win.
Match 3:
Big Show vs Akebono
Not the most hyped match, and in all honesty I wouldn't be stunned if it got moved back in the card a bit. Anyway this one should be short. I wonder if it'll be like the Butterbean/Bart Gunn fight? If it's scripted expect the Big Show to win as Akebono stands nothing to gain, and Big Show could go around saying he defeated a grand champion Yokozuna. If it's a shoot my money is on Akebono all the way. Eh, let's go with Akebono regardless, to improve the WWE's international relations. Plus "celebrities" tend to win at WM.
Match 4:
30 man Battle Royal
Not sure exactly who is in this, what they win, or anything else. What I do know is Hassan will be involved in some way and Hassan will be tossed out immediately. Booker T has been mentioned as a potential winner, and that sounds pretty reasonable to me. Booker really should've been given an actual match, perhaps against Orlando Jordan for the US title. Oh well, it's entirely possible Jordan wins, but my money is on Booker T.
Match 5:
HBK vs. HBKurt
Undoubtely this will be the best one on one match of the evening. It's kind of hard to see either one of these guys losing this match at this point. I'd kind of like to see Kurt lose and then move to Raw to stir things up a bit, while one of the top faces from Raw goes to SD! Anyhow, I look for Michaels to win in the end, since Kurt has really been getting the best of the Heartbreak Kid on tv. If for some reason Kurt is able to prevail, look for a rematch at Backlash. Anyhow, I'm picking HBK.
Match 6:
Austin vs Piper
So, maybe this isn't booked as a match, but mark my words Austin will kick somebody's ass. Maybe it won't be Piper, but someone is getting stunned at WM21.
Match 7:
Trish Stratus vs. Christy Hemme
This match may even take place later, it's hard to say for sure. I expect Trish to win, with or without Lita's help. I don't think Lita will turn heel simply because she can't really wrestle right now. I'd like to see Matt Hardy return and give Lita and Christy the twist of fate and walk-off with Trish. Fantasy aside, reality says Trish retains.
Match 8 or 10:
John Cena vs JBL
JBL's title reign is already the longest since Diesel's back in the mid-90s. He's actually over with the fans and even with a good portion of the internet as a legit top heel and title holder. He'll never be convincing to me as the top guy, but since when did my opinion matter to Vince McMahon. In the end I expect JBL to finally drop the title to Cena. If Cena doesn't win now, he never will. The next SD! ppv is two months away, and Vince can use this time to give Cena a trial-run to so to speak as the champion, and if it doesn't work he can drop the belt at Judgment Day and not lose any of the momentum he's built up and popularity he has with the fans. The guy didn't drop the US Title for nothing, and since it's not being defended anyways (could've been like the Warrior-Hogan title for title match here) I fully expect John Cena to talk away as the champion. It's possible that this match is the last match, so the fans leave "happy"
Match 9:
Randy Orton vs. The Undertaker
This is really a lose-lose situation. On one hand you've got a rising star in Randy Orton. He's had a brief title run and is now looking to take his game to the next level as a heel. I could easily see Orton being shipped over to SD! so he doesn't have to be involved with Triple H, of course I could also see Orton rejoining Evolution. Then you've got Undertaker and his very impressive 12-0 undefeated streak at Wrestlemania. Orton has easily got the best of Taker on tv, attacking him on multiple occasions. All logic suggest that therefore Taker must win. Normally logic doesn't apply to the WWE, but here I see Undertaker picking up the win. I also see Orton jumping over to SD! to feud with the new champion John Cena.
Match 10 or 8:
HHH vs. Batista
This match has gotten the most hype, and will probably be the main event, but I could be wrong, and the whole SD!/Raw main event rotation could come into play. Plus I don't really see this being the greatest match ever, in fact it's gonna look down right horrid compared to last years triple threat match. Batista is sure to score many o' near fall, but in the end somehow, someway Triple H will prevail. The real question is will it be clean or will he have help? Well, help outside of Flair. I'd be willing to say yes. Maybe Austin involves himself in the match, that'd be a good swerve, or hell even Hogan could leap over the barricade from his front row seat and interfere. In the end, it'll probably be someone like Mark Jindrak helping HHH pick up the win. Bottom line is HHH wins.
Winners:
Eddie
Benjamin
Akebono
Booker T
HBK
Trish
Cena
The Undertaker
Triple H
