I don't think its donating to town, I thought it was an accumulating total of items bought at Nooks? (^see Dingleberry's post)

Spent a couple hours last night trying to catch a coelacanth in Strell's rainy town... Failed miserably at that though I did get about 40K worth of other fish (2 tunas, football fish, red snapper, etc). I only ever SAW one of them, or at least I think it was one, since it looked different from everything else. It was about the size of a sea basstard (which I must have caught about 20 of), but a little skinnier - so keep an eye out for that when it's raining. On the first bite it was outta there so I know it was something rare and I can only assume it was the ccanth...

yeah i saw one of those last night in strells town too, one quick bite and it was gone. thats when i cussed in front of your kids... :oops:

double check just in case. i was having problems earlier with a friend. but then i was able to go to daisydogs town and they came to mine.
 
i've got a coconut. did anyone else get one? i planted my tree. hopefully i chose a good spot.

and i can't mail any letters to any cags. can you think of anything i might have done wrong?

ALSO: Confirmed that FC is only thing that matters. The rest fixes when you hook up with the person.

To add a comment to your character for online, do the following:
Point at screen to open semitransparent menu. Press A on the heart (friends). Press A on the key (friend code) in the new menu. Press A on the green box (comment) to add a comment. I recommend the format of [CAG] Doomed - Cherries where [CAG] identifies you as a cheap ass gamer, Doomed is your username, and cherries is your native fruit. Longer usernames may need to omit the [CAG] tag. This helps identify you beyond your name and town for easy username and fruit info.

I think it's still too early to say, considering how long we've had the game at this point. I've received letters from various CAG's neighbors (Elvis :lol:) but so have many others. We'll just have to wait and see.

It's listed as, but on various AC forums I go to, people have been complaining of Nook not upgrading, despite spending well over the 25k limit.

Same thing in my town - I've got 251 Nook points, which means I've spent 25,100 bells in his store, but he hasn't shown any signs of upgrading yet. I just finished my second mortgage now though, so maybe he'll upgrade with my house.

Wait, Tom Nook doesn't upgrade during holidays - and the entire month of November is a holiday, due to the mushroom festival.

dallow - tried to get into your town and got the "he already disconnected" or "removed you from his friends list" messages a few times (error 84xxx whatever)... Then I gave up. I'll be out for a while and will try to see if anyone's on in a few hours.

I have friends coming over so I can't feed my AC addiction tonight :whistle2:(

Oh and Neon Tetra's are small freshwater fishes at about 8AM-4PM according to a post on GameFaqs.

All times - probably fairly late with respect to you since I'm west coast. Don't worry - I'll let you know ASAP if one of the kids is around. I have 2 that tend to play with me and one can't read yet, so it's probably OK to be yourself when just he's around ;).

You get Nook points for visiting the store too (3 a day I think).

I found out earlier that you get 5 Nook Points for visiting someone else's town, don't know if you can do it multiple times though.

No, your town will stay however you left it when you head out.

Also, if I need to carry extra stuff that I'm not using, I simply attach them to letters as presents. This works for read and unread letters you have, so you get a few extra spaces for carrying stuff. One thing I was really hoping they'd implement is a backpack or something you could by for carrying extra things :cry:
 
I'll put my friend code later, but I can't believe I got sucked into AC once again.

I keep accepting to do some favors that require a net or junk thats really hard to find, haha. I have to find a freaking fossil for Frobert, a yellow tartan for some other dude, a pike, and a whole bunch of insects. Maybe I should've said no, lol. Also, the charm I got required for someone to send mail from my town hall. So, once I get my friend code, maybe a CAG can help? =d

Alright, I'm going to sleep - I left my gates open in case anyone wants to visit. The fortune teller says that someone has to pick 2 weeds for good luck, so feel free :) I've added everyone's friend code that is listed in the OP.
 
So, the 80430 error (or whatever it is)... has it been determined what is causing that? I searched the thread but didn't see any explanation on it.
 
Added/PM'ed everyone (except homeland since his PM box is full) with my friend code on the list up to Shaggy16. Just got the bundle with WiiSpeak last night so I haven't gotten to do much. Looking forward to playing with you all sometime!

Anyways, is anyone's Nook buying back turnips for more than 105? I really need to sell and don't want to take a loss. And our shop is closed because he is upgrading.

I just realized that your closet space is 160 items total. Even if you have two closets or dressers, you still have 160 storage spaces because the inventory is shared between them.
