:lol: Seriously, it's weird though. I visit other towns. I use wifi. I don't understand why I haven't seen her yet. I got Pascal today. Freaked me out when he jumped in the river. He floated down the entire thing. He even went over the waterfall. :lol:
 
I had Blanca just once, and that was the first or second day I played. I would have thought she would have showed up a few times by this point.

I tried using the makeover feature after I finished setting up my basement store.......XD I made a perfect Zoidberg recreation complete w/ doctors coat. Also got golden axe for 1st time after like 3 hours with the fountain b****, along with my second silver (Doomed ill give it to you later tonight) axe. Made 3 million yesterday off of Gamefaqs entrance fees (ie the reason I needed to kick non-turnipers out). Ill be on all night again, gates will be open by 1ish EST, and will stay open until 3 or so, and my town will be in the middle of the day so we can actually do stuff.
 
i accidentally sold my fishing pole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
there's none for sale at my nooks, and i've gone to a friends nooks and no poles there either.

what a pain.
 
i found 2 pearl oysters today. haha. I usually store my scallops in a drawer now so i have some when that beaver comes around.

I also planted a lot of flowers today. Trying to cross breed, and make my town a little better looking.

I had a letter ready to go to one of my animals but I was using them for storage for excess things when I was fishing. I forgot about that and mailed it yesterday. I have no idea what I gave away as I seem to have all my tools... :whistle2:k...

Yeah i have letters to store all my tools in. But i never mail people so, i dont have that problem.

To still have 529 prices, I would have had to reopen nooks every 8-9 hours.....I let CAGs in free for a few hours but I don't care that much to help a few people out in a game

The only reason I even TTd was to get the gold axe........though I also TT if people come to my town past 9 so stores are open. I just decided to be nice and spend 2 seconds checking 'nip prices for CAG, but I wont spend my own time, time which I could spend doing stuff for my own town, just so other people can make a couple 100k....

My town is boring, but I'm bored. LOL.

I took a pic of us holding football fish next to each other. LOL. But i am still waiting for my SD card reader so i can upload it, and other pics to these forums. Soon..... very soon!

I still need to get a USB keyboard for easier typage.

Got the last Nook shop today. His children are like little evil minion spawns. They're creepy.
 
I find myself slowing down on this game a lot sooner than I did on the GC and DS. I don't even have a second story on my house and I find I'm not bothering with my mortgage payments. I'll turn it on, see what Nook's got, buy his flowers and plant them, and try and find any weeds. Then I turn off.

I really think it's the lack variety compared to AC:WW. I don't remember the last time I went to the city, and there's not much there to really keep me going back.

Another reason could be that I just have a lot of other games I want to play, and that wasn't really the case when the other two came out.

I only go to the city looking for my silver shovel- and I'll stop going after I get one of those.

I think I'm slowing down a bit too- seems like i'm a LOT further into the game than I was on WW already- i mean, I'm only a few fossils shy of a complete dino exhibit (that was my end goal for WW).

Why do you need a silver shovel? Just bury a normal shovel for 24 hours for a gold.
 
I wake up everyday excited to see whats new. I always check for X's in the ground, see if anything is in the recycle bin, see what nook is selling, see what the fashion shop is selling, see if anything is in the lost and found. I love the head accessories in this game. :D Though after i do that i usually turn it off.

Ive paid off my house full now, getting my flag tomorrow. I do feel as if this game can be completed fast. Especially when you can trade stuff with people. If it was you on your own, then it would take a lot longer. I still need my windmill/Lighthouse. I dont care at all about getting those high priced feathers.

I hardly go to the city either. I got my silver shovel already. So the only reason for me to go to the city is to change my hair, maybe hit redds shop up.

Silver shovel has the ability to give you a 10% chance of doubling the gold you get from money rocks.

Now that you mention it, I don't recall the gold ever doing so; I just assumed it did the same.

Silver shovel sometimes gets you more Bells from the money rock.

EDIT: 126 Bells for turnips... at least it's going up in my town. Was 102 earlier.
 
I've mostly been playing this game on my own for the past two weeks (just two friends, but added two more last night) and didn't want to add a lot of other people yet until I could type faster in the game.

I just got a cordless USB keyboard today that works with the Wii (Logitech EX110 $19.99 AR at Radio Shack), so I'll finally be adding CAGs to my friends list. I tried to add everyone in the OP, but ran out of room on my list, so I'm gonna delete everyone and just add people who post or PM me and say they added me.

Only the person with Katie (kitten) gets the gift. Kaitlin (mother cat) doesn't send a gift. Whoever had Katie and escorted her to the other town will get the gift in the mail.
 
yeah i'll be on looking for the kitty at the moment. i think i only get the gift cause i have the kitty :bouncy:


yeah who ever has the kid has to bring them to the town that has the mom
 
OOOOH. So even if I went to HIS town, nothing would happen? Am I following this correctly? This is the first time it's happened, so I'm pretty unaware of what this is all about.

So basically, the one with the kid (Katie) has to go to the town where the mom is and not vice versa?

You take the kitten to the mom.

I don't think you can bring the mom to the kitten.

Whoever takes the kitten gets the prize, by the way - a few days later in the mail.
 
I don't think the mom is virtually in the other person's town. The kitten just says she's at whoever's town, and a cutscene happens right away when you visit whoever's town.

When I did this with jdm, I got an apple TV. So.. poops.
 
No, I have Kaitlin in my town. She keeps saying "PICKLES! I hope she's safe in Nintendo!" (his town's name)

Open your gates! If it doesn't work, we'll come to my town!
 
The mom is definitely in someone's town - let's call it Town A. The kitten is in Town B but says she wants to go to Town A.

Person in Town B talks to the kitten, says "follow me" or whatever the option is, and walks to their gate with the kitten following. You then must go to Town A to reunite the kitten with the mom.

When you are escorting the kitten, walk slowly. If you move too fast, she'll fall over and start crying. And for some reason that always makes me very sad so I always walk reaaaaaaaaaaaal slow.

The person who returns the kitten gets a prize - the one with the mom doesn't.

So in this case, oemor needs to guide the kitten to his gate and then travel to Lilboo's town. They'll reunite and oemor will get a prize in the mail later.
