Hold up on that, Lana Del Ray rang up as $7.99 despite showing as 69 cents even in checkout.

I have to contact support for Lana Del Ray? Ugh, I don't even really like her, I just figured I'd blow some MP3 credit on this, damn it...

I dunno, I already got a refund but of course that takes 2-3 days to go through. Stupid.

I just downloaded the stuff anyways since it's still showing up on my account, so whether they remove it or not I don't really care. I keep all my music downloaded.

According to the description on the google play page, it has pass-and-play multiplayer for up to 4. Doesn't sound like any online multiplayer.

Looks like it comes with some of the IAPs unlocked:

Four skins, seven moves and the character Lester Knight from Another World are unlocked and included with the installation file.

I bought the game from Google Play last week. Lester already came unlocked.

Just nabbed Final Fantasy V & VI off the Play Store.  V seems to be fine and dany but VI has some choppy moments.  A few during battle but a almost always during any text dialogue that's in the middle of writing.  Can probably fix the lago with the dialogue via the config menu, to simply display all of it at once instead of slowly writing it on screen.  But the battle ones have me a bit worried, simply due to it's the start of the game so it's the battles aren't to animated, so what happens later on when I get the flashy spells and summons like ultima.

I should note though, I am almost entirely sure the issues is due to the fact my phone a few years old now.

May be a bit late in the game, but I've submitted price matches to Amazon for Gobliiins Trilogy and Ninja Village. I'd rather spend coins.

Also, has anyone tried the free Sherlock app? You get the first 2 cases for free. Amazon has an exclusive promo that gives you access to 6 cases for free until Aug. 19th.

Saw these prices for the IAPs on the iTunes store (wife has an iPhone, was checking to see if she could get the base app for free as well).

Cases 3-10 $2.99

Cases 3-6 $1.99

Cases 7-10 $1.99

If the app is as good as everyone says, I'll just spend the 299 coins to unlock all the cases.

It doesn't happen automatically, you have to specifically upload and download from the cloud separately, but it does work. For me at least.

There's a little cloud logo in the upper right hand corner of the title screen

Then it takes you to this screen where you can upload to and download from the cloud

Not sure which, if any, other FF games are cloud save enabled at the moment yet since I haven't bought the others yet.

I stand corrected. Still every review I've read about V & VI says no cloud support, and I didn't notice anything in game to say otherwise.

That would make sense, since III is full on remake/remaster. I think I'll hold out until they do the same to V and VI.

 
They already had that Square cloud save infrastructure in place anyway from their failed attempt to get people to buy the digital download re-release of FFVII PC outside of Steam so they might as well get some use out of it. :p

Hopefully they update their other mobile games to use it too because it really is a pain not to have. People switch between mobile devices quite frequently these days. Plus I like to try out different ROMs.

 
Not a deal, but a very notable new release: Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen; $14.99
 
So what's notable about it? Well, it's based on the DS remake of DQIV, but it includes the Party Chat feature, which was cut from the DS version's localization. Barring any major flaws popping up, this might be the definitive English version of DQIV.

 
A few new freebie apps have been added to the Special Discounts section on the Amazon appstore. Mostly little kids games or puzzles. See if there is anything you might like.

Dragon Quest VIII is up there, Chrono Trigger is up there, The World Ends With You is there... I wonder how much these rereleases and ports actually contribute to Square's coffers. Are there really that many people willing to pay $7.99-19.99 for Android games?

That's the thing. They're not "android games". They are "real games" on your android.

Yeah, I think that is how it is for the HD versions of apps on Amazon. I know the HD versions of Cut the Rope and Angry Birds are Kindle only.

Speaking of HD versions. The Rovio HD apps (makers of Angry Birds) are all $0.99 (normally $2.99).

Thanks for the heads up! I've never heard of it. Might as well get the 6 free cases while it's free on Amazon.

BTW, you need to buy the cases 3-6 for $0.00 via in-app purchase. So make sure you do that before August 19th.

I didn't say they weren't. I was remarking that $20 is high for mostly SNES games, but if Square can get people to pay that, more power to them. I am going to probably stick with their current PSN sale since the prices are better there.

Play on its own. Yup. I bought it myself. Totally works solo. There MAY be something that happens if you have the original installed. I don't know. But it does work on its own.
