The old thread hadn't been updated in quite some time, so I decided to make a new one. If you happen to see a sale not listed in the OP, go ahead and post it and I will be sure it's added. The same goes for anything listed that has expired as most sales have no set time frame, let me know and I will remove expired sales. Thanks!

Yeah I didn't know about the Newegg sale either.

On the update screen, where it was detailing everything in the 2.0 update, under the GRID section is where it stated a free copy of Arkham City. The offer is good for Shield Tablet owners until early next year some time.

Yeah the deal was posted somewhere, I think SD and I clicked it and then had to run.

I didn't read everything when it updated, wonder what we gotta do to get our free game?

I got the Lollipop update on my Shield Tablet today. It's okay. After it installed it constantly restarted my tablet for a while, and I had to rearrange everything from scratch (which was a huge nuisance). That seems to have stabilized. I wish they'd make moving apps/games to the SD card more useful though. The new update is over 600MB by the way.

What is cool though was that GRID is now part of the Shield HUB, and you can play about a dozen, granted slightly older, games for free. And supposedly Shield Tablet owners also get a copy of Batman: Arkham City for free.
I'm pretty sure you don't fully own the game. The game streaming thing is going to be a subscription service like OnLive was supposed to work. But it is free for all Shield owners until June of next year or something. It's basically an extended free trial. So you can play all the games they add to the streaming service for free until June, but after June you'll have to pay to continue to play them.

At least that's how I understand it.

Edit: Here's the link. http://shield.nvidia.com/grid-game-streaming/

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Klingon bastards, spent Amazon filth lucre (coins) on it....ahhhhh...at least it's worth it...it's a good game, I recommend it.
I also spent coins on it, agree on the recommendation. I don't think the paid dlc is available on android, the Dev has gotten a lot of flack about the paid dlc on iTunes store, but I'd probably buy it (with coins) on android. The game is short, but good.

it haz DLC ?!?!?!? Did not know....of course, I have an android so I guess it makes sense I don't know...

I understand. But the update description specifically mentioned a free copy of Batman:AC, not just to play Batman: AC. It doesn't matter to e. I have it on Xbox 360.

Worms 2, Worms 3 and Alien Breed are $1 on Amazon as well, though that seems to be their regular price.
Amazon hasn't been listing discounts that well--CamelCamelCamel, for instance, says Worms 3 was $5 earlier this month. So, they're on sale on Amazon, too.

I love Soul Calibur but $4? Hmm. How would you even play it with a touchscreen?
Having logged hundreds of hours with the arcade version of SC1 I still found it extremely difficult to pull off anything but the most basic moves with the touch screen controller.

Do you know what single-player modes are included in the Android version? Anything like Weapons Master from SC2?

The gameplay modes are limited to arcade, time attack, survival, and survival+ (see how long you can last w/o getting hit once).

Nvidia Shield Portable - On Black Friday the Nvidia Portable will be available for $199 and will come with a free carrying case and glossy black armor. Nvidia's on-demand game streaming service GRID will also be available for free. Regular price for this would be $258.

Nvidia 32GB LTE Shield Tablet - Of the two deals Nvidia is putting up for Black Friday, this is the best one. When you purchase a 32GB LTE Shield Tabler for $399 you will also get a free Shield game controller, the Green Box Bundle of games, as well as access to Nvidia's on-demand game streaming service GRID for free. The Green Box Bundle is that game bundle from Valve we have previously talked about which comes with Half-Life 2, Portal and introduces Half-Life 2: Episode One to Android as well. Regular price for this would be around $488.

Both promotions will be available on Nov. 28, 2014, from 12:01am PST to 11:59pm PST only. You can read more about this Black Friday sale, or purchase it through the Nvidia website when it launches, through the link below.

Not bad for the 32GB Shield Tablet. It's almost  worth the extra $100 just for double the internal space than the non-LTE version.

So caved and bought Baldur's Gate as I have had a lot of access to my tablet and very little to my laptop where I thought I was finally going to catch up with classics from the last decade. Really controls well. Minor gripage for some occasional selection difficulty but overall controls better than it has any right to considering its origins. Between it and Icewind Dale, which if I am lucky will have a black Friday sale, I might make it till Dragonfall. Or at least BG 2

Amazon has 10 apps free today (though I can't find a page on their site for it). Among them are previous freebies Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Riptide 2, and Rayman Jungle Run.

Here's a list I compiled.

LINK

Yeah, they appear to free because of the Verizon Connection Day.

For some reason that link doesn't mention the freebies. I found another link that someone on the forums on Amazon mentioned that lists all 10 free premium apps. You also get 2 free months of Audible for free (new customers) or $10 credit for existing members. If you are an existing customer you can cancel and you might be offered $20 credit and then just sign-up again for the 2 free months.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/fp.html?id=verizon&mn=1

I assume these freebies are for TODAY ONLY, so don't wait to get them. I had most of these already though. I think the only one I didn't have was the Danial Tiger app.

Australia has a list of $100+ freebies up now. Maybe the US will get some of the same apps tomorrow.

Hm. Not much to get excited about in there. Except for maybe Kemco's one RPG and Fairway Solitaire, I think all of them have been free at some point already.

Quoting you for turn-based strategy. Banner Saga is half price at $4.99 on Amazon. Well worth that price if you have coins (and the storage space - 4 GB available to install). Same price on Google Play if you have survey credit.

Edit: Doesn't appear to run on Lollipop, so you might want to pass if you have Android's latest.

I just noticed that and came to post lol. Looks like both record of agarest Wars are on sale too for 6.39. I hear they are touch screen optimized if not tablet optimized. Have you played either? I have 20 in play credit and 3 in amazon coins so I will grab banner saga on the play store but I will still be looking for more on both.

Edit: and just as I read droid gamer for reviews. I saw a news link stating Dragonfall will drop on Android Dec 4th no pricing yet but the 1st I think was 9.99 on release on Android. Hmmm. That only leaves me with 15 in Google credit if I go that route, after Banner Saga. Guess I will splurge and spend 2 more and get it on Amazon so I have some spare play credit.

Why, yes. I did enjoy Dragonfall how could you tell?

Ok, so for some reason I can't apply a partial payment of coins?  That's stupid.  So having learned the hard way and paid 4.99 for Banner Saga on Amazon.  I now have 4.34 in Amazon GC. $10 in Play Credit and 320 Amazon coins to go crazy with in black friday and Cyber Monday sales.

I was hoping to see AntiSquad Tactics go on sale too.  Still hoping Icewind Dale will as well but considering how recently it was released it may well be a pipedream.

I'm also a big fan of the strategy board games.  I have ticket to ride and carsconne though I haven't played them yet.  I prefer a more fantasy or sci-fi feel. I wish cosmic encounters or robo rally was released as an android version.

Looks like Talisman  is on sale for .99 on Google play.  Amazon hasn't match unfortunately.  I'd rather use coins since I know I have enough for that.  I'll submit a price match request but I don't know if they match apps.

Agarest games got too repetitive and grindy for me on ps3, but they're both gorgeous if you're into that sort of thing. I never finished either.

Huge board game fan myself. I play ticket to ride fairly often, and played a few games of carcassonne on my phone. Also have Catan, but I haven't played it yet. Don't know anything about the 2 you mentioned, but would probably give them a go if they're tabletop re-creations.

And December 4th, eh? I need to finish the first one yet, so I can wait for a sale. And hopefully rack up some more survey credit by then.

They're classic table top games but I don't think they've ever had a digital representation. Sentinels of the Multiverse is one I'd be looking at if it went on sale. It's based on a much more recent table top card game. It looks like it was just released towards the end of October though so I'm not sure we'll see a sale on it. I don't think it had a prior pc release that the coders already made the development costs back on.

Edit: And while graphics are nice, I'll past on grindy. Eventually I hit a point where I just stop playing and I do that far too often with stuff anyway. I'd rather find game I enjoy enough to complete.

I didn't realize SotM was out as a full game now on Google. Thanks for the heads up!

I actually just found out myself.

BTW love your avatar. Been years since I last read that comic or least I could do.

Edit: and I know carascarone has at least been bundled once cause that's where I got it from.
