The old thread hadn't been updated in quite some time, so I decided to make a new one. If you happen to see a sale not listed in the OP, go ahead and post it and I will be sure it's added. The same goes for anything listed that has expired as most sales have no set time frame, let me know and I will remove expired sales. Thanks!

Wayward Souls currently gives 150 coins back with purchase (499 coins) from Amazon! It's pretty much all I've been playing for over a week.

Sadly, all I've accomplished so far is beating the Mines (Humphrey) with the Warrior and the Adventurer.
Late response, but thank you for posting this. This game looks amazing, it totally reminds me of Secret of Evermore. Definitely picking this up since I have tons of Amazon coins to spend :D/

Side note: Dear Square-Enix/Google, please put FFVI on sale.

I'm really tempted to get this just to see if it works on the OUYA.

There's a new Shield Tablet with controller. *shrug*

Also if you live near a Half Price Books some of the ones I've been in have that MOGA controller marked way down cheap.
This tablet is a BEAST(and the price is great), sadly, once you buy all the intended accessories, the price goes up accordingly, but for the basic tablet, It's an AWESOME deal. I'm looking forward to Nvidia updating the portable unit down the road, with improved form factor, faster processing and new bells and whistles.

I've actually been using my Shield a lot over these last few weeks, as I just started playing Darksiders through their GRID service. It's so nice to play full PC titles on a handheld, and I don't even need a compatible PC for this feature. Nvidia actually added Borderlands 1&2 yesterday along with some other games to go along with the tablet release. Great lineup of devices with true "Gamers" in mind.

I want to say $10ish but there's one near where I work so I'll stop by and report back later.

They had a bunch last time I looked about a week ago so no rush on getting it. You could probably wait until they do another 50% off coupon even. They didn't exactly seem to be flying off the shelves.

No locations for Half Price Books here in South Florida. Thanks for posting that though.

Does the SHIELD controller only work on that tablet or can it work on other tablets like my Asus Memopad?

A Gamestop near me had the original MOGA controller for $17 new. It came with a couple game downloads too (Sonic CD was one, I can't remember the other).

I believe it is wifi direct instead of bluetooth so it will only work with the nvidia tablet.

The other was a modern combat game, I wanna say 4. I bought that when MOGA had that sale & sold them for $5. Honestly I kinda regret it. It was just clunky to me & I never really used it. Sure it worked well but idk just wasnt as great as I hoped it would be.

We might have another big giveaway of apps on Amazon for this Thursday & Friday.

Australia & Japan both have a bunch of free apps they are giving away. It's already Thursday in those countries.

Has that ever worked on apps? Seems like Amazon would need to get the dev's permission to price match. It certainly hasn't worked with the recent Final Fantasy sales.
I believe the Amazon app store terms are quite onerous for developers, in that Amazon can adjust the price whenever and at their discretion. Whether they have any internal mechanism to adjust app prices is a separate matter.

Well, sometimes the price drops are simultaneous. They were for the one Kemco game on the Appstore that went down to $0.99 recently, at least.

Damn, I want to get Assassin's Creed but it won't let me buy it because my device isn't compatible. Is there an easy way around this?
Same issue for me. I hate when devs stupidly limit the compatibility like that. My tablet could run it easily. I've asked Ubisoft to open up compatibility for the EVGA Tegra Note, so here's hoping it happens before the sale ends.

Yep, Mines of Mars is now $1.99 on Amazon which def is price matched from the Google play summer sale.

I would rather use the coins but was about to drop some credit on it. Naturally its back to normal price on the play store.

There is a lot of free apps on Amazon today. Most have been FAOTD before but there are a few new ones I think.
Yeah, I did noticed quite a few repeats. Still lots of new ones. Also, some pretty expensive ones too. I'll probably never use them though. Still it is nice to have them for free in case I ever do need/want them.

Don't forget about the FAOTD for 7/31 and to check the Special Discount section for any other freebies.

Shuttle+ Music Player - $0.99 FREE

You can also try this app, which I think you can use without rooting or leaving the Play Store. There's a lot of discussion about it on the XDA forums.

...and now Monument Valley is down to $1.99 on Amazon. :D/
Super glad to stand corrected. Link to the game, in case people are allergic to the search bar on Amazon.

Radian Games has some stuff on sale at Amazon, and 30 coins back for $0.99 games. Some of them have been FAOTD in the past, though. Most of the same sale prices at the Play Store.

I'm still looking for a decent card battling game. Something fast paced that you can play in short 5-10 minute bursts, similar to a match 3 game.

I've tried Epic Cards Battle, Elemental Kingdoms, Star Realms and Empire.

Most had screen size too small for a phone, or played out too slowly. (Or worse, just had auto battles where the computer did all the fighting)

Any recommendations for a good fun/quirky city building game similar to Simpsons Tapped Out (after playing it for a year, I got burnt out, deleted it and moved on)

Family guy Quest for stuff.

Google Play

Amazon

Almost exactly like Simpsons TO except I havent got bored of this one yet. I guess I like the jokes/humor better? Right now (I use the Google Play version) Quahog Comic con is going on, its quite tongue in cheek. You can get Patrick Stewart & George Takei! Oh MY!

thought about that, but I really don't like family guy's "remember this thing!" style of humor..

Tapped out was also getting way too grindy. I was spending 30 mins each day just visiting other towns and 'tapping' on friends just to earn decorations during the events.

I liked some of Kiwi's games like Westbound but you had to play those in a very specific order to not use up your 'energy' and then be forced to do IAP to keep playing.

So how do the updates work on this one? The main reason I stopped playing Tapped Out, other than burn out, was the fact that whenever it needed an update, even if it was just 13 MB, it demanded I have enough space for the entire game with all updates (usually around 500-600MB) available on my device. It made no sense because the game was already installed so why would it need all that available space each time?

I had both Family Guy and Simpsons on my tablet and deleted Family Guy for that very reason: Storage space.

Then again, this was during that time my tablet was running slow due to a series of free Amazon apps I installed from a few months back. Since I didn't spent much time on Family Guy, I figured I would reinstall on another device I buy in the future so my drive isn't crammed.

BTW, thanks for answering my question about the controller. I'd definitely like to get one if it's under $30.
