The old thread hadn't been updated in quite some time, so I decided to make a new one. If you happen to see a sale not listed in the OP, go ahead and post it and I will be sure it's added. The same goes for anything listed that has expired as most sales have no set time frame, let me know and I will remove expired sales. Thanks!

I'll say this, it took three tries, but I finally have a working Sero 7 Pro and am very happy with it. For $50 I would definitely recommend it. It plays most games fine and runs great and has the same or more features than more expensive tablets.

The returns were also not a big hassle. Both times, Newegg provided return shipping labels and shipped me out a replacement quickly after they received the return. So I would definitely recommend it because even if you get a bad one, exchanging it is easy.
Three tries sounds like a few more than I'd prefer, but I suppose it would all be worth it if it worked out in the end.

Anyone know of any valid coupon codes I could use?

Yeah, it was not ideal. I'd preferably want the first one to have worked.

My first one had a faulty charging port. That was on Hisense since they should have tested it before sending it out. The second one had some WiFi connectivity and touchpad issues. That said, it was Newegg's fault because instead of sending me a new one they sent me a return that already had the seals broken. I don't know if this was an issue of a customer returning something without saying it was defective or Newegg just not caring. The third one was factory refurb sealed and has been working with no issues at all. A lot of people report a great one from the start so YMMV considering these are refurbs.

It seems Amazon has some bugs counting coins.  Earlier this morning, I had 1669 coins and decided to buy an additional hero slot in Dungeon Heroes.  It costs 99 coins with 30 coins back.  So it is a net cost of 69 coins.  Last I checked 1669 - 69 = 1600.  Yet now I have 1950 coins.

If you already own an app on Amazon and it gets updated to work with the Gary Busey Box do you have to rebuy it or no?

Ah, hmm. It sounds almost like you just got particularly unlucky. : P Either way, doesn't sound too terrible, so I think I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

edit: By the way, that Dolphin Up game is wonderful. Best dollar I've spent in a while.

A lot of the GOOD kemco games are on sale right now on Google Play... Chrome Wolf is only 99 cents right now. Here is hoping the Amazon store catches these deals too.

Amazon's free app of the day is a Gin Rummy game that s superb if that's your thing

News ones found at Special Discounts:

Monuments of Manhattan Videoguide - $11.11 Free (7/18 only)

Eggy Words - $0.99 Free

Eggy Alphabet - $1.99 Free

Sago Mini Space Explorer - $2.99 Free

Yeah, didn't work for me...only got 150 coins back. I think some people are getting confused by the 250 coin bonus you get when you purchase your first app from the Amazon App Store or some such.
I thought the same for that MLB Team Kit for Mapquest that was giving people an extra 250 Amazon Coins back. Many people who had already gotten the 250 Amazon Coins for the their first purchase were able to get another 250 when they got the MLB Team Kit for Mapquest. I didn't.

I had some Amazon Coins to burn so I decided to get the Allcast Premium upgrade. I only got 150 back as well. It's so screwy how some are getting the 400, but others are not.

Is Chrome Wolf the best one or something? I see a few on sale for $0.99, I'm not sure which to get.

Looks like the sale is over at the end of the month.

A few others are 50% off.

After trying one Kemco game and finding it to be extremely generic and boring I'm highly reluctant to try another.

We added a FireTV to our household last month so there's another app source for us.

They're always "50% off". It's an eternal sale I guess.
Well, not all those games are always $0.99. They're actually more like 80% off.

A retro A-RPG called Lvln is free at GPS. Has IAP and a kinda ugly looking virtual controller. It's free on Amazon right now, though it's not available for many devices (maybe just Kindles).

Anyone else enjoying Angry Birds Epic? I think the attack/block/special UI is pretty slick, and there's juuust enough grinding necessary to not be either easy or a money grab. Have a feeling I'm going to hit a wall of difficulty soon, though--I just beat the (first?) dungeon on level 7, and the bad guys are getting a bit tougher.

Right, the 99 cents is definitely a sale for Kemco and I buy them all when they go that price for some unknown reason because I find them bland and generic truthfully.

The ones for the 'special price 50% off $3.99' though are LIES ALL LIES (insert Frau Farbinssina picture because I'm mobile).

They're like a Chinese restaurant that leaves their grand opening sign up for 5 years. Not really fooling anybody

Chrome Wolf actually has a great story, character classes, and even a tank battle system. It's their best game IMHO and I love JRPGs, specifically of the 8 and 16 bit variety.

Some of my favorites are FFV, Suikoden, and Xenogears for what it's worth...

Yes that's me giving a solid endorsement for one dollar well spent.

Well Soul of Deva is reduced to 99 cent on Amazon now... either the other titles aren't on Amazon app store or my phone, lg g2, isn't compatible. I share this account with my ole lady and she doesn't have chrome wolf but loved playing it on my phone, I got it from the play store, I'm hoping I get lucky and her phone is compatible.

May need to remove Heroes of Dragon Age from my phone. It's taking up too much space (500 mb), and while it's slightly entertaining you can't easily tell stats of heroes to determine optimal party placement, text is too small....

Hate that even though I still have 200-300 mb left on my phone, I can't d/l a 40mb update. Can't play Knights and Dragons until I install the update, so something's got to go.

Alright, I just downloaded Chrome Wolf. Even though you say that's their best, do you think any others are worth playing?

Alphadia 1 and 2 and knight of the earthends are interesting. Most kemco games kinda suck honestly but Chrome Wolf is honestly comparable to the games I mentioned. I downloaded soul of deva but Havnt loaded it up yet

Thanks for recommending Chrome Wolf. It's not quite as good as the 16-bit classics you mentioned but it's miles above their other games. How about you buy all the Kemco .99 RPGs and tell us which are worth playing? The best thing about Chrome Wolf is that it actually seems like it was translated by a native English speaker which is more than you can say for most of those games.

Have you completed the story yet? That's what I was basing my opinion on... its kind of a big deal in RPGs

What a dickhead request btw... why don't you buy some and tell everyone about them... that's like standing in line at McDonald's and asking the person in front of you to spend their own money on something they weren't planning on purchasing and then demanding that they give you a review on it before you make your purchase...

Juice, WHOA, it was sarcasm, it was a joke. Im a dick most of the time & I saw that jokingly.

White, next time, put some smileys or start off with *sarcasm* Ive been around CAG for a while, people get sensative around here.

PS. Can you go to Mcdonalds and try some of those Bacon clubhouse sammiches? I demand to know how they are before I buy one! =P~ Oh and I dont like onions, so please consider that in your review.

Yeah, sorry I wasn't clear about joking. I actually already bought all the .99 Kemco games that were in this sale and the previous one because I have serious issues. I just haven't played them much because most of them are generic. In hindsight, buying that many was pretty dumb considering my dollar could have gone towards more Zen Pinball tables. That Amazon coin rebate is still going on! It's been like a seven-month promotion thus far.

I'm the same way. I find their games generic and bland but I somehow feel compelled to buy them when they go 99 cents even though that money would be better spent on something I like and will play.

Alphadia was ok, but Eve of the Genesis is terrible. 99 cents is a bit much for a game that looks like ass and allows you to get to the end of the game simply by using auto-battle.

Suikoden, FFV, and Xenogears. I'm sold.

Finally got around to playing Wayward Souls. Yeah, I can see this getting a bit addictive. And for what it's worth, I'm not having any problems playing it on the small screen of my Nexus 5.

I've been looking forward to this game for a long time, but I'm going to hold out for the PC release.

Speaking of Kemco, just got this in email:

Band of Monsters is free (for a limited time?)

In celebration of +1,000,000 Machine Knight downloads!

RPG Band of Monsters available on the App Store and on Google Play will be priced down to free to celebrate the one million downloads of RPG Machine Knight on Google Play! Standard price is $7.99, but no more payment is needed for download!

A young monster tamer, Zara, can tame monsters using the "tuning" technique. One day, he meets a mysterious girl named Fene, also called the "Pendulum". Probably permanently. On the Play Store, once an app listing is made free, it cannot go back to being a paid app, unless the developer creates another listing. Of course, they could always just mark the free listing as hidden and re-list the paid version afterwards, but that would be far too much trouble for a variety of reasons.

Play Store has various sales on comics by Brian K. Vaughan. Many of them are piddling ($1 off the first volume of Runaways!) but the first volume of Saga (a scifi/fantasy series that's won some big awards) is $5. His Swamp Thing run (which I don't think is all that acclaimed) is also half off.

Carmageddon has done that several times when they've made a (full) version free for a day.

Yeah, Crazy Taxi did the same. It's so weird that Google Play won't let apps be free. Amazon and Apple let that happen all the time. Plus, Google's now changing how it lists F2P games (in Europe).
