There is an unlockable gyroid storage room located in the Roost (Brewster/K.K. Slider/Museum Area) that will be accessible if you order and successfully drink 7 coffees (must be hot and on separate days for 7 days) from Brewster (make sure you have a gyroid in your inventory) and talk to him at the side of the bar, he will take any and all gyriods but he will not take duplicates(if you have more than one tall lullaboid for example). This gyroid room is displayed as a list of the gyroids you have collected.

I have the gyroid storage too.
Doomed, after 7 coffees you have to have a gyroid ON you and talk to Brewster. Not talk to him when you sit down, but talk to him across the counter where you walk in.

Well damn. It just reeks of fake, and having already had multiple weeks worth of coffee (without a gyroid in my inventory) it seemed dumb. It makes about as much sense as this:

i herd u can unlock toed in super bros mele if u hit evry credit at t3h end and beat adventre on very hard lol
 
Damn... that's a shame it's not an actual room, it would be cool to have a little display room for your gyroids instead of having to keep them in an inventory.

And I like the idea of this secret room opening up in the cafe, all James Bond like, Brewster would pull the decaf carafe to open it up (since who the hell drinks decaf?)
 
Do any of you loves have Regal/Classic stuff on you or in your catalog?
Post what you have. I need a few things from each, I just don't know what at the moment.

I have a few regal/classic stuff in my catalog. -goes to turn on Wii-

I swear, I almost caught a Coalalnsltntahth. It was as big as a tuna or ray, but I couldn't complete the catch after it bit. =[

I found a treasure chest in the recycling bin. Waahoo
 
I'm going to be buying 10,000 bells worth of Turnips tomorrow. I hope you guys get Nook to pay big bells for them next week. I want to get 30x the profit hopefully. I don't want to have to go to Gamefaqs.
 
Only 10k? I bought 30k last week I think, ended up with 120k or so profit.

I'm planning on buying 70-80k worth tomorrow.

Also need to redecorate my place. The harvest stuff is getting old.
 
Just wanted to drop by and say I downloaded the Wii Speak Chat Channel.

It's strange. I had 44 blocks open. I try to download it. I can't - I need 51. So I delete an NES game. Now I have 66 blocks open. Then I download it. And then after I'm done, there's 76 blocks open.

Surely conspiracy theorists can dream up fancy explanations for this.

As for the channel itself, it's nice and slick looking. Music is kind of catchy, all the menus are clean and refined. It's as cool looking as it will be useless since no one is going to use it. Which is fantastic, I guess.

It's another one of those "this should have been the case from the damn beginning" sort of things, or it feels like it. Maybe I'll actually test it out soon enough.

Edit@Yukine: Whoa. I checked your status - it said you "couldn't chat." Your circle was sort of grayed out.
 
I must talk to Strell as well. I will write your FC down Strell if you write down mine. And I will be there in 2 minutes I guess.

Here's something neat about the Wii Speak Channel. I put in Strell's Wii FC # onto my Address list, and through the Wii Speak Channel I was able to see that no, he did not put my Wii FC into his address book, which is under my avatar, like everyone else's.

That's pretty neat.
 
Kingbroly: Sorry, missed your message. We ended the chat. I'm actually on my way out in a few minutes to take care of a friend's kid.

I'll get your FC up ins my system and we'll check it later.

Impressions: Slick interface, you can share photos which is kinda cool (I tested a few Animal Crossing snapshots), and the voice seems to work. There was some echo on Yukine's end, and we theorize the cause is his surround sound. I have no such fancy audio setup, and he said I was coming through pretty well.

So, again - something that should have been there all along. Nintendo always goes three steps forward and then one or two back.

Also there's a "change voice" button that causes ten seconds of....well, it's an acid trip. This was intensified in that I had a Mitch Hedberg Mii at the time.
 
I just got out of a chat with someone and there was some echo in there, but you could hear everyone, including yourself. I will say that the Wii Speak Channel makes me sound more like a man than either my PS3 or 360 headset. So +1 to Nintendo for that :)
 
If I ever see Wii Speak on sale for like $12, I'll get it and we can have "Wii Speak: After Hours" bwahahaha


I still haven't turned on my 'Crossing to find out what Regal/Classic stuff I want. You guys are gonna just bathe me in Regal & Classic stuff, mirite?

Suko, how are you on the 4th upgrade so fast? I have been buying everything everyday for the last .. 2 weeks? I am still on the Nook N Go. I love that store because of the 7am-1am hours, :cool:, but still...

With the 800K+ profit I made on turnips (Thanks shinryuu!) I was able to pay 2 mortages and get a fountain for my town. And I still have 300K left! I'll be investing all that in turnips come tomorrow. :D

Admittedly I TT'd about a week a few days ago. I justified it by thinking that's about how much AC I missed/going to miss. Also got lucky that Nook was selling expensive stuff and had a lot of expensive stuff to sell. Sorry :whistle2:(

Edit: It's strange that you don't have the third upgrade though. It's really not hard to get if you play this everyday.

lilboo, I have a regal sofa, regal wall, and classic wall in my catalog. Need any of those? I think my brother has a lot more regal/classic stuff in his catalog. =p

Bells would be good, but if you have any Cabana or Exotic furniture to trade, that would be even better :)

I have the Cabana Bookcase and Lamp and the Exotic Screen catologued, so anything other than those three would be great :)

Not playing any more tonight, but will be available tomorrow; should be able to get on most any time.

I already rescued her once, and she sent a thank you letter....were the letters in WW more of a little-kid quality? You know, poorly spelled words and all that? The one I got in here sounded very adult. I can't remember if that destroys some of the original charm or not.

So, who is awake and wants to play?
